WWE Rivals Live 4/13/25: The Ultimate Preview – Rage, Redemption, and Rivalries Collide!
By [Watch Wrestling]
The air is electric. The stakes are monumental. The rivalries? Absolutely explosive. WWE Rivals Live is back, and this year’s edition on April 13th, 2025, promises to be an unforgettable night of chaos, vengeance, and jaw-dropping action.
From long-simmering grudges to shocking betrayals, WWE’s most intense competitors will step into the ring to settle their scores—once and for all. Whether you’re a lifelong fan or a newcomer to the spectacle of sports entertainment, this event is must-see television.
In this exclusive, in-depth preview, we’ll break down every confirmed match, analyze the biggest storylines, and predict the outcomes that could reshape WWE’s future. Buckle up—because Rivals Live is about to take us on a wild ride!
🔥 The Main Event: A War of Titans – Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes III
The rivalry that has defined WWE for the past three years reaches its most brutal chapter yet. Roman Reigns, the undisputed Tribal Chief, has spent years dominating WWE with an iron grip. But Cody Rhodes, the American Nightmare, has been his kryptonite—coming agonizingly close to dethroning him not once, but twice.
At WWE Rivals Live, these two warriors will collide in a No Disqualification Match, where anything goes. Bloodline interference? Possible. Outside weapons? Guaranteed. A definitive end to this saga? We can only hope.
Prediction: Cody Rhodes finally overcomes the odds and pins Roman Reigns clean in the middle of the ring, solidifying his place as the new face of WWE. But don’t expect Reigns to go quietly—post-match chaos is inevitable.
💥 The Viper Strikes Back – Randy Orton vs. Solo Sikoa
Randy Orton has been methodically dismantling The Bloodline for months, and now, he faces its most vicious enforcer: Solo Sikoa. After Sikoa took Orton out with a brutal attack last year, the Viper is back with a vengeance.
This isn’t just a match—it’s personal. Orton’s calculated brutality meets Sikoa’s raw, unrelenting power. Expect a hard-hitting, no-holds-barred brawl that could steal the show.
Prediction: Randy Orton hits an RKO out of nowhere to secure the win, but The Bloodline’s retaliation post-match could set up an even bigger showdown at Backlash.
👑 Queen’s Last Stand? – Charlotte Flair vs. Rhea Ripley (Last Woman Standing Match)
Two of WWE’s most dominant women are set to destroy each other in a Last Woman Standing Match. Charlotte Flair, the 15-time champion, has made it clear: she wants to prove she’s still the standard. But Rhea Ripley, the reigning Women’s World Champion, has no intention of surrendering her throne.
This feud has been brutal, with Ripley powerbombing Flair through tables and Flair retaliating with vicious chops and Figure-Eight Leglocks. Now, with no count-outs and no disqualifications, who walks out as the true queen of WWE?
Prediction: Rhea Ripley retains after a hellacious spot (think a powerbomb off the stage), but Charlotte’s resilience ensures this feud isn’t over yet.
⚡ High-Flying Warfare – Rey Mysterio vs. Dominik Mysterio
The father-son rivalry that has torn the Mysterio family apart reaches its most emotional climax yet. Dominik, now a full-fledged heel and proud member of The Judgment Day, has no respect for his legendary father. Rey, meanwhile, fights not just for pride—but for his family’s legacy.
This Lucha Libre showdown will be a masterclass in high-flying action, but the real story is the psychological warfare. Will Dom finally prove he’s outgrown his father? Or will Rey teach his son one final lesson?
Prediction: Dominik cheats to win (likely with Judgment Day interference), further cementing his status as WWE’s most hated heel.
🔪 The Ultimate Opportunist’s Last Gamble – Seth Rollins vs. Damian Priest (World Heavyweight Championship, Cash-In Match)
Seth “Freakin” Rollins has been a fighting champion, but his greatest threat may come from Damian Priest, who still holds the Money in the Bank briefcase. WWE has teased a cash-in for months—will Rivals Live finally be the night?
With Judgment Day lurking at ringside, Rollins must overcome not just Priest, but the numbers game. If Priest cashes in successfully, it could mark the end of Rollins’ reign and the rise of a new era.
Prediction: Priest successfully cashes in after a brutal assault from Finn Bálor and JD McDonagh, becoming the new World Heavyweight Champion.
💣 The Brawling Brutes Collide – Sheamus vs. Gunther (Intercontinental Championship)
Sheamus has one goal left in WWE—to dethrone Gunther and become Intercontinental Champion. After years of wars, these two behemoths will clash in what promises to be a stiff, hard-hitting classic.
