iMPACT Wrestling Results: September 7, 2023

iMPACT Wrestling returned this week with a stacked card, as the stars of the show prepared for Victory Road. In the main event, Josh Alexander and PCO teamed up to take on Bully Ray and Steve Maclin. The match was a hard-hitting affair, with both teams giving it their all. In the end, it was Bully Ray and Steve Maclin who emerged victorious, thanks to a low blow from Bully Ray.

The show also featured a contract signing for the Knockouts Championship match between Deonna Purrazzo and Jordynne Grace. The two women exchanged heated words, and it was clear that they are both eager to get their hands on each other.

In other action, Rich Swann and Sami Callihan defeated Subculture, and Lio Rush defeated Kevin Knight. Tommy Dreamer also cut a promo, announcing that he will be putting his career on the line against Kenny King at Victory Road.

Deonna Purrazzo vs. Dani Luna

Deonna Purrazzo made her way to the ring for her first match since losing the Knockouts Championship to Jordynne Grace at Slammiversary. She was facing Dani Luna, a rising star in the Knockouts division.

Purrazzo was in control early on, but Luna fought back with some impressive offense. She even hit a Fallaway Slam on Purrazzo. However, Purrazzo eventually got the upper hand and locked in the Fujiwara Armbar for the submission victory.

Joe Hendry and Yuya Uemura vs. Champagne Singh and Shera

Joe Hendry and Yuya Uemura were looking to get back on track after losing their tag team titles to Violent By Design. They faced off against Champagne Singh and Shera, a team that has been steadily improving.

Hendry and Uemura controlled most of the match, but Singh and Shera refused to give up. They hit a double team suplex on Hendry, but he managed to kick out at two. Hendry and Uemura eventually hit their double team finisher, the British Bulldog, for the victory.

Subculture vs. Rich Swann and Sami Callihan

Subculture (Ace Austin and Madman Fulton) were looking to get revenge on Rich Swann and Sami Callihan for costing them the Tag Team Titles. The two teams went back and forth, with neither one able to gain an advantage.

The match came to a head when Fulton accidentally hit Austin with a powerbomb. This allowed Swann to roll up Austin for the victory.

Lio Rush vs. Kevin Knight

Lio Rush was looking to get back on track after losing to Trey Miguel at Slammiversary. He faced off against Kevin Knight, a young upstart who is looking to make a name for himself.

Rush was in control throughout the match, and he hit his signature finisher, the Final Hour, for the victory.

Contract signing for the Knockouts Championship match: Deonna Purrazzo vs. Jordynne Grace

Deonna Purrazzo and Jordynne Grace signed the contract for their Knockouts Championship match at Victory Road. The two women exchanged heated words, and it was clear that they are both eager to get their hands on each other.

Purrazzo promised to destroy Grace at Victory Road, while Grace vowed to reclaim her title. The two women then came to blows, and it took security guards to separate them.

Josh Alexander and PCO vs. Bully Ray and Steve Maclin

The main event of the night saw Josh Alexander and PCO team up to take on Bully Ray and Steve Maclin. The match was a hard-hitting affair, with both teams giving it their all.

In the end, it was Bully Ray and Steve Maclin who emerged victorious, thanks to a low blow from Bully Ray. After the match, Bully Ray and Steve Maclin continued to attack Alexander and PCO.
