Trey bearhill does mongolian chops and back rakes as signature moves and he looks, wrestles and promos like he’s out of 1973

Tonight was a great night of womens content.

Lash and Wren Sinclair had a good short match. I’m glad that Lash and Jakara will seemingly be fueding with Fallon and Wren, they have been on the backburner of Meta-Four for the most part other than Lash’s run before Deadline last year. More fueds with them is good. Wren did a good job at playing the nervous newbie while Fallon was her typical self, being a good presence who isn’t afraid to throw down when the time is right. Satisfied all around.

Jaida and Adrianna are having a world of good for them with how they’re being introduced with male factions, I like it.

Elektra vs Lola got messy tonight and I loved it. Elektra being annoyed with Arianna then coming out and spitting fire at Lola was fun. Lola’s ass shaking antics are truly becoming a main antagonistic force on NXT to our heroes, it’s kinda funny. My one complaint is that we never really saw Lola really be fake “happy to be here” like Elektra said she was on TV, but whatever. Their brawl at the end was good and I hope their match is good as a swan song to Lopez on NXT.

I said I wasn’t sure about Brinley Reece last week, but I liked her segment this week. The overly toxic positive character hasn’t been done very often, and it could really work. Her and Arianna Grace interacting with them both being fake positive could be really fun.

Blair vs Karmen was a solid bounceback for Davenport. Not much else to say.

Jacy the queen of facial expressions is back in full force tonight, her reactions to Thea and Riley was funny. I wonder if she really can save Chase U atp, it seems bleak but that girl she talked to last week could come in clutch.

Lyra and Roxanne’s contract signing before Tatum showed up was whatever. I kinda liked how chill Ava was lol, her normalness made me enjoy her more weirdly enough. Tatum attacking Roxanne is what I wanted to see, she’s the most interesting part of this storyline and the breaking point of all this will happen at Venegance Day I assume. Good episode overall. The battle royal last week set the tone of the rivalries, the only one that didn’t really develop this week was Kiana/Izzi/Kelani’s thing and I’m sure that will come into play next week.

Ezra

It was all performed well and stuff,

January 24, 2024

I’m finding I don’t particularly care for this story. Mainly because Lyra has not been built up with nearly long enough or reliably dominant of a reign for Roxanne to think she’s gotten on autopilot and looking past opponents, and Roxanne has been consistently overpowered for so long that I don’t buy the “oh I struggled, what’ll you do when YOU have to struggle” thing just because she was injured and then lost a couple times before she stopped losing again… the Tatum stuff is maybe enough spice to help though.

Feels like this episode was written to show-off the new gen of NXT,

Rated 3.0 out of 5
January 24, 2024

Many of the people who weren’t getting focused have gotten a shine. Lexis King, Jakara and Lash, Lola, Briggs, Tatum, OTM & Scrypts, and then the newbies like Rizzo, Wren, Trey, Riley, Femi, and Brinley. Transitioning from the old guard of Bron, Melo, and Lyra to the new gen.

I’ll admit not all acts are there yet, Bearhill needs something, but lots of these have bright future. Lexis, Rizzo, Lola, Wren, Briggs, and Femi are the ones likely dominating NXT this year.

NXT Vengeance Day Heats Up: A Night of Dusty Delights and Contract Chaos!

The Capitol Wrestling Center crackled with anticipation on January 23rd, 2024, as NXT set the stage for Vengeance Day with a night of electrifying action. The echoes of Dusty Rhodes’ spirit reverberated through the arena, fueling the fire in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic semifinals and igniting the flames of championship aspirations in the Women’s Title contract signing. Buckle your seatbelts, NXT fans, because we’re about to dive headfirst into the chaos and glory of this NXT spectacular!

Dusty Dreams Take Flight: Axioms & Frazers Soar, Breakker & Corbin Dominate

The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic semifinals soared to breathtaking heights as Axiom and Nathan Frazer, the definition of aerial artistry, took on the unlikely alliance of Bron Breakker and Baron Corbin. The match was a symphony of contrasting styles. Frazer and Axiom, with their gravity-defying moonsaults and synchronized attacks, danced across the ring like celestial bodies. Breakker, a walking mountain of muscle, countered with earth-shattering slams and Corbin, the opportunistic veteran, lurked in the shadows, ready to strike.

The climax was a masterclass in storytelling. Frazer, battered but defiant, scaled the turnbuckles, a phoenix rising from the ashes of punishment. His moonsault attempt was met by Corbin’s mid-air powerbomb, a brutal display of dominance that sent the crowd into a frenzy. In the end, Breakker and Corbin, united by their hunger for gold, emerged victorious, their contrasting strengths proving too much for the high-flying duo. The question remains: can their uneasy alliance survive the crucible of the finals?

Lyra & Roxanne: A Contract Signing With Barbed Wire and Burning Bridges

The tension in the ring was palpable as NXT Women’s Champion, Lyra Valkyria, and her challenger, Roxanne Perez, met for the official contract signing. Valkyria, draped in regal attire, exuded an aura of icy confidence. Perez, the fiery underdog, crackled with raw energy. The air crackled with unspoken animosity, a storm brewing before the main event.

The signing itself was a masterclass in verbal warfare. Valkyria, with her Shakespearean pronouncements, painted Perez as a naive upstart, destined to be crushed under the weight of her reign. Perez, fueled by youthful defiance, countered with a potent mix of trash talk and heartfelt passion, declaring her intention to shatter Valkyria’s icy facade. As the contract was signed, not with ink, but with a barbed wire pen, the lines were drawn. Vengeance Day won’t just be a match, it will be a war for the soul of the NXT Women’s Championship.

