DID YOU ENJOY WWE SMACKDOWN ON NOVEMBER 24TH 2023?

Damage Control winning

November 25, 2023

Any hope of Damage Control winning the war games match tomorrow just went down the drain. Becky and Charlotte are gonna come together to take home the win tomorrow

Ryan

The women have main evented every Smackdown since Crown Jewel, that’s cool.

November 25, 2023

At first I didn’t really care for the possibility of the Becky and Charlotte stuff being explored but idk, seeing everything this week made me remember how iconic they are. They helped change women’s wrestling with Sasha and Bayley in NXT, debuted on MR together in Team PCB, they fought in 2016, became friendly again in 2017, then had their iconic 2018 and they main evented Wrestlemania together. It’s been years since they started and they’re legends now, and everything surrounding the alleged backstage drama and falling out makes seeing them together mean more. I liked their story tonight, even if they lost. (Which made it more interesting but still)

Becky and Charlotte vs Bayley and Asuka was good. I wish it was Kairi instead of Bayley though, KW reuniting would’ve been great especially as it would’ve been against the women they beat in the main event of TLC 2019. Kairi winning against CharLynch also would’ve done a lot more for her than it did for Bayley.

The duality of Shotzi tonight was so weird. Her “crazy!!!!!” promo at the start was really… not the best, but then her backstage promo with Charlotte felt really genuine. We never saw Charlotte’s comments on the haircut, I wonder if what we heard was something that happened irl. That one segment did more to explain their friendship than them beating the tag champions a few weeks ago lol.

Minor complaint but Kairi’s return feels like it could’ve been a bigger deal, she feels like the least important person involved in this match and I include Dakota Kai in that statement.

Jeffrey

3 great tag matches tonight

November 25, 2023

Knight not being in the Survivor Series card is disappointing and the dude is still over AF

Heel Santos is so good another banger promo from him love his ferocity ( Dragon Lee vs Escobar is gonna be a banger)

Great main event 🔥 Bayley pinning Becky didn’t expect that

Edward

I’m really not sure 🤔 excited for SS!

November 25, 2023

Go home Maths says team Bianca will win but I’m really not sure 🤔 excited for SS!

Jason

damage control really needs to win tomorrow,

November 25, 2023

hell even during the main event they hardly got any offense in.

JD probably loses, but man if damage control loses tomorrow night…..they don’t need to lose wargames to kick out bayley.

Ronald

I’m assuming Alba and Isla’s curse storyline is 100% dropped at this point,

November 25, 2023

it hasnt progressed in a month… ugh their call up has been horrible, who backstage has it out for them? 😭 I hope they either send them back to NXT and bring the tag titles back, or they get moved to Raw so they could fued with teams like Candice/Indi, Tegan/Natalya, or Katana/Kayden.

Timothy

Charlotte and Bayley still don’t actually like each other”.

November 25, 2023

I like that they’re not insulting intelligence for once and actually reminding that “hey, Charlotte and Bayley still don’t actually like each other”.

Brian

Said it in the live thread and I will say it here.

November 25, 2023

Damage CTRL absolutely needs the win tomorrow. They shouldn’t pull the trigger on Damage CTRL dissolving (or Bayley being kicked out) until closer to Mania.

But I have a feeling the superfaces (and Shotzi) are winning which sucks ass.

Kevin

Hope all is well with him. (Yeah)

November 25, 2023

LA Knights promos have been uncharacteristically shakey of late.

Kenneth

That tag title match was awful.

November 25, 2023

Not only was it more ads than actual match, but the little action we saw had super sluggish exchanges between Priest and the Profits that seemed to be out of place a lot… either he was off tonight, or they have no chemistry. Even Balor couldn’t save that mess.

I know we’re all over those ‘can they co-exist?!’ stories anyway, but man, veterans such as Becky getting upset about that ‘something in the ring happened and I got hit in the crossfire, HOW DARE THEY!?’ spot is EXTRA lame and stupid. It just makes literally everybody involved look bad and like a little tantrum throwing drama queen.

Michael Cole secretly thirsting for Bayley confirmed, ha!

Joshua

Why do people want Damage CTRL to lose tomorrow?

November 25, 2023

Bayley being kicked should have nothing to do with who loses or not. You need to start hot with a refreshed group

Paul

I feel like that is a PERFECT meme for any holiday family gathering, classic quote

November 25, 2023

“I didn’t come here to socialize with anybody I came here to fight with everybody” – Becky Lynch

Andrew

What is the most hostile (on TV) commentator,

November 25, 2023

wrestler relationship in 2023 WWE? I’d say Michael Cole, Bayley. Both constantly go out of their way to insult each other.

Steven

Happens at the dark match or whatever you wanna call it,

November 25, 2023

when Rhea was going back to the locker room she flipped off the la knight cosplayer sitting front row! 🤣🤣

Donald

Damn now I want a Charlotte/Shotzi tag team.

November 25, 2023

Shotzi got something special outta Charlotte with that promo, I’d love to see them continue that

Mark

Good show

November 25, 2023

I wish everyone would take LA Knight’s BFT like Austin Theory did tonight, he really made it look devastating.

