DID YOU ENJOY WWE RAW ON APRIL 15TH 2024?

Very good show

March 11, 2025

I think his Ic run being so long hurt him as a credible world champion. It’s like he fought all the same guys and crushed them for a mid card belt now we are supposed to believe they are an actual challenge to him as a world champion? Lol when they took the intercontinental title off of him they should have moved him to SmackDown and put a new list of challengers in front of him. And moved Cody and the WWE championship to raw

Ezra

Very good episode,

March 11, 2025

imagine being deluded enough to think a multi billion dollar company with guys who literally have wrestling in their blood hot shoted a heel turn storyline because they booked themselves into a corner. are you serious dude? that is the most ridiculous thing i have read in a minute lol. good luck bro.

Rowan

Great episode.

March 11, 2025

Punk/Cody was there for the taking and Cena could’ve gone up against Gunther.

They knee jerked a heel turn because they booked themselves into a nepotism corner

Hudson

Very good show

March 11, 2025

honestly don’t get the hate. like sure, there’s no major story here YET. But Punk/Rollins/Reigns has a lot of potential to be a high quality match. I’m legit looking forward to it and love that these three have wound up in a match together.

Willie

Great episode.

March 11, 2025

The triple threat match between them at Wrestlemania is gonna be awesome. Super stoked for this match

Gary

Great show

March 10, 2025

Let’s mention the women’s match in every live/hate challenge. Easiest task for this group of “journalists” ever. Each one of these love/hates are more embarrassing than the last. We get it, women’s wrestling is amazing and should main event every show and if a women’s match is bad it’s because where it is on the card or the booking it’s never the talent, all the women are top tier wrestlers.

Gerald

Very good show

March 10, 2025

You wanna find out who the real simps and shills are? Mark down anybody who defends that main event match! Even the diehard AEW fans are crapping on that main event. It was terrible.

This Moxley stuff is stinking out the entire show and the dude seems to think he is Brock Lesnar.

The sad part is that this wasn’t a terrible show overall and with all things taken into an account. But at the end of the day, a bad ending can ruin a whole show for a lot of people. “Game of Thrones season 8” style.

Frank

Great show

March 10, 2025

So the crux of it all is that the PLE started strong…then ended with a sour belch.

The fans most remember how you left them and the fans are going to remember this show with a resounding “bleh”!

And any casual fan who watched with their buddies who are more diehard fans, may have left the viewing saying aloud, “That guy was pretty good. He should go to WWE”.

Evelyn

Great show.

March 10, 2025

I’ve said before but I think one of the issues here is that Tony is a massive fan of NJPW and often looks to emulate their PPV card structure. NJPW cards typically build to a climax with the big matches back to back and tend not to feature cool down matches or spots. Problem is western audiences haven’t been conditioned for that over the last 40 years, so often results in burnout. Personally I would have laid out the card like below giving breathing spaces, opening with the Steel Cage match and building to the Hollywood Ending as the main event.

Storm vs. May

Mox vs. Cope

Hangman vs. MJF

Hurt Syndicate vs. Outrunners

Takeshita vs. Omega

Swerve vs. Ricochet

Okada vs. King

Mone vs. Watanabe

Ospreay vs. Fletcher

Willie

Great episode.

March 10, 2025

Very good show, but the ending is what people remember. WWE ended Elimination Chamber with a huge heel turn. AEW ended Revolution with that abominable ending.

it doesn’t totally undo a great show, but it might have done more harm than good.

Christian

Very good show

March 10, 2025

I can already see Trips the mark statues, Trips the mark with a 20 minutes speech, the camera focusing onTrips the mark every 30 seconds when he is on the crowd.

Oliver

Great show.

March 10, 2025

I’m glad they are bringing it back to a nice venue. The idea of hosting it immediately after Smackdown is insane. Why not put a highlight show or broadcast the Hall of Fame instead of airing Smackdown that week.

