iMPACT Wrestling Results: October 5, 2023
iMPACT Wrestling returned on October 5, 2023, with a stacked card featuring some of the biggest names in the company. The show kicked off with a thrilling Knockouts match between Killer Kelly and Tasha Steelz. Kelly was accompanied to the ring by Masha Slamovich, while Steelz had Deonna Purrazzo in her corner.
The match was back-and-forth throughout, with both wrestlers showcasing their impressive skills and athleticism. In the end, it was Steelz who emerged victorious after hitting Kelly with her Blackout finisher. The next match of the night was a Fans Revenge Strap Match between Bullet Club’s Ace & Bey Club (Chris Bey and Ace Austin) and John Skyler and Jai Vidal. The match was a brutal and bloody affair, with all four wrestlers using the straps to inflict pain on each other.
In the end, it was Ace & Bey Club who emerged victorious after Bey pinned Skyler after hitting him with the Art of Finesse. After the match, Ace and Bey continued to attack Skyler and Vidal until security arrived to break up the brawl.
The main event of the night was a highly anticipated match between Josh Alexander and Kon. Alexander was looking to build momentum ahead of his upcoming World Title match against Alex Shelley at Bound For Glory, while Kon was looking to make a statement.
The match was a hard-hitting and intense affair, with both wrestlers giving it their all. Alexander was in control for most of the match, but Kon refused to give up. In the end, it was Alexander who emerged victorious after hitting Kon with the C4 Spike.
After the match, Shelley came to the ring and confronted Alexander. Shelley argued that Alexander didn’t deserve to challenge him for the World Title, and that he should give up the opportunity. Alexander refused to back down, and the two men got into a heated argument.
Shelley eventually attacked Alexander with the Shell Shock finisher, leaving him lying in the ring. Shelley then stood over Alexander and raised the World Title in the air, sending a clear message to him and to the rest of the iMPACT Wrestling roster.
