Very good show

March 11, 2025

I think his Ic run being so long hurt him as a credible world champion. It’s like he fought all the same guys and crushed them for a mid card belt now we are supposed to believe they are an actual challenge to him as a world champion? Lol when they took the intercontinental title off of him they should have moved him to SmackDown and put a new list of challengers in front of him. And moved Cody and the WWE championship to raw

Ezra

Very good episode,

March 11, 2025

imagine being deluded enough to think a multi billion dollar company with guys who literally have wrestling in their blood hot shoted a heel turn storyline because they booked themselves into a corner. are you serious dude? that is the most ridiculous thing i have read in a minute lol. good luck bro.

Rowan

Great episode.

March 11, 2025

Punk/Cody was there for the taking and Cena could’ve gone up against Gunther.

They knee jerked a heel turn because they booked themselves into a nepotism corner

March 11, 2025

honestly don’t get the hate. like sure, there’s no major story here YET. But Punk/Rollins/Reigns has a lot of potential to be a high quality match. I’m legit looking forward to it and love that these three have wound up in a match together.

Willie

Great episode.

March 11, 2025

The triple threat match between them at Wrestlemania is gonna be awesome. Super stoked for this match

Gary

Great show

March 10, 2025

Let’s mention the women’s match in every live/hate challenge. Easiest task for this group of “journalists” ever. Each one of these love/hates are more embarrassing than the last. We get it, women’s wrestling is amazing and should main event every show and if a women’s match is bad it’s because where it is on the card or the booking it’s never the talent, all the women are top tier wrestlers.

Gerald

Very good show

March 10, 2025

You wanna find out who the real simps and shills are? Mark down anybody who defends that main event match! Even the diehard AEW fans are crapping on that main event. It was terrible.

This Moxley stuff is stinking out the entire show and the dude seems to think he is Brock Lesnar.

The sad part is that this wasn’t a terrible show overall and with all things taken into an account. But at the end of the day, a bad ending can ruin a whole show for a lot of people. “Game of Thrones season 8” style.

Frank

Great show

March 10, 2025

So the crux of it all is that the PLE started strong…then ended with a sour belch.

The fans most remember how you left them and the fans are going to remember this show with a resounding “bleh”!

And any casual fan who watched with their buddies who are more diehard fans, may have left the viewing saying aloud, “That guy was pretty good. He should go to WWE”.

Evelyn

Great show.

March 10, 2025

I’ve said before but I think one of the issues here is that Tony is a massive fan of NJPW and often looks to emulate their PPV card structure. NJPW cards typically build to a climax with the big matches back to back and tend not to feature cool down matches or spots. Problem is western audiences haven’t been conditioned for that over the last 40 years, so often results in burnout. Personally I would have laid out the card like below giving breathing spaces, opening with the Steel Cage match and building to the Hollywood Ending as the main event.

Storm vs. May

Mox vs. Cope

Hangman vs. MJF

Hurt Syndicate vs. Outrunners

Takeshita vs. Omega

Swerve vs. Ricochet

Okada vs. King

Mone vs. Watanabe

Ospreay vs. Fletcher

Willie

Great episode.

March 10, 2025

Very good show, but the ending is what people remember. WWE ended Elimination Chamber with a huge heel turn. AEW ended Revolution with that abominable ending.

it doesn’t totally undo a great show, but it might have done more harm than good.

Christian

Very good show

March 10, 2025

I can already see Trips the mark statues, Trips the mark with a 20 minutes speech, the camera focusing onTrips the mark every 30 seconds when he is on the crowd.

Oliver

Great show.

March 10, 2025

I’m glad they are bringing it back to a nice venue. The idea of hosting it immediately after Smackdown is insane. Why not put a highlight show or broadcast the Hall of Fame instead of airing Smackdown that week.

The Road to WrestleMania Begins: A Glimpse into the Royal Rumble 2025

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, wrestling fans across the globe! Are you ready? Because the rumble is coming! The air crackles with anticipation, the tension is palpable, and the wrestling world holds its breath. Yes, it’s that time of year again. The Royal Rumble, the most unpredictable, chaotic, and exhilarating pay-per-view on the WWE calendar, is upon us! Mark your calendars, set your reminders, and prepare for an epic night because on February 1st, 2025, the road to WrestleMania officially begins!

This isn’t just another wrestling event; it’s a spectacle. It’s a culmination of months of storylines, rivalries simmering to a boil, and the hopes and dreams of every WWE superstar hanging in the balance. The Royal Rumble isn’t just about crowning a winner; it’s about the moments, the surprises, the heart-stopping eliminations, and the sheer unpredictability that makes this event so iconic.

