This week in WWE was a big one, with Roman Reigns and LA Knight signing the contract for their match at Crown Jewel, and Rhea Ripley challenging Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship in a house show main event.

SmackDown

The night kicked off with a contract signing for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship match between Roman Reigns and LA Knight at Crown Jewel. The two men exchanged words, with Knight vowing to finally defeat Reigns and take the title away from him. Reigns, of course, was confident in his own abilities and dismissed Knight as a threat.

After the contract signing, the show moved on to a match between The Street Profits and The Latino World Order (Santos Escobar and Rey Mysterio). The match was a close one, but in the end, The Street Profits were able to pick up the victory.

In the next match, Bianca Belair defeated Sonya Deville in a singles match. Belair is currently the number one contender for the SmackDown Women’s Championship, and she looked good in this match ahead of her title challenge.

Later in the show, John Cena made a special appearance. Cena cut a promo about his love for WWE and the fans, and he also talked about his upcoming match against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39. Cena said that he is coming to WrestleMania to take the title away from Reigns and reclaim his place as the top dog in WWE.

The main event of the show saw Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa defeat Drew McIntyre and Sheamus in a tag team match. The match was a good one, but it was clear that Reigns and Sikoa were the better team. After the match, Reigns and Sikoa attacked McIntyre and Sheamus, leaving them both lying in the ring.

House Show

In the main event of the house show in Cologne, Germany, Rhea Ripley challenged Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. The match was a close one, but in the end, Reigns was able to retain his title.

Analysis

This week in WWE was a big one for both Roman Reigns and Rhea Ripley. Reigns signed the contract for his match against LA Knight at Crown Jewel, and he also retained his title against Drew McIntyre and Sheamus on SmackDown. Ripley, on the other hand, challenged Reigns for the title in a house show main event, and she came very close to winning.

Ripley’s performance against Reigns was particularly impressive. She showed that she is capable of hanging with the best in the world, and she even had Reigns on the ropes at a few points. It’s clear that Ripley is a future star in WWE, and it’s only a matter of time before she wins her first world championship.

As for Reigns, he continues to dominate the WWE landscape. He is now the longest-reigning Undisputed WWE Universal Champion of all time, and he is showing no signs of slowing down. It will be interesting to see who he faces next, and how long he can hold on to the title.

Looking Ahead

Next week on SmackDown, Roman Reigns will defend the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against LA Knight. This should be a good match, and it will be interesting to see if Knight can finally defeat Reigns and take the title away from him.

Also next week, Rhea Ripley will face Sonya Deville in a rematch. Ripley will be looking to get revenge for her loss on SmackDown, and Deville will be looking to prove that she can beat the number one contender for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.

Overall, it was a big week in WWE. Roman Reigns and Rhea Ripley were both in action, and they both impressed. It will be interesting to see what happens next week when SmackDown returns.

My Thoughts

I thought this week in WWE was a pretty good one. The SmackDown main event was a little predictable, but it was still a good match. I’m particularly interested to see what happens with Rhea Ripley next. She’s clearly a future star, and I’m excited to see her win her first world championship soon.

I’m also looking forward to the match between Roman Reigns and LA Knight at Crown Jewel. Knight has been one of the most impressive rising stars in WWE over the past year, and I think he has a good chance of defeating Reigns and taking the title away from him. It should be a good match, and I’m excited to see who comes out on top.
