The Matches: A Card Stacked with Fireworks
The match card for WWE LFG Live 3/2/25 is a masterpiece of anticipation and intrigue. Each bout has been designed to tell a story, to evoke emotion, and to leave fans on the edge of their seats. Here’s a breakdown of the confirmed matches and what to expect:
1. Main Event: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Cody Rhodes – Undisputed WWE Universal Championship
The Bloodline saga has been the cornerstone of WWE storytelling for years, and at LFG Live, it reaches its boiling point. Roman Reigns, the Tribal Chief, the Head of the Table, will defend his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Cody Rhodes, the American Nightmare.
This isn’t just a match—it’s a war. Cody’s journey to dethrone Roman has been fraught with obstacles, betrayal, and heartbreak. With The Usos and Solo Sikoa lurking in the shadows, the odds are stacked against Cody. But if anyone can overcome the Bloodline’s dominance, it’s the man who vowed to finish the story. Will Cody finally achieve his destiny, or will Roman Reigns cement his legacy as the greatest champion of the modern era?
2. Seth “Freakin” Rollins vs. Gunther – World Heavyweight Championship
The Visionary vs. The Ring General. Seth Rollins, the flamboyant and unpredictable World Heavyweight Champion, will face his toughest challenge yet in Gunther, the longest-reigning Intercontinental Champion in WWE history.
Gunther’s path of destruction has been nothing short of awe-inspiring. His brutal chops, technical mastery, and unrelenting intensity have made him a force to be reckoned with. Seth, however, is no stranger to high-stakes matches. His resilience and creativity in the ring are unmatched. This clash of styles promises to be a technical masterpiece, with both men pushing each other to their absolute limits.
3. Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Bianca Belair – Women’s World Championship
The Eradicator vs. The EST of WWE. Rhea Ripley, the dominant Women’s World Champion, will defend her title against Bianca Belair in what is sure to be a show-stealing encounter.
Rhea’s physicality and dominance have made her one of the most feared competitors in the women’s division. Bianca, on the other hand, is the embodiment of strength, speed, and charisma. Their rivalry has been building for months, with each woman claiming victory over the other in non-title matches. At LFG Live, the stakes are higher than ever. Will Rhea continue her reign of terror, or will Bianca reclaim her spot at the top of the division?
4. The Usos vs. Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens – Tag Team Championship
The Bloodline’s dominance extends beyond Roman Reigns. The Usos, the most decorated tag team in WWE history, will defend their Tag Team Championships against the unlikely duo of Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens.
Sami and KO’s friendship has been a rollercoaster of betrayal and reconciliation, but their shared hatred for the Bloodline has united them once again. The Usos, however, are at the peak of their powers, with Jimmy and Jey operating like a well-oiled machine. This match will be a high-octane, emotionally charged battle that could steal the show.
5. Edge vs. Finn Bálor – Hell in a Cell
The Rated-R Superstar vs. The Prince. Edge and Finn Bálor’s rivalry has been one of the most personal and intense in recent memory. At LFG Live, they will settle their score inside the most brutal structure in WWE history: Hell in a Cell.
This match is not for the faint of heart. Expect blood, brutality, and moments that will leave fans gasping. Both men have a score to settle, and there’s no better place to do it than inside the devil’s playground.
6. LA Knight vs. Logan Paul – United States Championship
YEAH! The megastar LA Knight will defend his United States Championship against the controversial social media sensation Logan Paul.
LA Knight’s rise to superstardom has been meteoric, and his charisma has made him one of the most popular stars in WWE. Logan Paul, however, is a wildcard. His athleticism and willingness to take risks have made him a legitimate threat in the ring. This match will be a clash of personalities, with both men vying for supremacy.
The Surprises: What We Don’t Know (Yet)
While the confirmed matches are enough to make any wrestling fan salivate, WWE LFG Live 3/2/25 is also expected to deliver its fair share of surprises. Rumors are swirling about potential returns, shocking twists, and career-altering moments.

Very good show
I think his Ic run being so long hurt him as a credible world champion. It’s like he fought all the same guys and crushed them for a mid card belt now we are supposed to believe they are an actual challenge to him as a world champion? Lol when they took the intercontinental title off of him they should have moved him to SmackDown and put a new list of challengers in front of him. And moved Cody and the WWE championship to raw
Very good episode,
imagine being deluded enough to think a multi billion dollar company with guys who literally have wrestling in their blood hot shoted a heel turn storyline because they booked themselves into a corner. are you serious dude? that is the most ridiculous thing i have read in a minute lol. good luck bro.
Great episode.
Punk/Cody was there for the taking and Cena could’ve gone up against Gunther.
They knee jerked a heel turn because they booked themselves into a nepotism corner
Very good show
honestly don’t get the hate. like sure, there’s no major story here YET. But Punk/Rollins/Reigns has a lot of potential to be a high quality match. I’m legit looking forward to it and love that these three have wound up in a match together.
Great episode.
The triple threat match between them at Wrestlemania is gonna be awesome. Super stoked for this match
Great show
Let’s mention the women’s match in every live/hate challenge. Easiest task for this group of “journalists” ever. Each one of these love/hates are more embarrassing than the last. We get it, women’s wrestling is amazing and should main event every show and if a women’s match is bad it’s because where it is on the card or the booking it’s never the talent, all the women are top tier wrestlers.
Very good show
You wanna find out who the real simps and shills are? Mark down anybody who defends that main event match! Even the diehard AEW fans are crapping on that main event. It was terrible.
This Moxley stuff is stinking out the entire show and the dude seems to think he is Brock Lesnar.
The sad part is that this wasn’t a terrible show overall and with all things taken into an account. But at the end of the day, a bad ending can ruin a whole show for a lot of people. “Game of Thrones season 8” style.
Great show
So the crux of it all is that the PLE started strong…then ended with a sour belch.
The fans most remember how you left them and the fans are going to remember this show with a resounding “bleh”!
And any casual fan who watched with their buddies who are more diehard fans, may have left the viewing saying aloud, “That guy was pretty good. He should go to WWE”.
Great show.
I’ve said before but I think one of the issues here is that Tony is a massive fan of NJPW and often looks to emulate their PPV card structure. NJPW cards typically build to a climax with the big matches back to back and tend not to feature cool down matches or spots. Problem is western audiences haven’t been conditioned for that over the last 40 years, so often results in burnout. Personally I would have laid out the card like below giving breathing spaces, opening with the Steel Cage match and building to the Hollywood Ending as the main event.
Storm vs. May
Mox vs. Cope
Hangman vs. MJF
Hurt Syndicate vs. Outrunners
Takeshita vs. Omega
Swerve vs. Ricochet
Okada vs. King
Mone vs. Watanabe
Ospreay vs. Fletcher
Great episode.
Very good show, but the ending is what people remember. WWE ended Elimination Chamber with a huge heel turn. AEW ended Revolution with that abominable ending.
it doesn’t totally undo a great show, but it might have done more harm than good.
Very good show
I can already see Trips the mark statues, Trips the mark with a 20 minutes speech, the camera focusing onTrips the mark every 30 seconds when he is on the crowd.
Great show.
I’m glad they are bringing it back to a nice venue. The idea of hosting it immediately after Smackdown is insane. Why not put a highlight show or broadcast the Hall of Fame instead of airing Smackdown that week.
best of the best
Very good show tonight
