DID YOU ENJOY AEW RAMPAGE ON OCTOBER 20TH 2023?
Refresh my memory.
I haven’t watched yet, but is this the ORIGINAL Mistico? The one that had the bad WWE run and then became Myzteziz for a while?
And I will be here for it.
They keep mentioning Homicide’s name…
Please TK if you are reading this, give me a Trio’s run with Eddie, Homicide and reluctant Moxley.
It will be the grimiest, dirtiest, brawling-ist trios run known to man.
machine gear was dope
Skye Blues mystery
Please get Saraya off TV ASAP.
Ruby/Skye was fine but that finish was dogshit.
They need to get the ROH 6 Man titles off AEW shows,
you don’t need two sets of trios belts being defended. ROH only has one title that appears on the show, the rest seem to only appear on AEW.
Mistico vs Rocky was dope, but they have a better one in them.
Skye Blue needed a win there and didn’t get it. Flipping Ruby heel was probably not a bad idea on the whole, but she has regressed as part of the Outcasts. She had a lot more momentum as a Babyface.
Nice to see Silver get a win, sucks to see Sabian just treading water.
Brother Zay is growing on me.
And I’m really enjoying that he is learning from The Hardyz and incorporating their moves. Dude is totally adding his own flavor too. Howww Yeaaaaah lol
Battle of the Belts 2023
I would like Battle of the Belts to be a PPV.
Skye Blue losing
I am starting to genuinely wonder if Skye Blue losing to a current or former member of the Outcasts is a fetish for someone at AEW because I cannot believe how much she’s lost to them.
This was a really fun show.
I’m not sure I’ve ever seen Rocky be heel. The crowd seemed really into everything even though it must have been getting late into the evening. Regarding Skye’s colourful gear, maybe she’s trying to overcompensate for the darkness growing inside her?
Honestly, what is Saraya offering AEW right now?
They did the whole “win the big one after a neck injury and return” storyline and it was fine. Well, not really because she’s terrible.
But like, what else is she gonna do or offer AEW from here?
I don’t see her winning it again. She’s terrible in the ring and I don’t see her having any huge 1 on 1 feuds with anyone.
Is Taya injured?
It seemed she was on every week in July and then just vanished.
AEW Rampage Results: October 20, 2023
Introduction
AEW Rampage returned on October 20, 2023, with a stacked card featuring some of the biggest names in the company. The main event saw John Silver defeat Kip Sabian and Brother Zay in a triple threat match to earn a shot at Orange Cassidy’s AEW International Championship. Other highlights included a Two Out of Three Falls Match between Mistico and Rocky Romero, a tag team match between the Blackpool Combat Club and Bryan Keith & Exodus Prime, and a singles match between Ruby Soho and Skye Blue.
Two Out of Three Falls Match: Mistico vs. Rocky Romero
The show kicked off with a Two Out of Three Falls Match between Mistico and Rocky Romero. Both men are highly skilled luchadors, and they put on a fast-paced and exciting match. Mistico won the first fall with a roll-up, but Romero won the second fall with a submission. The third fall was even more competitive, but in the end, Mistico was able to pick up the win with his trademark armbar.
Blackpool Combat Club vs. Bryan Keith & Exodus Prime
Next up was a tag team match between the Blackpool Combat Club (Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta) and Bryan Keith & Exodus Prime. The BCC are one of the most dominant tag teams in AEW, and they quickly took control of the match. Keith and Prime tried to make a comeback, but in the end, Castagnoli and Yuta were too much for them. Yuta pinned Prime to give the BCC the victory.
AEW International Championship #1 Contender Triple Threat Match: Kip Sabian vs. Isiah Kassidy vs. John Silver
The main event of the evening was a triple threat match between Kip Sabian, Isiah Kassidy, and John Silver to determine the #1 contender for the AEW International Championship. All three men have been impressive in recent weeks, and they were all determined to win the match.
The match was a back-and-forth affair, with all three men having their moments. Sabian hit a beautiful Arabian Press to the outside, while Kassidy hit a huge swanton bomb. Silver, however, was the one who came out on top. He hit a German suplex with a bridge on Sabian and then pinned Kassidy with a running punt to the side of the head.
Ruby Soho vs. Skye Blue
The final match of the evening was a singles match between Ruby Soho and Skye Blue. Soho is a former AEW Women’s World Champion, and she is one of the most popular wrestlers in the company. Blue is a young and talented wrestler, and she is quickly rising through the ranks of the AEW women’s division.
The match was a competitive one, but in the end, Soho was able to pick up the win. She hit Blue with her finisher, the No Future, to secure the victory.
