I think if Crown Jewel is John Cena’s last match (for a while at least), I think the match will be a love letter to wrestling. John Cena will put on his greatest babyface performance in his career, 2018 Tanahashi style.
That opening was segment fire.
It’s been a long time since I’ve seen someone that kind of real time crowd control. After Crown Jewel they need to get Knight into a title feud that he’ll actually win. Maybe he’s the one that puts an end to Gunther reign?

The clean L.A Knight hype (putting people through tables, winning the main event and then getting the upper hand on Roman) is telling me that he’s going to get a severe beatdown at Crown Jewel to level it all out.
I used to roll my eyes at fans
I used to roll my eyes at fans who were melting down months ago because they couldn’t see the obvious Knight push coming. Dooming and glooming to the point it was ridiculous lol
But I still find myself impressed how well they’re presenting Knight. Of course in the new era of creative, the worry of the company fighting against fans is gone.
Still, they 100 percent responded to how over Knight is and have done a fantastic job as presenting him as this rising rocket. Absolutely added to to his top guy aura tonight. Kudos to Roman too because he sold Knight in multiple ways.
Thought it was another good episode.
Cena promo ran too long, and felt a tad redundant from last week, but that’s a nitpick.
Felt like a reset for Cedric. His match with Lee was given time and it delivered, video package was well done.
LA shined brightest tonight.

It’s cool seeing LA Knight being treated like a big deal though, a loss next week won’t hurt his momentum at all
I loved that opening Knight absolutely cooked him

Did it look like knight hurt his knee turning to look at Roman in the last spot? He turned fell, fell again getting up, then had a hard time getting up after the bft.

They desperately need to have him as the mouthpiece of Hurt Business 2.0 because Lashley just ain’t it as a promo man.

Contract Signing for Roman Reigns vs. LA Knight at WWE Crown Jewel
The show opened with Roman Reigns and LA Knight coming to the ring for their contract signing for their match at WWE Crown Jewel. Reigns was accompanied by Paul Heyman, while Knight was alone.
Heyman started things off by introducing Reigns as the Tribal Chief and the Head of the Table. He then talked about how Reigns has dominated SmackDown for over two years and how he is the greatest Undisputed WWE Universal Champion of all time.
Knight then took the mic and said that he is not here to kiss Reigns’ ass like everyone else. He said that he is here to take Reigns’ title and show the world that he is the new Head of the Table.
Reigns then stood up and said that Knight is just a delusional nobody who is living in his own little world. He said that Knight has no chance of beating him and that he is going to humiliate him at Crown Jewel.
Reigns and Knight then started to argue and things got heated. Heyman tried to calm Reigns down, but it was no use. Reigns eventually knocked Knight down to the mat and started to beat him up.
Jimmy Uso then ran down to the ring and attacked Knight. Reigns and Uso then double-teamed Knight and put a beating on him.
Reigns then grabbed the contract and signed it. He then held it up in the air and said that he is going to retain his title at Crown Jewel and prove to the world that he is the best.
Latino World Order (Santos Escobar & Rey Mysterio) vs. The Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) (w/ Bobby Lashley)
The next match was a tag team match between the Latino World Order (Santos Escobar & Rey Mysterio) and The Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) (w/ Bobby Lashley).
The match was back and forth for the most part, with both teams having their chances to win. In the end, it was the LWO that came out on top after Escobar defeated Ford with the Phantom Driver.
John Cena Appears
After the match, John Cena appeared on the TitanTron. He said that he is excited for his match against Solo Sikoa at WWE Crown Jewel and that he is ready to prove to the world that he is still one of the best.
Cena also said that he is proud to be a part of the WWE Universe and that he is grateful for all of the support that he has received over the years.
Bianca Belair Returns
The next segment was a backstage interview with Bianca Belair. Belair said that she is excited to be back on SmackDown and that she is ready to get back in the title picture.
Belair also said that she is not afraid of any woman in the WWE and that she is confident that she can win the Undisputed WWE Women’s Championship.
The Bloodline vs. The Brawling Brutes
The main event of the show was a six-man tag team match between The Bloodline (Roman Reigns, Jimmy Uso, and Jey Uso) and The Brawling Brutes (Sheamus, Ridge Holland, and Butch).
The match was a brutal affair, with both teams giving it their all. In the end, it was The Bloodline that came out on top after Reigns defeated Sheamus with the Spear.
After the match, The Bloodline stood tall in the ring as the crowd booed them.
