With WrestleMania 41 just around the corner, the road to the grandest stage of them all is heating up, and every moment on RAW is crucial. So, grab your popcorn, settle into your favorite spot on the couch, and get ready for a deep dive into what promises to be one of the most explosive nights in WWE history. Here’s your ultimate preview of WWE RAW Live on April 7th, 2025.
The Main Event: A Clash of Titans
The main event of the evening is already sending shockwaves through the WWE Universe. In a match that has been months in the making, the reigning WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Seth “The Architect” Rollins, will go one-on-one with the relentless Gunther in a non-title match. This is more than just a match; it’s a battle of ideologies. Rollins, the charismatic and cunning champion, represents the pinnacle of sports entertainment, while Gunther, the stoic and brutal Ring General, embodies the old-school, no-nonsense approach to professional wrestling.
The tension between these two has been building since their first encounter at the Royal Rumble, where Rollins narrowly escaped with his title intact. Since then, Gunther has been on a warpath, dismantling every opponent in his way and demanding another shot at the gold. Rollins, on the other hand, has been playing mind games, using his superior mic skills to get under Gunther’s skin. But will mind games be enough to overcome the sheer physical dominance of Gunther? Or will the Ring General prove once again why he’s one of the most feared competitors in WWE today?
This match is a potential show-stealer, and with WrestleMania looming, the outcome could have massive implications for both men. Will Rollins gain the upper hand heading into the biggest event of the year? Or will Gunther send a chilling message to the entire WWE roster?
The Women’s Division: A New Era Begins
The WWE Women’s Division has been on fire lately, and this episode of RAW is no exception. The spotlight will be on the WWE Women’s Champion, Rhea Ripley, who will defend her title against the high-flying Liv Morgan in what promises to be a hard-hitting, fast-paced encounter. Ripley, the self-proclaimed “Nightmare,” has been a dominant force since capturing the title, but Morgan has been on a roll lately, earning her shot at the gold with a series of impressive victories.
But there’s more to this match than meets the eye. Rumors have been swirling about a potential alliance between Morgan and the returning Sasha Banks, who has been teasing a comeback for weeks. Could we see the Boss make her long-awaited return to WWE and align with Morgan to take down Ripley? Or will Ripley continue her reign of terror, proving once again why she’s one of the most dominant champions in WWE history?
This match is a must-watch for any fan of women’s wrestling, and the outcome could set the stage for a blockbuster Women’s Championship match at WrestleMania.
Tag Team Turmoil: The Usos vs. The New Day
The tag team division has always been a cornerstone of WWE, and this episode of RAW will feature a clash of titans as The Usos take on The New Day in a match that could have major implications for the tag team titles. Both teams are no strangers to each other, having battled countless times over the years, but this time, the stakes are higher than ever.
The Usos, now aligned with the villainous Roman Reigns, have been on a mission to prove that they are the greatest tag team of all time. The New Day, on the other hand, are determined to reclaim their spot at the top of the division and bring some much-needed positivity back to WWE. With both teams at the top of their game, this match is sure to be a classic, filled with high-flying maneuvers, brutal strikes, and plenty of drama.
But the real question is: what role will Roman Reigns play in all of this? The Tribal Chief has been known to interfere in matches to ensure his family’s dominance, and The New Day will need to be on high alert if they want to walk out with a victory.
The Rising Stars: Breakker and Hayes Collide
One of the most exciting aspects of WWE RAW is the emergence of new stars, and this episode will feature a dream match between two of the brightest young talents in the company: Bron Breakker and Carmelo Hayes. Both men have been on a meteoric rise, with Breakker’s raw power and intensity contrasting perfectly with Hayes’ flashy, high-flying style.
This match is more than just a showcase of talent; it’s a statement. Both Breakker and Hayes are looking to prove that they are the future of WWE, and a victory here could catapult them into the main event scene. With both men hungry for success and willing to do whatever it takes to win, this match is sure to be a highlight of the night.
The Wildcard: Bray Wyatt’s Return?
