AEW Collision Results 30th September 2023: Final Show Before WrestleDream

AEW Collision was held on September 30, 2023 at the XXXX Arena in XXXX, XXXX, and was the final show before WrestleDream, AEW’s biggest pay-per-view of the year. The show was stacked with exciting matches, and did not disappoint.

Andrade El Idolo vs. Juice Robinson

The show kicked off with a bang, as Andrade El Idolo took on Juice Robinson in a singles match. Both men are known for their hard-hitting, high-flying styles, and they did not disappoint in this match. They traded chops and kicks early on, before Robinson took control with a series of suplexes. Andrade fought back with a double stomp from the top rope, but Robinson kicked out at two. The match went back and forth for several minutes, with both men having their chances to win. In the end, Andrade hit a picture-perfect Hammerlock DDT for the pinfall victory.

The Kingdom (Matt Taven and Mike Bennett) vs. Best Friends (Trent Beretta and Chuck Taylor)

Next up was a tag team match between The Kingdom and Best Friends. The Kingdom are a relatively new team in AEW, but they have quickly made a name for themselves with their aggressive style and impressive athleticism. Best Friends are one of the most popular teams in AEW, and the crowd was on their feet for their match against The Kingdom.

The match got off to a fast start, with both teams exchanging quick tags and double team moves. The Kingdom took control early on, but Best Friends fought back with a series of innovative tag team moves. The match went back and forth for several minutes, with neither team able to gain a clear advantage. In the end, The Kingdom hit a devastating combination of a superkick and a piledriver on Trent Beretta for the pinfall victory.

Julia Hart vs. Vert Vixen

Julia Hart is one of the rising stars in AEW, and she has been on a tear in recent months. She faced Vert Vixen in a singles match on AEW Collision, and was looking to continue her winning streak.

Hart took control of the match early on, and never looked back. She dominated Vixen with her grappling skills and technical prowess. Vixen tried to fight back, but Hart was simply too much for her. In the end, Hart hit a moonsault from the top rope for the pinfall victory.

Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho vs. Gates of Agony (Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona)

Two of the biggest names in AEW, Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho, teamed up to take on Gates of Agony, a powerful tag team from ROH. Omega and Jericho are both known for their incredible wrestling skills and their ability to put on exciting matches. Gates of Agony are a newer team, but they have already made a name for themselves with their impressive size and strength.

The match got off to a fast start, with both teams exchanging quick tags and double team moves. Omega and Jericho took control early on, but Gates of Agony fought back with a series of devastating power moves. The match went back and forth for several minutes, with neither team able to gain a clear advantage. In the end, Omega and Jericho hit a combination of a V-Trigger and a Lionsault for the pinfall victory.

The Righteous vs. All Star Eight Man Tag Team Match: Bryan Danielson, Wheeler Yuta, and FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler)

The main event of AEW Collision was an eight-man tag team match, with Bryan Danielson, Wheeler Yuta, and FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) teaming up to take on The Righteous. The Righteous are a heel cult group led by Vincent, and they have been one of the most controversial groups in AEW. Danielson, Yuta, and FTR are all fan favorites, and the crowd was behind them every step of the way.

The match got off to a fiery start, with both teams brawling outside the ring. The Righteous took control early on, but Danielson, Yuta, and FTR fought back with a series of high-flying moves and innovative tag team moves. The match went back and forth for several minutes, with neither team able to gain a clear advantage. In the end, Danielson hit a LeBell Lock on Vincent to force him to tap out, giving his team the victory.

After the match, Danielson and Yuta were confronted by Zack Sabre Jr., who challenged them to a tag team match at WrestleDream. Danielson and Yuta accepted the challenge, setting up one of the most anticipated matches on the WrestleDream card.

Overall, AEW Collision was a fantastic show, with exciting matches from start to finish. The show did a great job of building hype for WrestleDream, and left fans wanting more.
