DID YOU ENJOY AEW DYNAMITE ON NOVEMBER 8TH 2023?
Excellent show.
Julia Hart might be in my top 5 AEW stars and I never saw that coming. Red Velvet looked better than I ever remember her. Great showing.
I thought the Mariah May intro was very smart. In 90 seconds we learned who she was, where she’s been, what her current storyline will be, and her general personality.
glass is 100%
The guy that threw Bowens through the glass is 100% Wardlow you can tell by the way he is standing afterwards
I mean. It HAS to be Cole no?
MJF finally has friends but they all end up getting battered? What a way to reinforce to him that he CANT have friends.
Adam Cole is 100% the devil.
He’s pushing for Joe to be Max’s partner and taking out the Acclaimed leaves him with no other choice
this wasn’t CM Punk.
Well guys, glass spot:
AEW may not have the most viewers,
the highest attendance, or generate the most revenue but not a single one of those things should affect how you enjoy it. Tonight was awesome and we’ve been on a hot streak with these matches. We truly are in a golden age of wrestling
all your getting is pre-show MJF”
Part of me wants to see the universe where TK actually had Garcia and Briscoe win and said “Fuck you, that’s your Full Gear main event now,
It’s a step in the right direction and hopefully they can get back onto their own path soon.
This show wasn’t perfect but it’s the first dynamite in a while that felt like an AEW show instead of WWE-lite.
That said, the narrative drip and predictable results are starting to take me out of weekly TV.
The People that are DYING for AEW to be on an unfixable downward trajectory and saying every single match is random and every single booking decision makes no sense are ruining the daily and the post show threads.
Couple of noticable things:
Cole once again immediatly hangs up when Roddy starts talking about the Devil. Same thing happened last week.
Cole wants MJF to team with Joe, but MJF says no and the next thing that happens is Joe suddenly relinquishes his title out of the blue. Then puts pressure on MJF by joining him backstage at the tv screen.
Acclaimed then get taken out by the Devil, in an attempt to seemingly thin MJF’s choices. He’s immedialty there to remark on it.
If its not all connected those are some weird coincidences. Could we be seeing a new alliance/faction being born?
Good call either way
Did they call a mulligan on Paul Wight having a match?
i dont get aew booking sometimes.
i wanna cheer for mark briscoe but why would i want him to win when jay white has been fueding with mjf for weeks? i wanna see mjf vs jay white not that

Jay White’s victory over Mark Briscoe was a major upset. After the match, MJF came to the ring and attacked White and the Bullet Club. MJF made it clear that he was coming for White’s IWGP World Heavyweight Championship.
In the main event of the show, MJF defended his AEW World Championship against Daniel Garcia. Garcia put up a valiant effort, but MJF was too much for him in the end. MJF retained his title with the Salt of the Earth submission.
Overall, AEW Dynamite on November 8, 2023 was a great show with several exciting matches and angles. MJF’s retention of the AEW World Championship, Samoa Joe’s vacation of the ROH World TV Championship, and Jay White’s victory over Mark Briscoe were all major highlights.
Analysis
The AEW World Championship match was the main event of the show for a reason. MJF and Daniel Garcia are two of the most talented wrestlers in AEW, and they put on a classic match. MJF’s retention of the title was a foregone conclusion, but Garcia made him work hard for it.
Samoa Joe’s decision to vacate the ROH World TV Championship was a surprise, but it was also a smart move. Joe is clearly focused on winning the AEW World Championship, and vacating the TV title will allow him to focus all of his attention on that goal.
Jay White’s victory over Mark Briscoe was a major upset. Briscoe is a beloved figure in AEW, and many fans expected him to defeat White. However, White is one of the best wrestlers in the world, and he showed why with his victory over Briscoe.
What’s Next?
MJF’s next challenger for the AEW World Championship is still unknown. However, there are a number of potential challengers, including Jay White, Samoa Joe, and Jon Moxley.
Samoa Joe’s next move is also unknown. He is likely to challenge for the AEW World Championship at some point, but he may also take some time off to rest and recover
Jay White’s victory over Mark Briscoe has set up a number of interesting possibilities. White is now in line for a title shot at the ROH World Championship, which is currently held by Bandido. However, White may also be interested in challenging for the AEW World Championship.
MJF’s attack on White and the Bullet Club after White’s victory over Mark Briscoe suggests that a feud between the two is brewing. This would be a major feud for both men, and it would be one of the most anticipated matches in AEW.
Another potential feud that could come out of this show is between Samoa Joe and Jay White. Joe made it clear that he is coming for White’s IWGP World Heavyweight Championship. This would be a dream match for many fans, and it would be a great way to build up the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship for its eventual debut in AEW.
Overall, AEW Dynamite on November 8, 2023 was a great show that set up a number of interesting possibilities for the future. It will be exciting to see how these storylines develop in the coming weeks and months.
Here are some specific thoughts on the post-match angles:
- Samoa Joe vacating the ROH World TV Championship: This is a bold move by Joe, but it is also a smart one. He has made it clear that he is focused on winning the AEW World Championship, and vacating the TV title will allow him to focus all of his attention on that goal.
- MJF attacking Jay White and the Bullet Club: This is a sign that MJF is looking for a new challenge. He has already defeated all of the top contenders for the AEW World Championship, so he is likely looking for someone new to step up to him.
- Samoa Joe vs. Jay White: This is a dream match for many fans, and it is one that could main event a major PPV. It would be a great way to build up the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship for its eventual debut in AEW.
My predictions for the future:
- MJF’s next challenger: I think MJF’s next challenger will be Samoa Joe. Joe is a major star, and he is a legitimate threat to MJF’s title.
- Samoa Joe’s next move: I think Samoa Joe will take some time off to rest and recover. He has been wrestling non-stop for many years, and he needs to take some time to recharge his batteries.
- Jay White’s next move: I think Jay White will challenge for the ROH World Championship. He is already in line for a title shot, and he is the perfect person to elevate the title.
Overall, I am very excited about the future of AEW. There are a number of great storylines brewing, and there are a number of potential dream matches that could happen. I can’t wait to see what happens next!