Gunther’s record-breaking reign is on the line, and Sheamus is hungrier than ever. Will the Celtic Warrior finally claim the one title that has eluded him? Or will the Ring General continue his dominant reign?
Prediction: Gunther retains after a 20-minute war, but Sheamus earns his respect in defeat.
🎯 Bonus Match: The Tag Team Turmoil – The Usos vs. Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn
The Usos and Owens & Zayn have history. After the dissolution of The Bloodline, Jimmy & Jey have struggled to coexist—but against their longtime rivals, will they reunite for one night only?
This match could be a show-stealer, with fast-paced action, insane near-falls, and plenty of drama.
Prediction: Owens & Zayn pick up the win, further fracturing The Usos’ brotherhood.
🚨 Final Thoughts: Why WWE Rivals Live 2025 Can’t Be Missed
From career-defining grudge matches to title changes that will reshape WWE, Rivals Live 2025 is stacked from top to bottom. Every rivalry has reached its boiling point, and the fallout from this event will echo for months.
Will Cody Rhodes finally conquer Roman Reigns? Can Rhea Ripley survive Charlotte’s wrath? And will Damian Priest seize his moment and become champion?
One thing’s for sure: April 13th will be a night WWE fans never forget.

Very good show
I think his Ic run being so long hurt him as a credible world champion. It’s like he fought all the same guys and crushed them for a mid card belt now we are supposed to believe they are an actual challenge to him as a world champion? Lol when they took the intercontinental title off of him they should have moved him to SmackDown and put a new list of challengers in front of him. And moved Cody and the WWE championship to raw
Very good episode,
imagine being deluded enough to think a multi billion dollar company with guys who literally have wrestling in their blood hot shoted a heel turn storyline because they booked themselves into a corner. are you serious dude? that is the most ridiculous thing i have read in a minute lol. good luck bro.
Great episode.
Punk/Cody was there for the taking and Cena could’ve gone up against Gunther.
They knee jerked a heel turn because they booked themselves into a nepotism corner
Very good show
honestly don’t get the hate. like sure, there’s no major story here YET. But Punk/Rollins/Reigns has a lot of potential to be a high quality match. I’m legit looking forward to it and love that these three have wound up in a match together.
Great episode.
The triple threat match between them at Wrestlemania is gonna be awesome. Super stoked for this match
Great show
Let’s mention the women’s match in every live/hate challenge. Easiest task for this group of “journalists” ever. Each one of these love/hates are more embarrassing than the last. We get it, women’s wrestling is amazing and should main event every show and if a women’s match is bad it’s because where it is on the card or the booking it’s never the talent, all the women are top tier wrestlers.
Very good show
You wanna find out who the real simps and shills are? Mark down anybody who defends that main event match! Even the diehard AEW fans are crapping on that main event. It was terrible.
This Moxley stuff is stinking out the entire show and the dude seems to think he is Brock Lesnar.
The sad part is that this wasn’t a terrible show overall and with all things taken into an account. But at the end of the day, a bad ending can ruin a whole show for a lot of people. “Game of Thrones season 8” style.
Great show
So the crux of it all is that the PLE started strong…then ended with a sour belch.
The fans most remember how you left them and the fans are going to remember this show with a resounding “bleh”!
And any casual fan who watched with their buddies who are more diehard fans, may have left the viewing saying aloud, “That guy was pretty good. He should go to WWE”.
Great show.
I’ve said before but I think one of the issues here is that Tony is a massive fan of NJPW and often looks to emulate their PPV card structure. NJPW cards typically build to a climax with the big matches back to back and tend not to feature cool down matches or spots. Problem is western audiences haven’t been conditioned for that over the last 40 years, so often results in burnout. Personally I would have laid out the card like below giving breathing spaces, opening with the Steel Cage match and building to the Hollywood Ending as the main event.
Storm vs. May
Mox vs. Cope
Hangman vs. MJF
Hurt Syndicate vs. Outrunners
Takeshita vs. Omega
Swerve vs. Ricochet
Okada vs. King
Mone vs. Watanabe
Ospreay vs. Fletcher
Great episode.
Very good show, but the ending is what people remember. WWE ended Elimination Chamber with a huge heel turn. AEW ended Revolution with that abominable ending.
it doesn’t totally undo a great show, but it might have done more harm than good.
Very good show
I can already see Trips the mark statues, Trips the mark with a 20 minutes speech, the camera focusing onTrips the mark every 30 seconds when he is on the crowd.
Great show.
I’m glad they are bringing it back to a nice venue. The idea of hosting it immediately after Smackdown is insane. Why not put a highlight show or broadcast the Hall of Fame instead of airing Smackdown that week.
best of the best
Very good show tonight
