ROH Wrestling Live 3/27/25: A Night of Chaos, Glory, and Unforgettable Moments – Live Online Preview
The stage is set. The lights are dimmed. The roar of the crowd is about to erupt. On March 27, 2025, Ring of Honor (ROH) Wrestling returns with a live event that promises to be nothing short of spectacular. For fans of hard-hitting action, technical mastery, and storytelling that leaves you on the edge of your seat, this is the night you’ve been waiting for. Whether you’re tuning in live at the arena or streaming online from the comfort of your home, ROH Wrestling Live on 3/27/25 is an event you cannot afford to miss.
In this exclusive preview, we’ll dive deep into the match card, analyze the rivalries, and explore the stakes that make this event a must-watch. From championship clashes to grudge matches that have been simmering for months, this night is poised to deliver unforgettable moments that will be talked about for years to come. So, grab your popcorn, settle in, and let’s break down what’s in store for ROH Wrestling Live on March 27, 2025.
The Main Event: A Clash of Titans
At the top of the card, the ROH World Championship will be on the line as reigning champion Jonathan Gresham defends his title against the relentless Josh Alexander. This is a dream match for purists of technical wrestling. Gresham, known as “The Octopus” for his mastery of submissions and mat-based wrestling, has been on a historic run as champion. His ability to adapt and outthink his opponents has made him one of the most dominant champions in ROH history.
But standing in his way is Josh Alexander, “The Walking Weapon,” a man who has carved his own legacy in the world of professional wrestling. Alexander’s combination of brute strength and technical precision makes him a nightmare for any opponent. With both men at the peak of their powers, this match is guaranteed to be a masterclass in in-ring storytelling.
The stakes couldn’t be higher. For Gresham, it’s about cementing his legacy as one of the greatest ROH World Champions of all time. For Alexander, it’s about proving that he belongs on the mountaintop of professional wrestling. Expect a grueling, 30-minute classic that will leave fans breathless.
The Grudge Match: A Blood Feud Reaches Its Boiling Point
If there’s one match that has the potential to steal the show, it’s the no-disqualification grudge match between Eddie Kingston and Samoa Joe. This rivalry has been brewing for months, with personal insults, sneak attacks, and a level of animosity that can only be settled inside the ring.
Kingston, the self-proclaimed “Mad King,” is a brawler with a chip on his shoulder and a heart full of fire. His promos have been scathing, calling out Joe for “losing his edge” and becoming a “corporate puppet.” On the other hand, Samoa Joe, the Samoan Submission Machine, has been a dominant force in ROH for years. His calm demeanor hides a killer instinct that has laid waste to countless opponents.
With no rules to hold them back, this match is guaranteed to be a brutal, hard-hitting affair. Chairs, tables, and maybe even a few surprises will come into play as these two warriors look to settle their score once and for all.
The Tag Team Showdown: A Battle for Supremacy
The ROH World Tag Team Championships will also be on the line as the high-flying Top Flight defends their titles against the powerhouse duo FTR. Top Flight, consisting of brothers Dante and Darius Martin, have taken the tag team division by storm with their incredible athleticism and innovative double-team maneuvers.
But FTR, widely regarded as one of the greatest tag teams of all time, are no strangers to championship gold. Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood are masters of old-school tag team wrestling, using their chemistry and ring IQ to outmaneuver their opponents. This clash of styles promises to be a highlight of the night, with both teams pushing each other to their limits.
Will Top Flight’s speed and agility be enough to overcome FTR’s experience and brute strength? Or will FTR add another championship reign to their storied careers?
The Women’s Division: A Showcase of Excellence
The ROH Women’s World Championship will be defended in a triple-threat match featuring Athena, Deonna Purrazzo, and Trish Adora. Athena, the reigning champion, has been a dominant force in the women’s division, combining her power and agility to take down all challengers.
But Deonna Purrazzo, “The Virtuosa,” is a technical wizard with a submission game that can make anyone tap out. And let’s not forget Trish Adora, the “Afro-Punk Warrior,” whose unique blend of martial arts and power moves has made her a fan favorite.
With three of the best women’s wrestlers in the world going head-to-head, this match is sure to be a show-stealer. The chemistry between these competitors is off the charts, and the unpredictability of a triple-threat format means anything can happen.
The Rising Stars: A Chance to Shine
ROH has always been a platform for the next generation of wrestling stars, and this event is no exception. In a highly anticipated match, Lee Moriarty will take on Wheeler Yuta in a battle of technical wrestling excellence. Both men are considered future world champions, and this match could very well be a preview of things to come.