Noah

Montreal Mayhem: A Deep Dive into WWE RAW 4/15/24

The echoes of WrestleMania 40 have barely faded, yet the WWE juggernaut rolls on. This Monday night, RAW sets its sights on the electric Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada, a city steeped in professional wrestling history. With a champion returning home, a number one contender seeking vengeance, and simmering rivalries ready to explode, RAW 4/15/24 promises a night of high-octane action that will leave fans buzzing.

Zayn’s Title Reign Begins in Familiar Territory

The Montreal native, Sami Zayn, shocked the world by capturing the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania. Now, he steps into the squared circle for his first title defense, and it happens to be in his hometown. The pressure is immense, but for Zayn, it’s also a dream come true.

Montreal holds a special place in WWE lore, and for Zayn, it carries even more weight. This is the city where the infamous “Montreal Screwjob” took place, a moment etched in wrestling history. Will the hometown crowd shower Zayn with adoration, or will there be a hint of skepticism, a lingering fear of another twist of fate?

Zayn’s challenger is the ever-resourceful Chad Gable. Gable’s technical prowess is undeniable, and he’ll be looking to exploit any vulnerability Zayn might have in this emotionally charged environment. Can Zayn overcome the pressure and the hometown expectations, or will Gable dethrone the champion on the biggest stage imaginable for Zayn?

Uso Seeks Blood, Balor Stands Guard

Jey Uso’s victory in the fatal four-way match last week cemented his place as the number one contender for Damian Priest’s World Heavyweight Championship. However, before Uso gets his shot at the gold, he has to go through Priest’s Judgment Day partner, the formidable Finn Balor.

This match promises to be a brutal affair. Uso is fueled by a burning desire for revenge after Priest dethroned his brother, Jimmy Uso, at WrestleMania. Balor, on the other hand, is a seasoned veteran who thrives in chaos. Expect a hard-hitting, fast-paced encounter that could leave both men battered and bruised.

The outcome of this match carries significant weight. A Uso victory would send a powerful message to Priest, a declaration of intent from the challenger. However, if Balor emerges victorious, it will not only establish Judgment Day’s dominance but also plant seeds of doubt in Uso’s mind as he approaches his championship match.

LeRae and Hartwell: A New Beginning or a Bitter End?

The recent weeks have seen a shift in the dynamic between Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell. LeRae’s scathing criticism of Maxxine Dupri, coupled with her undeniable in-ring skills, has sparked a newfound fire in the team. This Monday, they clash with Dupri and her imposing ally, Ivy Nile.

This tag team match is more than just a battle for supremacy. For LeRae and Hartwell, it’s a chance to prove their doubters wrong and silence the whispers of discord. Dupri, on the other hand, needs a statement victory to regain some momentum after facing harsh criticism from fans and LeRae alike.

The tension between LeRae and Hartwell is undeniable. Will their newfound aggression solidify their bond, or will the pressure expose cracks in their foundation? This match could be a turning point for the duo, either reigniting their flame or signaling the beginning of the end for their partnership.

Beyond the Bell: Stories to Watch

The Montreal edition of RAW promises more than just marquee matches. Several ongoing storylines are simmering just beneath the surface, waiting to erupt.

Rhea Ripley’s Rematch: Ripley, still reeling from her shocking loss to a returning superstar at WrestleMania, will be looking to bounce back. Who her opponent will be remains to be seen, but one thing’s for sure: The Nightmare is far from finished.

The Judgment Day’s Agenda: With Uso out of the picture for the night, how will Priest and Balor utilize this opportunity? Will they target another challenger for the World Heavyweight Championship or unleash their wrath on a different Superstar?

The Women’s Division Heats Up: Beyond the LeRae-Hartwell-Dupri-Nile clash, the women’s division is brimming with talent. Who will step up and make a statement on RAW this week? Will there be any surprise challengers emerging for the Raw Women’s Championship?

Montreal’s Voice: The Montreal crowd is legendary for its passionate support and ruthless criticism. How will they react to the returning champion, Zayn? Will they embrace the hometown hero or rain down jeers upon him?

