CITY: Indianapolis, Indiana
VENUE: Gainbridge Fieldhouse
DID YOU ENJOY WWE FASTLANE ON OCTOBER 7TH 2023?
I love how triple h
explains nxt. Wwe nfl, nxt college football
i Just want to say
Shinsuke should’ve won
Overall a good show
But the fact that Shinsuke did everything short of pulling out a gun and straight up blowing Rollins head off but lost because Seth hit him with a move that has literally never won him a match is gonna sour me for a while
They really hate Nakamura
So Seth wins with the move everyone who has faced him has kick out?
Monday night with Shawn Michaels
Corporate Trips being the same guy who used to crack ass jokes on Monday night with Shawn Michaels is still jarring to me
can definately tell no bad blood on either side with Edge or WWE.
It was just a scenario where Edge wanted to do more and WWE didn’t see it in the cards. Part on good terms
Especially with that ending.
Shin not winning is criminal.
Priest must be giving Rhea a death stare right now if that wasn’t the time to cash-in.
They are really dragging this out. I don’t know how much longer they can keep this going. Survivor Series, maybe?
I’m sold on them as a tag team already tbh
Jey is slightly deranged, and Cody, professional as always
Seth after power bombing
Gunther dethroning Seth after power bombing him 5 times in a row is gonna hit like crack
that was good,
but also probably the most “nothing” WWE PPV of the year in terms of Things Happening. we need Reigns back and this JD dissension tease to actually go somewhere now.
If you aren’t watching this Cody/Jey conference –
it’s the funniest thing since CM Punk asked who considers themselves a journalist.
Having Shinsuke
Go 0-8 in world title matches is one of the greatest bookings travesties of all time.
press conference thread from now on
I hereby propose the mods make an official press conference thread from now on
Jey is definitely unscripted right now
At first I thought Cody’s vibe was off/weird but now I see Cody was just trying to be professional at first until Jey said fuck all that lol
Another PPV
Where Seth gets his ass kicked and yet still no cash in.
Damian knee spot was to give a reason why he doesn’t cash in.
They wanted it to make sense why he wouldn’t cash in on a battered champion.
If the long-term booking is Seth is wearing out his body,
who’s gonna be the person to “break” Seth? It’s gotta be Gunther right???
Nakamura is now 0-8 in televised WWE world title matches.
And a whopping 0-48 if you count house show matches.
Seth deserves a dominant reign after how his other world title reigns went.
But damn Shinsuke did so much in that match I thought he finally had it.
I know long title reigns have become the norm,
but this was the perfect opportunity to move the belt off Seth.
I wish they would just retire last man standing matches
Ninty Nine percent of the time its just the babyface getting the shit beat of them having a miracle standup against something no human should move from and then hitting a random move through a table to win after they’ve spent the past 20 minutes going through worse things.
Shinsuke achieved his goal
At the very least it would’ve been cool if neither man stood up at the end so Seth would still be champion but Shinsuke achieved his goal of beating him up so bad he couldn’t stand up
signed a salty shinsuke fan
For a guy who’s back is “holding on by a thread” Seth’s back seems pretty fucking invincible to me idk
Shinsuke is never gonna win a world title man
Kinshasa through the table should have been it
Really looking forward to the interactions.
Both Cody and Jey having a right to go between brands, namely SD, the week Roman comes back is mad interesting.
Honestly, this PPV/PLE was the weakest of the year.
Cody/Jey vs JD was good. Women’s title match was good. LWO vs Bobby+Profits was meh. Knight/Cena vs BL went on too long. And finally, Shinsuke should have won IMO.
Shinsuke shoulda won the belt
Iyo retains but since Charlotte had a tap out from Asuka the ref didn’t see, she’s gonna be still in the picture i guess
and who could have predicted Cody’s first title in his return to WWE would be tag team champion! but it’s happening!
Jey is once again a tag team champion!
Has anyone else noticed
That Damian Priest doesn’t allow his opponents to get a lot of offense in? I think it was particularly obvious (and annoying) during this match, but I have been noticing it as a pattern a lot lately. He cuts people off and interrupts sequences which has been a little frustrating to watch. I like him and think he deserves his spot, but it does come across as if he doesn’t want to be a team player sometimes. Anyone agree or disagree?
The show was pretty good.
I’m kind of bitter at how the main event ended… all that build was for nothing.. someone with a “beat up back” goes thru all this and still wins makes no sense at all.. that’s super cena type of booking