Other Bouts That Stole the Show: A Night of NXT Brilliance

The NXT card wasn’t just about the main events. Every match was a microcosm of excellence, showcasing the depth and talent of NXT’s roster. Lexis King, with her captivating blend of power and grace, dispatched Trey Bearhill in a dominant display. Dragon Lee, the masked marvel, unleashed a whirlwind of kicks and flips against SCRYPTS, leaving the crowd breathless. Blair Davenport, the Queen of the Castle, continued her reign of dominance with a decisive victory over Karmen Petrovic. And Lash Legend, proving she’s more than just a loud mouth, put on a surprisingly technical clinic against Wren Sinclair.

Supernova Sessions with Lola Vice: A Glimpse into NXT’s Future

Adding a touch of whimsy to the night was the latest episode of Supernova Sessions, hosted by the ever-enigmatic Lola Vice. Tonight’s guest was the masked luchador, Valentina, whose cryptic pronouncements and acrobatic prowess left the audience wanting more. Is Valentina a friend or foe? Only time will tell, but one thing is certain: she’s a force to be reckoned with in the ever-evolving landscape of NXT.

The Road to Vengeance Day: Stakes Raised, Bets Hedged

As the final bell rang on NXT January 23rd, the landscape of Vengeance Day was clearer, yet more perilous than ever. Champions were challenged, alliances were tested, and new stars rose on the horizon. The air crackles with anticipation, and the question on everyone’s lips is: who will emerge victorious when NXT descends into the chaos of Vengeance Day?

This is just the beginning, NXT fans. The road to Vengeance Day is paved with twists, turns, and jaw-dropping moments. Stay tuned, stay excited, and prepare to witness the future of professional wrestling unfold before your very eyes!

NXT Explodes with Vengeance in Sight: A Preview of January 23rd’s Can’t-Miss Mayhem!

The Capitol Wrestling Center crackles with anticipation. NXT, the breeding ground for future legends, gears up for a night that promises to be a seismic tremor on the road to Vengeance Day. With championship contracts on the line, alliances tested, and grudges simmering, buckle up, because January 23rd’s NXT is a high-octane collision course where dreams collide and destinies are rewritten.

Dusty Dreams Collide: Bron Breakker & Baron Corbin vs. Axiom & Nathan Frazer

The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic reaches a fever pitch as the unlikely pairing of Bron Breakker, the NXT Champion and personified hurricane of muscle, and Baron Corbin, the grizzled veteran with a chip on his shoulder the size of Texas, face off against the high-flying duo of Axiom and Nathan Frazer. This match is a clash of titans – Breakker, a walking storm of power slams and suplexes, versus Axiom’s otherworldly agility and Frazer’s lightning-quick strikes. Corbin, meanwhile, brings a cunning veteran’s edge, but can his pragmatism bridge the gap between the two wildly different styles? The tension is palpable, the stakes sky-high. Will Breakker and Corbin find the unlikely synergy to claim the Dusty Rhodes glory, or will Axiom and Frazer’s aerial assault prove too much for even the most unlikely of alliances?

Contract Chaos: Lyra Valkyria vs. Roxanne Perez

The NXT Women’s Championship contract hangs heavy in the air as the reigning Valkyrie, Lyra Valkyria, and the fiery underdog, Roxanne Perez, come face-to-face in a contract signing. Valkyria, a ruthless queen of the ring, has dominated NXT with her icy precision and punishing power. But Perez, the young upstart with a never-say-die attitude, has defied the odds, clawing her way to the top with her boundless energy and innovative offense. This signing won’t just be a formality – it’s a declaration of war. Will Valkyria use her experience to manipulate and intimidate, or will Perez’s raw passion ignite a brawl that sets Vengeance Day ablaze?

Brawls and Beyond: A Feast for the Furious

The undercard is a smorgasbord of simmering rivalries ready to boil over. Lexis King, the self-proclaimed “Queen of NXT,” returns to the ring after her brutal confrontation with Dijak, seeking retribution against Trey Bearhill, the man caught in the crosshairs of her wrath. Can Bearhill weather the storm of Lexis’ fury, or will he be another victim in her quest for dominance? Meanwhile, the ever-enigmatic Blair Davenport locks horns with the fiery Karmen Petrovic, a clash of styles that promises a technical showcase with a simmering undercurrent of animosity. And in a battle of diametrically opposed personalities, the braggadocious Lash Legend collides with the enigmatic Wren Sinclair, a clash that could erupt into chaos or reveal hidden depths within both competitors.

Supernova Sessions: Lola Vice Seeks Answers

Noam Dar’s Supernova Sessions welcomes Lola Vice, the woman caught in the fallout of Elektra Lopez’s brutal elimination from the NXT Women’s Championship Battle Royal. Will Lola shed light on the events that led to her partner’s disqualification, or will the wounds be too raw to expose? Can Dar navigate the emotional minefield and extract truth from the wreckage, or will the session ignite further flames of discord within the NXT women’s division?

Vengeance Day Looms: A Night of Reckoning and Revelation

January 23rd’s NXT is more than just a show – it’s a crossroads, a crucible where destinies are forged and grudges are settled. With the road to Vengeance Day heating up, alliances will be tested, rivalries will climax, and the landscape of NXT will be irrevocably altered. So, tune in, NXT faithful, and prepare for a night where dreams collide, legends are born, and the future of NXT hangs in the balance. This is NXT, and on January 23rd, it’s going to explode.
