DID YOU ENJOY AEW DYNAMITE ON MARCH 27TH 2024?

I love Swerve,

March 28, 2024

and I’m super hyped for his upcoming Championship match, but I’m gonna need the Swerve stomp to be set up faster or differently. The opponent sitting up on their ass watching it be setup isn’t doing it for me.

That pop-up powerbomb counter

March 28, 2024

into the Swerve stomp was some boner-inducing shit

Miles

That was one hell of a match. Great show from both competitors.

March 28, 2024

Other than the Jericho-Hook segment and Mercedes on commentary, great night. Quebec City, awesome job as a crowd. Lots of energy brought tonight.

Ezekiel

Love Swerve but I kinda miss the Swerve of a year ago

March 28, 2024

who was constantly unpredicable in the ring, never having the same match twice. Feels like he has settled into normative patterns now.

Waylon

There isn’t anything wrong with having a signature moveset.

March 28, 2024

Every big star needs a moveset to sell to the audience. My bigger issue is how much the stomp from the top rope really kills my suspension of disbelief. It doesn’t matter who the opponent is, or how well the technical director switches camera angles to try and distract you, you just CANNOT unsee the wrestler on the mat scooting their butt into position to sit up and wait for the stomp. They’re almost always in the perfect situp position same distance from the turnbuckle every time, and then the director chooses to show the camera angle where you can clearly see the opponent’s face not groggy or dazed, but watching Swerve waiting for him to jump to take the move safely. All that time killed in doing the move really really hurts Swerve, especially when the rest of his moveset looks unpredictable and out of nowhere. It stands out like a sore thumb.

William

Takeshita has the best rope running,

March 28, 2024

elbow strike, german suplex, and powerbomb in the company.

Alpha.

Owen

Bret style is still the best way.

March 28, 2024

Crazy arguably the most technical wrestler of all-time, has one of the worst techniques for watching a match on the monitor back stage. I’m tempted to blame his neck injury and concussions on holding that neck position to watch his rivals matches on the monitor that way, not blame that piece of shit Bill Goldberg.

Samuel

Shibata still so fucking good

March 28, 2024

please NJPW let this man back in

Carter

somehow

March 28, 2024

WWE being hot again makes AEW feel (in a nostalgia way) like WCW, somehow. And I talk this like a compliment.

Theodore

Ospreay is a machine.

March 28, 2024

I dont know how he has this level of athleticism.

Logan

This is probably the least amount of crack

March 28, 2024

Ospreay has been on in his matches, he actually looks human here lol.

David

This match doesn’t just fuck,

March 28, 2024

I think this match impregnated me

Jayden

Shibata’s still so good.

March 28, 2024

Wish this was better.

Julian

Man,

March 28, 2024

wrestlers really suck at choke holds lol

Luke

You know it would be

March 28, 2024

okay to just have your star run through someone instead of being no sold an entire match for 20 minutes

Alexander

That looked like

March 28, 2024

he landed straight on the top of his head

Grayson

Dumbass canadians

March 28, 2024

not appreciating this the way it should be tbh

Elias

Lmao the basement trolls are out in force tonight,

March 28, 2024

that’s how you know AEW is onto something

Jack

My heart can’t take

March 28, 2024

March 28, 2024

Josiah

March 28, 2024

Michael

It’s magical to see

March 28, 2024

that Shibata still has it man, hope he gets to go on a run after the few last losses

Jackson

bruh, incredible.

March 28, 2024

That match deserved a better audience.

Kai

full time in AEW?

March 28, 2024

Has Ospreay used the Stormbreaker once since going full time in AEW?

Theo

Ospreay didn’t land on his head,

March 28, 2024

but he sold like he did. Another reason why highfliers are nowhere in his league and I hate the comparisons. Like Sammy or some shit would do that lol

Benjamin

Incredible match

March 28, 2024

but why did this crowd shit on shibata lmao didnt react for one of his moves

Maverick

100m he deserves it

March 28, 2024

March 28, 2024

I’m not understanding how the hidden blade isn’t knocking you the fuck out

Henry

Badass

March 28, 2024

Shibata with the Tsuji type finish of looking the hidden blade in the eyes before eating it.

