Toa vs Hangman was good, had Toa looking like a beast.

Mox vs Hardy was a fun match, leading to Hardys slow burn heel turn.

Swerve vs RVD has been great so far, RVD is 53 and wrestles like he never lost a step.

but if they built Wardlow up EARLIER they could have slid him in the Joe spot and put the title on him. Could have finally got a proper program with MJF and put him over especially if you knew Wardlow was going to be in this faction and had the reveal in the match. Wardlow becomes champ. Cole thinks he’s holding the title for him. Seeds get planted for them down the road.

The Cards Are Dealt: Anticipation Sizzles for AEW Dynamite’s “Dealer’s Choice”

The air crackles with an electric current, buzzing with something undeniably explosive. It’s not the winter wind whipping around Enmarket Arena in Savannah, Georgia – it’s the sheer voltage of anticipation for this Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite. Buckle up, wrestling maniacs, because January 31st ain’t just another date on the calendar; it’s “Dealer’s Choice,” a night where scores will be settled, rivalries reignited, and fates hang precariously in the balance, all at the whim of two men with cards held close to their chests: Adam Page and Swerve Strickland.

Remember that bitter war last week? The fists flying, the steel chairs soaring, the mutual loathing etched on every grimace? Yeah, that ain’t over. Not by a long shot. But tonight, the gloves are off, replaced by something far more insidious – the Dealer’s Choice stipulation. Each man, fresh off victories in their respective bouts, holds the power to pick the other’s opponent. It’s a game of poker played with bodies, a high-stakes gamble where reputations are the chips and careers are the pot.

Page, the Hangman, faces a crossroads. Does he unleash a beast on Strickland, a hungry predator to test his swagger? Or does he play the long game, choosing a foe who will weaken his enemy for a future title shot? Each path is fraught with peril, each opponent a potential banana peel on the road to Revolution. Will Page unveil a monster like Brody King, the terrifying Claw? Or will he opt for a technical wizard like Zack Sabre Jr. to twist Strickland’s limbs into knots? The Hangman’s choice could dictate the landscape of AEW for weeks to come.

But Strickland, the “Problem Solver,” ain’t no pushover. He may be all flash and charisma, but his in-ring IQ is razor-sharp. He knows Page’s every tick, every flinch, every emotional trigger. Expect the unexpected from Swerve. He could throw Page a curveball like the legendary Dustin Rhodes, the Natural, a veteran with decades of experience waiting to school the Hangman. Or maybe he’ll unleash a fresh face, a hungry up-and-comer with nothing to lose and everything to prove, someone like Dante Martin or Powerhouse Hobbs, ready to crash into Page’s carefully laid plans.

And that’s just the main event. Tonight’s “Dealer’s Choice” extends far beyond the headline battle. The air will be thick with the scent of vengeance as Deonna Purrazzo, the Virtuosa, squares off against Taya Valkyrie, the War Goddess. This isn’t your run-of-the-mill women’s match; it’s a grudge match forged in the fires of betrayal and ignited by a hunger for dominance. Their last encounter was a brutal display of technical wizardry and raw power, leaving both women battered and bruised. Tonight, they settle the score once and for all, the title of “Queen of the Ring” hanging heavy in the balance.

Meanwhile, the ever-enigmatic “Timeless” Toni Storm throws down the gauntlet to the formidable Deonna Purrazzo in a non-title clash. Don’t be fooled by Toni’s bubbly exterior; beneath that sunshine smile lies a storm brewing, a force of nature hungry for gold. This match is pure firecracker potential, a clash of styles that could steal the show with its blend of technical precision and unbridled athleticism.

And let’s not forget the madness brewing in the tag team division. The Death Triangle and Lucha Brothers, those masked masters of mayhem, have unfinished business. Their high-flying, bone-crunching battles are the stuff of legend, and tonight, they renew their aerial assault on Dynamite. But wait, there’s more! The unpredictable House of Black lurks in the shadows, their motives shrouded in mystery but their intentions clear: chaos. Will they intervene in the chaos, throwing the entire division into disarray?

“Dealer’s Choice” is not just a catchy tagline; it’s a metaphor for the very essence of AEW Dynamite. It’s a show where the future is unwritten, where every twist and turn is a gamble, and where the audience holds the ultimate trump card – their cheers and their roars. So tune in, wrestling world, because in Savannah, Georgia, the cards are about to be dealt, and the game is about to change forever. Will you be the dealer, or will you just be another card in the deck? Buckle up, it’s gonna be a wild ride.