RAW Fallout: Shocking Title Vacancy, New Tag Team Champions, and a Brutal Beatdown in Montreal

The WWE Universe in Montreal was electric on April 15th, 2024, as RAW delivered a night of unexpected twists, hard-fought battles, and championship implications. From a title relinquishment to a vicious post-match attack, RAW provided moments that will have fans buzzing for weeks to come. So, let’s unpack the most noteworthy events that went down in the heart of Canada.

Rhea Ripley Relinquishes the Women’s Title: A Cloud of Uncertainty

The show opened with a heavy heart as Rhea Ripley, the seemingly unstoppable force, addressed the crowd. Still reeling from the brutal assault by Liv Morgan at WrestleMania XL, Ripley announced a decision that sent shockwaves through the arena: she was vacating the Women’s World Title.

Ripley, her voice heavy with emotion, spoke about the toll the attack had taken on her physically and mentally. She stated her determination to heal and return stronger, but for now, she couldn’t compete at the level the championship deserved. This heartfelt moment left a cloud of uncertainty hanging over the women’s division. With the title now vacant, a question loomed large: who would step up to claim the throne?

A New Dawn: #DIY Reunite and Reign as World Tag Team Champions

Triple H’s presence on RAW wasn’t just for show. The Cerebral Assassin made a monumental announcement – the return of the coveted World Tag Team Championships! This legendary title, held by iconic duos of the past, was back, and a tournament was declared to determine the new champions.

The night’s main event became a thrilling four-way contest featuring The New Day, The Creed Brothers, #DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa), and the unlikely pairing of Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins. The match was a captivating display of tag team warfare, filled with high-flying maneuvers, innovative teamwork, and near falls.

In the end, nostalgia reigned supreme. #DIY, a team forged in the fiery crucible of NXT, pulled off a stunning victory. Gargano and Ciampa, their chemistry as refined as ever, hit their signature finisher, the Meeting in the Middle, to secure the win and become the first-ever World Tag Team Champions in this new era. The crowd erupted in a frenzy, a fitting tribute to the team’s enduring popularity.

Sibling Rivalry Reignited: Andrade Claims Victory over Dominik Mysterio

The Judgment Day’s “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio locked horns with Andrade in a match fueled by animosity. Dominik, still smarting from his betrayal by Andrade at WrestleMania XL, where Andrade chose to team with Ricochet over Mysterio’s father Rey, sought vengeance.

The action was intense, with Dominik unleashing a viciousness rarely seen from him. He targeted Andrade with a devastating Canadian Destroyer on the ring apron, leaving the crowd gasping. However, Andrade, the veteran of countless battles, proved he wasn’t done yet. He countered a 619 attempt with his signature Hammerlock DDT, the “Message,” to secure the pinfall victory.

The post-match scene was equally compelling. As Judgment Day members Damian Priest and JD McDonagh attempted to further punish Andrade, Ricochet emerged to make the save. This unexpected alliance between Andrade and Ricochet hints at a potential future rivalry within The Judgment Day, a development that promises intriguing storylines in the weeks to come.

Sami Zayn Retains, Chad Gable Loses His Cool

The Intercontinental Championship was on the line as Sami Zayn defended his title against the ever-aggressive Chad Gable. The match was a technical masterpiece, showcasing the grappling prowess of both competitors. Gable pushed Zayn to his limits, utilizing his amateur wrestling background to control the pace of the match for stretches.

However, Zayn’s experience and ring savvy ultimately proved too much. He countered Gable’s rolling German Suplex attempt with a Blue Thunder Bomb for a near fall. Finally, Zayn capitalized on a lapse in concentration from Gable, executing a perfectly timed Helluva Kick to retain his championship.

The story, however, didn’t end there. Enraged by the loss, Gable unleashed a brutal post-match assault on Zayn. He pummeled the champion with a flurry of strikes, seemingly possessed by a sense of unhinged rage. The scene was a stark reminder of Gable’s intensity and the lengths he’ll go to achieve his goals.