AEW Dynamite March 27th, 2024: A Gateway to Glory in Quebec City

The echoes of steel chairs and the roar of the crowd haven’t even faded from the echoes of Revolution, but AEW Dynamite is back with a vengeance on March 27th, live from the Centre Videotron in Quebec City! This week’s episode promises a thrilling mix of in-ring action, grudge match payoffs, and a crucial step on the road to the prestigious AEW World Tag Team Championship. Prepare yourselves, wrestling fans, because Dynamite is about to electrify Quebec City with a night that will leave you buzzing!

A Technical Masterclass: Ospreay vs. Shibata

The wrestling world holds its breath as two titans of in-ring excellence collide. Will Ospreay, the “Aerial Assassin,” known for his death-defying maneuvers and high-flying offense, will face off against the legendary Katsuyori Shibata, the “Strong Style” personified. This match is a clash of philosophies. Ospreay, a daredevil pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in the ring, versus Shibata, a master of strikes and technical prowess, known for his brutal yet beautiful execution.

This isn’t just a match; it’s a statement. Ospreay, fresh off a victory at Revolution, needs momentum before his highly anticipated battle against Bryan Danielson at AEW Dynasty. A win against the stoic Shibata would solidify his claim as a top contender. However, underestimating Shibata is a recipe for disaster. The “Shibata Style” is a test of pure resilience, demanding unwavering focus and grit from his opponents. This match promises to be a chess match played at breakneck speed, a technical tapestry woven with high-impact strikes and gravity-defying maneuvers. Get ready for a clinic on in-ring storytelling, where every move carries weight and the tension is as thick as the Quebec air.

Swerve in Motion: Strickland Takes on Takeshita

Move over, cruiserweights, because Swerve Strickland and Konosuke Takeshita are about to bring the big man action! Swerve, the enigmatic and charismatic leader of Swerve’s House, boasts an impressive win record and an unmatched swagger. However, this week, he faces a mountain of a challenge in the form of Takeshita, the “Deathmatch Samurai.” Takeshita is a powerhouse wrestler known for his brutal strikes and surprising agility for his size. The juxtaposition of styles alone promises an exciting encounter.

Swerve’s quickness and aerial offense will need to be on point to navigate Takeshita’s devastating strikes and throws. Can Swerve use his agility to outmaneuver the “Deathmatch Samurai,” or will Takeshita overpower him with sheer force? This match is a wildcard, with the potential to steal the show. Expect high-impact moments, near falls that will have you on the edge of your seat, and a display of athleticism that defies Takeshita’s imposing stature.

Tag Team Turbulence: Young Bucks vs. Private Party

The stakes get even higher as the AEW World Tag Team Championship Tournament rolls on! This week, the veterans, the Young Bucks, lock horns with the high-flying duo, Private Party. The Young Bucks, arguably the most decorated tag team in AEW history, are hungry to reclaim the gold they once held. However, their path to glory won’t be easy. Private Party, with their youthful exuberance and daredevil tactics, have proven themselves to be a force to be reckoned with.

This match promises to be a high-octane affair, filled with fast-paced exchanges, innovative double-team maneuvers, and moments that will push the boundaries of what tag team wrestling can be. The Young Bucks will rely on their experience and veteran savvy, while Private Party will aim to outmaneuver them with their athleticism and fearless approach. This match is more than just a quarter-final; it’s a clash of legacies. Will the Young Bucks prove they still have what it takes, or will Private Party shock the world and take a major step towards tag team immortality?

Beyond the Bell: What Else to Expect

The action doesn’t stop in the ring! With the fallout from Revolution still fresh, expect to see interviews, promos, and backstage segments that will further fuel ongoing rivalries and plant the seeds for future clashes. Here are a few potential storylines to keep an eye on:

  • The Pinnacle’s Response: MJF and his crew suffered a major setback at Revolution. Will they regroup and address their recent failures, or will this ignite internal conflict within the dominant faction?
  • Britt Baker’s Next Move: After losing the AEW Women’s World Championship
