The Stage is Set: What Makes TNA Wrestling Live 3/6/25 Special?
TNA Wrestling has always been known for its high-octane action, innovative storytelling, and a roster packed with some of the most talented performers in the industry. But this event is different. It’s not just another show—it’s a culmination of months of build-up, rivalries reaching their boiling point, and new stars stepping into the spotlight. The 6th of March 2025 marks a pivotal moment in TNA’s history, and here’s why:
- The Return of Legends: Rumors are swirling that several TNA legends will make their presence felt, either in the ring or at ringside. Could we see the likes of AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, or even Kurt Angle make a surprise appearance? The possibility alone has fans buzzing.
- New Blood, New Rivalries: TNA’s recent signings have injected fresh energy into the promotion. Young talents are ready to prove themselves, and established stars are determined to defend their turf. The clash of generations is always a recipe for fireworks.
- High-Stakes Matches: Championships will be on the line, careers will be on the line, and pride will be on the line. Every match has a story, and every story has the potential to steal the show.
- Global Accessibility: For the first time, TNA Wrestling Live will be available to stream online worldwide. No matter where you are, you can be part of the action. This is a game-changer for fans who’ve been clamoring for easier access to TNA’s electrifying events.
Match Card Breakdown: What to Expect
While the full card is still being finalized, several matches have already been announced, and they’re enough to get any wrestling fan’s heart racing. Let’s take a closer look at what’s in store:
1. TNA World Heavyweight Championship: Alex Shelley (c) vs. Josh Alexander
The main event of the evening features a dream match between two of TNA’s finest. Alex Shelley, the reigning champion, has been on a roll, showcasing why he’s one of the most technically gifted wrestlers in the world. But Josh Alexander, “The Walking Weapon,” is a force of nature. His combination of brute strength and technical prowess makes him a formidable challenger. This match has all the makings of a classic, with both men determined to leave everything in the ring.
What to Watch For: Shelley’s cunning and speed versus Alexander’s raw power. Will Shelley’s experience be enough to retain the title, or will Alexander’s relentless pursuit of greatness finally pay off?
2. Knockouts World Championship: Jordynne Grace (c) vs. Deonna Purrazzo
The Knockouts division has always been a cornerstone of TNA, and this match is a testament to why. Jordynne Grace, the powerhouse champion, has been unstoppable, but Deonna Purrazzo, “The Virtuosa,” is a master of submission wrestling. Their rivalry has been building for months, and this match could be the culmination of one of the most intense feuds in TNA history.
What to Watch For: Grace’s strength against Purrazzo’s technical brilliance. Can Grace overpower her opponent, or will Purrazzo’s submission game prove too much to handle?
3. X-Division Championship: Chris Sabin (c) vs. Trey Miguel
The X-Division is known for its high-flying, fast-paced action, and this match promises to deliver just that. Chris Sabin, a veteran of the division, is as crafty as they come. But Trey Miguel, with his incredible athleticism and innovative offense, is the future of the X-Division. This is a clash of styles and generations, and it’s sure to be a show-stealer.
What to Watch For: Sabin’s experience and ring IQ versus Miguel’s youthful exuberance and high-risk maneuvers. Will the veteran outsmart the upstart, or will Miguel’s hunger for gold lead him to victory?
4. Tag Team Turmoil: The Good Brothers vs. The Motor City Machine Guns
Tag team wrestling is alive and well in TNA, and this match is proof. The Good Brothers, Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson, are one of the most dominant teams in wrestling history. But the Motor City Machine Guns, Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin, are legends in their own right. This match is a battle of tag team excellence, and it’s anyone’s guess who will come out on top.
What to Watch For: The chemistry between both teams is off the charts. Expect double-team maneuvers, near falls, and a whole lot of drama.
5. Grudge Match: Moose vs. Eddie Edwards
Some rivalries are personal, and this one is as personal as it gets. Moose and Eddie Edwards have been at each other’s throats for months, and their animosity has reached a boiling point. This match is about more than just winning—it’s about pride, revenge, and settling the score once and for all.
What to Watch For: Both men are known for their hard-hitting styles. This match could easily spill outside the ring, and don’t be surprised if weapons come into play.