Moriarty, known as “The Apex of Combat,” is a student of the game with a deep understanding of wrestling fundamentals. Yuta, on the other hand, is a protege of Bryan Danielson and has been making waves with his hard-hitting style and never-say-die attitude.
This match is a proving ground for both competitors. A win here could catapult them into the main event scene, while a loss could mean going back to the drawing board. Expect a fast-paced, technically sound match that will leave fans in awe.
The Wildcard: A Mystery Opponent
As if the card wasn’t stacked enough, ROH officials have announced a surprise match featuring a mystery opponent. Speculation is running wild, with fans guessing everything from a returning legend to a debuting superstar. Whoever it is, one thing is certain: this match will add an extra layer of excitement to an already stacked event.
Why You Need to Watch Live
In an era where wrestling events are often predictable, ROH Wrestling Live on 3/27/25 promises to deliver the unexpected. From the technical brilliance of the main event to the chaos of the grudge match, every bout on the card has the potential to be a classic.
For fans watching online, the experience will be just as immersive. With multiple camera angles, exclusive backstage interviews, and real-time fan interactions, ROH is pulling out all the stops to make this a memorable night for everyone.

Very good show
I think his Ic run being so long hurt him as a credible world champion. It’s like he fought all the same guys and crushed them for a mid card belt now we are supposed to believe they are an actual challenge to him as a world champion? Lol when they took the intercontinental title off of him they should have moved him to SmackDown and put a new list of challengers in front of him. And moved Cody and the WWE championship to raw
Very good episode,
imagine being deluded enough to think a multi billion dollar company with guys who literally have wrestling in their blood hot shoted a heel turn storyline because they booked themselves into a corner. are you serious dude? that is the most ridiculous thing i have read in a minute lol. good luck bro.
Great episode.
Punk/Cody was there for the taking and Cena could’ve gone up against Gunther.
They knee jerked a heel turn because they booked themselves into a nepotism corner
Very good show
honestly don’t get the hate. like sure, there’s no major story here YET. But Punk/Rollins/Reigns has a lot of potential to be a high quality match. I’m legit looking forward to it and love that these three have wound up in a match together.
Great episode.
The triple threat match between them at Wrestlemania is gonna be awesome. Super stoked for this match
Great show
Let’s mention the women’s match in every live/hate challenge. Easiest task for this group of “journalists” ever. Each one of these love/hates are more embarrassing than the last. We get it, women’s wrestling is amazing and should main event every show and if a women’s match is bad it’s because where it is on the card or the booking it’s never the talent, all the women are top tier wrestlers.
Very good show
You wanna find out who the real simps and shills are? Mark down anybody who defends that main event match! Even the diehard AEW fans are crapping on that main event. It was terrible.
This Moxley stuff is stinking out the entire show and the dude seems to think he is Brock Lesnar.
The sad part is that this wasn’t a terrible show overall and with all things taken into an account. But at the end of the day, a bad ending can ruin a whole show for a lot of people. “Game of Thrones season 8” style.
Great show
So the crux of it all is that the PLE started strong…then ended with a sour belch.
The fans most remember how you left them and the fans are going to remember this show with a resounding “bleh”!
And any casual fan who watched with their buddies who are more diehard fans, may have left the viewing saying aloud, “That guy was pretty good. He should go to WWE”.
Great show.
I’ve said before but I think one of the issues here is that Tony is a massive fan of NJPW and often looks to emulate their PPV card structure. NJPW cards typically build to a climax with the big matches back to back and tend not to feature cool down matches or spots. Problem is western audiences haven’t been conditioned for that over the last 40 years, so often results in burnout. Personally I would have laid out the card like below giving breathing spaces, opening with the Steel Cage match and building to the Hollywood Ending as the main event.
Storm vs. May
Mox vs. Cope
Hangman vs. MJF
Hurt Syndicate vs. Outrunners
Takeshita vs. Omega
Swerve vs. Ricochet
Okada vs. King
Mone vs. Watanabe
Ospreay vs. Fletcher
Great episode.
Very good show, but the ending is what people remember. WWE ended Elimination Chamber with a huge heel turn. AEW ended Revolution with that abominable ending.
it doesn’t totally undo a great show, but it might have done more harm than good.
Very good show
I can already see Trips the mark statues, Trips the mark with a 20 minutes speech, the camera focusing onTrips the mark every 30 seconds when he is on the crowd.
Great show.
I’m glad they are bringing it back to a nice venue. The idea of hosting it immediately after Smackdown is insane. Why not put a highlight show or broadcast the Hall of Fame instead of airing Smackdown that week.
best of the best
Very good show tonight