So, what can we expect from the Royal Rumble 2025? Let’s dive deep into the swirling rumors, the potential matchups, and the electrifying possibilities that await us.

The 30-Person Royal Rumble Match: A Battle Royale for the Ages

The centerpiece of the night, the match that defines careers and launches WrestleMania dreams, is the 30-person Royal Rumble match. Thirty superstars, representing the best of Raw and SmackDown, will collide in a battle of attrition, strategy, and sheer willpower. Each entrant will have their eyes on the prize: a guaranteed championship match at WrestleMania.

Who will emerge victorious? The possibilities are endless. Will we see a returning legend shock the world? Will a rising star cement their place in the main event scene? Or will a seasoned veteran use their experience to outlast the competition?

Rumors are swirling about potential entrants. Could we see the return of a beloved Hall of Famer, looking for one last run at glory? Perhaps a surprise NXT call-up will make a statement on the grandest stage. Or maybe, just maybe, we’ll witness a crossover from another wrestling promotion, sending the crowd into a frenzy.

Beyond the surprises, the Rumble match itself promises to be a showcase of athleticism and storytelling. We’ll see alliances formed and broken, rivalries reignited, and breathtaking displays of strength and agility. Expect shocking eliminations, near misses, and moments that will leave you on the edge of your seat.

The Championship Landscape: Ready to Explode

The Royal Rumble isn’t just about the Rumble match itself; it also sets the stage for the championship landscape heading into WrestleMania. Will the current champions enter the Rumble match, risking their titles for a chance at a bigger prize? Or will they defend their championships in high-stakes matches, potentially altering the WrestleMania main event picture?

The Universal Championship and the WWE Championship will undoubtedly be on the line. Who will hold these coveted titles come February 1st? And who will step up to challenge them? The rivalries leading into the Rumble will be crucial in determining the championship matchups and the potential WrestleMania implications.

Beyond the men’s titles, the women’s championships will also be a focal point. The women’s division has been on fire, with incredible talent and compelling storylines. Will we see a dominant champion enter the Rumble match, or will they defend their title against a worthy challenger? The women’s Rumble match promises to be just as exciting and unpredictable as the men’s, with a roster full of talented and driven superstars.

Beyond the Rumble: Matches to Watch

While the Rumble matches and championship bouts will steal the show, the undercard also promises to deliver. Expect heated rivalries to culminate in intense matches, showcasing the depth and talent of the WWE roster. Perhaps we’ll see a grudge match settled in a No Holds Barred brawl, or a high-flying spectacle that pushes the limits of athleticism. The possibilities are endless.

The Royal Rumble is more than just a collection of matches; it’s a night of storytelling. It’s a chance for rivalries to evolve, for new stars to emerge, and for the seeds of WrestleMania storylines to be planted. Keep an eye on the interactions, the backstage segments, and the post-match confrontations, as they may hold clues to the future of WWE.

The Atmosphere: Electric and Unforgettable

The Royal Rumble is known for its electrifying atmosphere. The energy of the crowd, the roar of the cheers, and the collective gasp of surprise create an unforgettable experience. Whether you’re in attendance or watching from home, you can feel the excitement radiating from the arena.

The 2025 Royal Rumble promises to be no different. Expect a passionate crowd, ready to witness history in the making. The energy will be contagious, making you feel like you’re right there in the thick of the action.

Predictions and Speculations: The Fun Part

Now, for the fun part: predictions! Who will win the Royal Rumble matches? Who will walk out with the championships? These are the questions that fuel speculation and debate among wrestling fans.

While predicting the Rumble is notoriously difficult, that doesn’t stop us from trying. Based on current storylines, potential returns, and a little bit of wishful thinking, here are some names to keep an eye on:

  • Men’s Royal Rumble: A returning legend like The Rock could make a shocking appearance and win the Rumble, setting up a dream match at WrestleMania. A rising star like Bron Breakker could use the Rumble as a launching pad to superstardom. Or perhaps a veteran like Cody Rhodes, seeking to finally capture the championship his father never held, will defy the odds and emerge victorious.
  • Women’s Royal Rumble: The women’s division is stacked with talent, making the women’s Rumble just as unpredictable. A dominant force like Rhea Ripley could solidify her place at the top of the division with a Rumble win. A returning star like Becky Lynch could reclaim her spot in the main event. Or perhaps a surprise NXT call-up will make a statement and win the Rumble in their debut.

These are just a few names to consider, and the beauty of the Royal Rumble is that anyone can win. The surprises, the twists, and the turns are what make this event so special.
