AEW Collision 2023 Results: A Night of Champions and Chaos
AEW Collision was held on October 14, 2023 at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. The event featured three championship matches, as well as several other high-profile bouts.
In the opening match of the night, Samoa Joe defended his ROH World Television Championship against Willie Mack. Joe was in control for most of the match, but Mack showed great resilience and came close to winning on several occasions. However, Joe eventually hit his Muscle Buster finisher to retain the title.
Next up was a match between Juice Robinson and Christopher Daniels. This was a hard-hitting match between two experienced veterans. Robinson eventually emerged victorious after hitting his Juice is Loose finisher.
After the match, Jay White came to the ring and proposed to Robinson with a mock Dynamite Diamond Ring. Robinson then drilled Daniels with the ring-aided Left Hand of God. White said that Robinson was going to take the Dynamite Diamond Ring next week and then White himself would be officially crowned the champion at Full Gear.
The third match of the night was a Kyle Fletcher vs. Boulder match. Fletcher was in control for most of the match and eventually won via submission with his Dragon Sleeper finisher.
The fourth match of the night was an AEW TBS Championship match between Kris Statlander and Skye Blue. Statlander was in control for most of the match and eventually won via pinfall after hitting her Big Bang Theory finisher.
Next up was a match between Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland. Lee was in control for most of the match and eventually won via pinfall after hitting his Spirit Bomb finisher.
The sixth match of the night was an AEW TNT Championship match between Christian Cage and Bryan Danielson. This was a highly anticipated match between two of the best wrestlers in the world. The match was back-and-forth throughout, with both wrestlers having their chances to win. However, Cage eventually emerged victorious after hitting his Killswitch finisher.
After the match, Ricky Starks, Luchasaurus, and Big Bill came to the ring and attacked Danielson. FTR and Adam Copeland rushed down to help Danielson, but they were outnumbered. Copeland was able to take out Luchasaurus, but Starks, Luchasaurus, and Big Bill continued to beat down Danielson.

Analysis
AEW Collision was a great event with several memorable matches. The TNT Championship match between Christian Cage and Bryan Danielson was the clear standout match of the night. The match was back-and-forth throughout, with both wrestlers having their chances to win. However, Cage eventually emerged victorious after hitting his Killswitch finisher.
The other championship matches were also good, but they didn’t quite reach the same level as the TNT Championship match. Samoa Joe retained his ROH World Television Championship against Willie Mack in a solid match. Juice Robinson defeated Christopher Daniels in a hard-hitting match. Kris Statlander retained her AEW TBS Championship against Skye Blue in a good match.
Keith Lee defeated Swerve Strickland in a solid match. This was a good match between two talented wrestlers, but it didn’t quite live up to the hype.
The post-match beatdown of Bryan Danielson by Ricky Starks, Luchasaurus, and Big Bill was a good angle to set up a future match between Danielson and Starks. FTR and Adam Copeland coming to Danielson’s aid was also a good angle to set up a future match between FTR, Copeland, and Starks, Luchasaurus, and Big Bill.
Overall, AEW Collision was a great event with several memorable matches. The TNT Championship match between Christian Cage and Bryan Danielson was the clear standout match of the night. However, the other matches were also good and the post-match beatdown of Bryan Danielson was a good angle to set up a future match between Danielson and Ricky Starks.
What’s Next for the AEW Champions?