The WWE Universe has been buzzing with speculation about the possible return of Bray Wyatt. The enigmatic superstar has been absent from WWE programming for months, but recent cryptic vignettes have hinted at his imminent return. Could RAW on April 7th be the night that Wyatt finally makes his comeback? And if so, what does he have in store for the WWE Universe?
Wyatt’s return would undoubtedly shake up the landscape of WWE, and his presence could have a major impact on several storylines heading into WrestleMania. Whether he’s targeting a specific superstar or simply looking to cause chaos, one thing is for sure: the WWE Universe will be on the edge of their seats waiting to see what the Eater of Worlds has in store.

Very good show
I think his Ic run being so long hurt him as a credible world champion. It’s like he fought all the same guys and crushed them for a mid card belt now we are supposed to believe they are an actual challenge to him as a world champion? Lol when they took the intercontinental title off of him they should have moved him to SmackDown and put a new list of challengers in front of him. And moved Cody and the WWE championship to raw
Very good episode,
imagine being deluded enough to think a multi billion dollar company with guys who literally have wrestling in their blood hot shoted a heel turn storyline because they booked themselves into a corner. are you serious dude? that is the most ridiculous thing i have read in a minute lol. good luck bro.
Great episode.
Punk/Cody was there for the taking and Cena could’ve gone up against Gunther.
They knee jerked a heel turn because they booked themselves into a nepotism corner
Very good show
honestly don’t get the hate. like sure, there’s no major story here YET. But Punk/Rollins/Reigns has a lot of potential to be a high quality match. I’m legit looking forward to it and love that these three have wound up in a match together.
Great episode.
The triple threat match between them at Wrestlemania is gonna be awesome. Super stoked for this match
Great show
Let’s mention the women’s match in every live/hate challenge. Easiest task for this group of “journalists” ever. Each one of these love/hates are more embarrassing than the last. We get it, women’s wrestling is amazing and should main event every show and if a women’s match is bad it’s because where it is on the card or the booking it’s never the talent, all the women are top tier wrestlers.
Very good show
You wanna find out who the real simps and shills are? Mark down anybody who defends that main event match! Even the diehard AEW fans are crapping on that main event. It was terrible.
This Moxley stuff is stinking out the entire show and the dude seems to think he is Brock Lesnar.
The sad part is that this wasn’t a terrible show overall and with all things taken into an account. But at the end of the day, a bad ending can ruin a whole show for a lot of people. “Game of Thrones season 8” style.
Great show
So the crux of it all is that the PLE started strong…then ended with a sour belch.
The fans most remember how you left them and the fans are going to remember this show with a resounding “bleh”!
And any casual fan who watched with their buddies who are more diehard fans, may have left the viewing saying aloud, “That guy was pretty good. He should go to WWE”.
Great show.
I’ve said before but I think one of the issues here is that Tony is a massive fan of NJPW and often looks to emulate their PPV card structure. NJPW cards typically build to a climax with the big matches back to back and tend not to feature cool down matches or spots. Problem is western audiences haven’t been conditioned for that over the last 40 years, so often results in burnout. Personally I would have laid out the card like below giving breathing spaces, opening with the Steel Cage match and building to the Hollywood Ending as the main event.
Storm vs. May
Mox vs. Cope
Hangman vs. MJF
Hurt Syndicate vs. Outrunners
Takeshita vs. Omega
Swerve vs. Ricochet
Okada vs. King
Mone vs. Watanabe
Ospreay vs. Fletcher
Great episode.
Very good show, but the ending is what people remember. WWE ended Elimination Chamber with a huge heel turn. AEW ended Revolution with that abominable ending.
it doesn’t totally undo a great show, but it might have done more harm than good.
Very good show
I can already see Trips the mark statues, Trips the mark with a 20 minutes speech, the camera focusing onTrips the mark every 30 seconds when he is on the crowd.
Great show.
I’m glad they are bringing it back to a nice venue. The idea of hosting it immediately after Smackdown is insane. Why not put a highlight show or broadcast the Hall of Fame instead of airing Smackdown that week.
best of the best
Very good show tonight