Potential Surprises: What Could Shake Up the Night?
While the announced matches are enough to get fans excited, TNA Wrestling Live 3/6/25 is also the perfect stage for surprises. Here are a few possibilities:
- Shocking Returns: TNA has a history of bringing back familiar faces when least expected. Could we see the return of a fan favorite or a surprise debut?
- Title Changes: With so much on the line, it’s possible that we’ll see new champions crowned. The unpredictability is part of what makes TNA so thrilling.
- Unannounced Matches: TNA is known for adding last-minute matches to the card. Keep an eye out for impromptu bouts that could steal the show.

Very good show
I think his Ic run being so long hurt him as a credible world champion. It’s like he fought all the same guys and crushed them for a mid card belt now we are supposed to believe they are an actual challenge to him as a world champion? Lol when they took the intercontinental title off of him they should have moved him to SmackDown and put a new list of challengers in front of him. And moved Cody and the WWE championship to raw
Very good episode,
imagine being deluded enough to think a multi billion dollar company with guys who literally have wrestling in their blood hot shoted a heel turn storyline because they booked themselves into a corner. are you serious dude? that is the most ridiculous thing i have read in a minute lol. good luck bro.
Great episode.
Punk/Cody was there for the taking and Cena could’ve gone up against Gunther.
They knee jerked a heel turn because they booked themselves into a nepotism corner
Very good show
honestly don’t get the hate. like sure, there’s no major story here YET. But Punk/Rollins/Reigns has a lot of potential to be a high quality match. I’m legit looking forward to it and love that these three have wound up in a match together.
Great episode.
The triple threat match between them at Wrestlemania is gonna be awesome. Super stoked for this match
Great show
Let’s mention the women’s match in every live/hate challenge. Easiest task for this group of “journalists” ever. Each one of these love/hates are more embarrassing than the last. We get it, women’s wrestling is amazing and should main event every show and if a women’s match is bad it’s because where it is on the card or the booking it’s never the talent, all the women are top tier wrestlers.
Very good show
You wanna find out who the real simps and shills are? Mark down anybody who defends that main event match! Even the diehard AEW fans are crapping on that main event. It was terrible.
This Moxley stuff is stinking out the entire show and the dude seems to think he is Brock Lesnar.
The sad part is that this wasn’t a terrible show overall and with all things taken into an account. But at the end of the day, a bad ending can ruin a whole show for a lot of people. “Game of Thrones season 8” style.
Great show
So the crux of it all is that the PLE started strong…then ended with a sour belch.
The fans most remember how you left them and the fans are going to remember this show with a resounding “bleh”!
And any casual fan who watched with their buddies who are more diehard fans, may have left the viewing saying aloud, “That guy was pretty good. He should go to WWE”.
Great show.
I’ve said before but I think one of the issues here is that Tony is a massive fan of NJPW and often looks to emulate their PPV card structure. NJPW cards typically build to a climax with the big matches back to back and tend not to feature cool down matches or spots. Problem is western audiences haven’t been conditioned for that over the last 40 years, so often results in burnout. Personally I would have laid out the card like below giving breathing spaces, opening with the Steel Cage match and building to the Hollywood Ending as the main event.
Storm vs. May
Mox vs. Cope
Hangman vs. MJF
Hurt Syndicate vs. Outrunners
Takeshita vs. Omega
Swerve vs. Ricochet
Okada vs. King
Mone vs. Watanabe
Ospreay vs. Fletcher
Great episode.
Very good show, but the ending is what people remember. WWE ended Elimination Chamber with a huge heel turn. AEW ended Revolution with that abominable ending.
it doesn’t totally undo a great show, but it might have done more harm than good.
Very good show
I can already see Trips the mark statues, Trips the mark with a 20 minutes speech, the camera focusing onTrips the mark every 30 seconds when he is on the crowd.
Great show.
I’m glad they are bringing it back to a nice venue. The idea of hosting it immediately after Smackdown is insane. Why not put a highlight show or broadcast the Hall of Fame instead of airing Smackdown that week.
best of the best
Very good show tonight