Other Show Highlights: Sheamus Conquers Ivar, Chelsea Green & Piper Niven Make a Statement

Candice LeRae & Indi Hartwell Prove Their Mettle

The Women’s division saw a spark of excitement with the tag team victory of Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell. This relatively new duo, known as “The Way,” faced off against the established team of Maxxine Dupri and Ivy Nile. The match was a fast-paced and energetic affair, showcasing the agility and teamwork of both teams.

Hartwell played a crucial role in securing the win. With the referee distracted, she landed a well-timed cheap shot on Dupri, allowing LeRae to capitalize with a pinning combination. This victory serves as a warning to the rest of the women’s tag team division that The Way is a force to be reckoned with, and their cunning tactics could pose a serious threat in the upcoming Women’s Tag Team Championship tournament.

Chelsea Green & Piper Niven Dominate the Competition

Another impressive display in the women’s division came from the team of Chelsea Green and Piper Niven. This newly formed duo, with their contrasting styles – Green’s technical brilliance and Niven’s brute strength – took on the well-coordinated team of Katana Chance and Kayden Carter.

The match was a display of power and precision. Green’s innovative maneuvers kept Chance and Carter on their toes, while Niven’s devastating clotheslines and slams left them reeling. In the end, Green and Niven emerged victorious with a powerful combination move, sending a message to the entire women’s roster that they are a team to watch.

Cody Rhodes Extends Gratitude, Jey Uso Gets a Message

Despite not competing in a match, Cody Rhodes made a significant appearance on RAW. Fresh off his emotional victory at WrestleMania XL, Rhodes addressed the Montreal crowd. He expressed his sincere gratitude to the fans for their unwavering support throughout his journey. He also acknowledged the crucial role played by those who stood by him during his darkest times, a veiled reference to those who helped him overcome the challenges posed by Seth Rollins.

Later in the night, Jey Uso found himself facing Finn Balor in a hard-fought encounter. The match was a back-and-forth affair, with both superstars showcasing their signature moves. However, it was Jey Uso who emerged victorious after a well-timed Superkick. Following the match, Damian Priest, representing The Judgment Day, entered the ring and confronted Uso. This interaction served as a reminder of the ongoing tension between The Usos and The Judgment Day, hinting at a potential future clash.

Looking Ahead: Questions and Anticipation

RAW on April 15th, 2024, left the WWE Universe with a plethora of questions and an insatiable appetite for more. The most pressing question undoubtedly surrounds the vacant Women’s Championship. Who will step up to claim the coveted title? Will a tournament be held, or will a chosen challenger emerge?

The return of the World Tag Team Championships and the victory of #DIY has ignited excitement in the tag team division. Fans can expect several intriguing matchups in the upcoming tournament, as established teams like The New Day and The Usos battle it out against rising stars like The Creed Brothers and potentially, Andrade and Ricochet.

The brutal display by Chad Gable after his loss to Sami Zayn raises questions about his future. Has frustration pushed him to a dangerous edge? Will he seek retribution against Zayn, or will he refocus his energy on another championship pursuit?

The Judgment Day’s actions throughout the night hint at potential internal struggles. Dominik Mysterio’s loss and the unexpected alliance between Andrade and Ricochet sow seeds of doubt within the group. Will their shared animosity towards The Usos be enough to hold them together, or will their individual ambitions lead to a fracturing of the group?

Conclusion: A Night of Twists and Turns

RAW on April 15th, 2024, was a night of unexpected developments and captivating in-ring action. From the emotional weight of a title relinquishment to the electrifying return of the World Tag Team Championships, the show delivered moments that will stay with fans for weeks to come. The upcoming weeks promise to be filled with high-stakes tournaments, grudge matches, and the potential for a new era in both the women’s and tag team divisions. With so many unanswered questions and storylines in motion, one thing is certain: the WWE Universe is eagerly anticipating the next chapter in this ever-evolving saga.
