Whenever I see an opportunity where Cody and Seth can neutralize the bitterness against each other, the plan always tends to get the opposite result 😂

LA Knight drops The Miz

Great promo this was definitely a “prove it” promo for la Knight and he passed, some people are acting like la knight lost this promo battle because he misspoke, and that makes no sense they both had good lines and miz has slipped up a few times on the mic before and recovered and the same thing happened with la knight

ayo rezzy

That was a lot of fun.

Maxxine taking a table bump was so unexpected but she took it like a champ.

I genuinely really enjoy Titus O’Neil on commentary and honestly would like to see him permanently in that position.

The Viking Raiders

The Viking Raiders not being portrayed as literal vikings and seeing Erik and Ivar love bowling, women being overly attracted to Ivar like he was Will Ferrell’s character in The Other Guys, that stuff was pandemic-era gold.

Larry

Goddamn I loved that match.

This Maxine angle has helped the Academy get over BIG. I don’t remember anything near that many people doing the Thank YOU with Gable.

Titus O’Neil calling the Viking Raiders musky was the call of the year

If we can get serious MMA Riddle for a good year,

I think people will come around on him.

I’ve seen his indy work, so his ability was never in question for me. Just how they present him.

Nicholas

Real fun match.

I know Riddle gets a lot of crud around here, but he, along with The Ring General, gave us a show not every superstar could.

He needs to beat Honkey Tonk Man’s reign and would love for Seamus to beat him for his grand slam.

Gunther doesn’t miss.

Gunther doesn’t miss. He should honestly hold the IC title for several more months and I wouldn’t mind (mostly so he could feud with a debuting Ilja Dragunov and drop it to him).

I cannot overstate how much I love Gunther

I cannot overstate how much I love Gunther. His style is the perfect fusion of styles for modern wrestling.

He can keep up with anyone but his offense is so simple and devastating looking, along with being pretty airtight in terms of psychology.

Absolutely can’t wait for his eventual world title matches.

I really want their Summerslam match

I really want their Summerslam match to have a stipulation that isn’t some basic loser leaves.

On girl fashion note, was wondering when she’d wear this version of the adidas suit lol was surprised she wore the standard black one first.

2006 DX Return

Rated 5.0 out of 5
August 9, 2023

It’s completely juvenile and low effort and yet I really do think you need that in wrestling. So many people I knew in school became long term fans because of cheesy and stupid stuff in the 2006 DX Return

WWE Raw 8/7/23: SummerSlam Fallout

The fallout from SummerSlam continued on Raw as Seth Rollins, Cody Rhodes, and Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Judgment Day in a six-man tag team match. The match was chaotic from the start, with all six men hitting big moves on each other. In the end, it was Nakamura who got the pinfall victory for his team after hitting Damian Priest with the Kinshasa.

After the match, Rollins and Rhodes celebrated their victory together. However, their moment was cut short when Edge appeared on the big screen. Edge congratulated Rollins and Rhodes on their victory, but he also warned them that Judgment Day would be back. He then challenged them to a rematch at the next pay-per-view, Extreme Rules.

Elsewhere on Raw, Chad Gable defeated Tommaso Ciampa, Matt Riddle, and Ricochet in a Fatal 4-Way match to become the new No. 1 contender for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Gable was dominant throughout the match, using his technical skills to outmaneuver his opponents. In the end, he scored the victory after hitting Ciampa with a German suplex into the corner.

Gable will now face Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship at the next pay-per-view. Gunther is the current champion, and he has been on a dominant run since winning the title at SummerSlam. However, Gable is a talented wrestler with a lot of momentum, and he will be a tough test for Gunther.

In other action on Raw, Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Bronson Reed, Shayna Baszler defeated Zoey Stark, and The New Day defeated The Viking Raiders.

Overall, Raw was a solid show that featured some exciting matches and big moments. The fallout from SummerSlam continued, and the stage is set for some great matches in the weeks to come.

Here are some of the key takeaways from Raw 8/7/23:

  • Seth Rollins, Cody Rhodes, and Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Judgment Day in a six-man tag team match.
  • Chad Gable defeated Tommaso Ciampa, Matt Riddle, and Ricochet in a Fatal 4-Way match to become the new No. 1 contender for the WWE Intercontinental Championship.
  • Gunther will defend the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Chad Gable at the next pay-per-view.

  • Shayna Baszler defeated Zoey Stark.
  • The New Day defeated The Viking Raiders.

I’m particularly excited for the match between Seth Rollins, Cody Rhodes, and Shinsuke Nakamura against Judgment Day.