Dragon lee vs Santos will be incredible!.

There were cm punk chants at the beginning but it seems that they faded a little later because I didn’t hear it during Carlito’s segment and when LA Knight appeared they only chanted for him, although there was a little in the main event but they were weak and died quickly.

I was sure Damage CTRL would win tomorrow but now I’m not sure, would they make both babyface teams win tomorrow night? because I see that Cody’s team must win to end this feud with JD once and for all and it is also Randy’s return match.

Anthony

LA and KO are a duo I didn’t realize I needed, even if it ends up just being for one night.

November 25, 2023

What I’m hoping for is for Damage Control and Team Cody to win tomorrow, but wouldn’t be overly surprised if the opposite happens.

Matthew

AJ styles fan sucks right now

November 25, 2023

Being an AJ styles fan sucks right now

Daniel

LA Knight

November 25, 2023

LA Knight not having a match tomorrow is criminal

Charles

The craziest thing about this show was the lack of anything Bloodline related.

November 25, 2023

Feels legitimately weird to not even see anyone mention them on this show after how much screentime they dominated just a few months ago.

Christopher

The gold jumpsuit doesn’t work for Dawkins.

November 25, 2023

I don’t know what it is but the Street Profits need new gear. The gold jumpsuit doesn’t work for Dawkins.

Thomas

traditional Survivor Series style match

November 25, 2023

I feel like they could’ve easily done a traditional Survivor Series style match with all the guys left off the show tomorrow.

Joseph

Kevin Owens Suspension very stupid

November 25, 2023

Whole Kevin Owens Suspension was for so that he cant participate in Wargames was very stupid and wayyy overkill.

Richard

Butch got 0 sympathy reaction for Ridge to walkout.

November 25, 2023

That was pretty sad. He needs to revamp his character.

William

Charlotte dropping the belt at the swap with Lynch,

November 25, 2023

Would be a good thing to reference here for their rivalry, but WWE really wants us to forget about that it’s not even on their official YouTube.

David

Carlito hasn’t wrestled much

November 25, 2023

Anyone notice Carlito hasn’t wrestled much since he’s returned? He showed late in the tag match and got written out of this one.

Michael

Just got back to my hotel and the show tonight was a lot of fun.

November 25, 2023

I was really hoping to get to see Dragon Lee wrestle live tonight for the first time but getting to see him tomorrow on the PPV is even better. Cody teaming with Seth in a dark match against Jd and Dom was a fun surprise. Cody didn’t have this Smackdown listed on his monthly calendar. It’s wild to see them teaming up two nights in a row in the same venue where HIAC took place. Fun moment – crowd was giving Dom hell so he tags in JD and the crowd starts chanting “you suck too.”

The CM Punk chants seemed coordinated from one or two sections in the upper deck behind where the stage would have been. Or at least that’s how it seemed to my ears. I was mostly annoyed because they were most vocal during opening segment with the women and then at the beginning of the main event with the women. The only other time I noticed them was during Cody and Seth’s post-match antics when Cody asked what to do with the table he had setup.

I think the crowd was thrown off by Ridge’s actions during the Brutes entrance and that pretty much killed the crowd for the match.

Felt bad for Raquel in her dark match with Rhea. Rhea was pulling every old school heel stalling tactic in the book and the crowd was not reacting at all until Dom would get involved. I’m not sure if Zoey Stark will fare much better tomorrow.

Can also confirm losing to Roman has not hurt LA Knight one bit. YEAH.

John

Bobby didn’t play things smart tonight.

November 25, 2023

Bobby sent the Profits out alone while JD had Rhea out there who then made the decisive difference.

with B-Fab hanging around, he could have also thrown her at Rhea.

instead he hung out back drinking pomegranate juice from a wine glass.

and so Carlito won’t actually be wrassling i suppose at Survivor Series, instead it is Dragon Lee taking his place to settle things with Santos. Santos now insists it is really Carlito is who at fault for Rey being hurt! he set things in motion! tho Santos still hopes Rey burns in hell and stuff like that.

it’s quite a choice having LA Knight be so hot and the USA title and Roman’s title off limits to him right now. they better get Logan Paul back to he can lose that belt. guess he will show up after Survivor Series.

(tho some rumors suggest LA Knight will rematch Roman at Royal Rumble, and lose again).

i guess whatever was planned for Alba and Isla was called off.

this episode was in fact totally free of anything Bloodline-related, but the Bloodline is not involved in Survivor Series.

i gotta think Randy Orton’s return would have implications for the Bloodline tho. when they injured him they also made kids in the audience sob. now even his RKBro has vanished, the Bloodline probably got him too. there’s a lot of ocean around the Island of Relevancy where an unfortunate soul can end up.

the faces will win at Wargames, but it won’t be all roses between Randy and Jey.

i gotta think Damage CTRL has to win in Wargames

Announcer Corey Graves said the following line on commentary: “Kevin Owens became a monster to fight the monsters of the world.” Fans on social media took notice that this was potentially a callback to an old promo from Punk.
