LFG, which stands for “Let’s Freakin’ Go,” is a rallying cry for the WWE Universe, a promise of nonstop action, jawdropping moments, and the kind of drama that only WWE can deliver.
This year’s event is poised to be the biggest yet, with a card stacked with dream matches, grudge matches, and title bouts that will leave fans on the edge of their seats. The WWE creative team has pulled out all the stops, ensuring that every match tells a story, every rivalry reaches its climax, and every superstar has a chance to shine.
Confirmed Matches: The Battles You Can’t Miss
Let’s break down the confirmed matches for WWE LFG Live 3/9/25, each one a masterpiece in the making.
1. Universal Championship Match: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Cody Rhodes
The Tribal Chief. The American Nightmare. Two of the biggest names in WWE collide in a match that has been years in the making. Roman Reigns, the undisputed head of the table, has held the Universal Championship for what feels like an eternity, dominating everyone in his path. But Cody Rhodes, fresh off his triumphant return to WWE, is determined to finish the story he started years ago.
This isn’t just a match—it’s a clash of ideologies. Roman represents dominance, power, and an unbreakable legacy. Cody represents resilience, redemption, and the pursuit of a dream. With both men at the peak of their powers, this match has all the ingredients to be an instant classic.
2. Women’s World Championship Match: Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Bianca Belair
The Eradicator vs. The EST of WWE. Rhea Ripley has been a force of nature since capturing the Women’s World Championship, bulldozing through the competition with her unmatched strength and intensity. But Bianca Belair is no stranger to overcoming the odds. With her unparalleled athleticism and unshakable confidence, Bianca is determined to reclaim the title that once defined her reign.
This match is a battle of power vs. speed, aggression vs. finesse. Both women have proven time and time again that they can deliver showstealing performances, and there’s no doubt that this will be one for the history books.
3. Hell in a Cell: Seth Rollins vs. Drew McIntyre
When words fail, the steel structure speaks. Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre have been at each other’s throats for months, their rivalry escalating to dangerous levels. From backstage brawls to personal insults, this feud has become deeply personal, and there’s only one way to settle it: inside the most brutal structure in WWE history, Hell in a Cell.
Both men are no strangers to the Cell, having competed in some of its most iconic matches. But this time, the stakes are higher, the hatred is deeper, and the consequences will be felt for years to come. Expect blood, sweat, and tears as these two warriors leave everything in the ring.
4. Tag Team Turmoil: The Usos vs. The New Day vs. The Street Profits
Tag team wrestling is alive and well in WWE, and this triplethreat match is proof. The Usos, The New Day, and The Street Profits are three of the most decorated teams in WWE history, each with their own unique style and chemistry.
This match is a showcase of highflying action, innovative teamwork, and the kind of chaos that only tag team wrestling can deliver. With so much on the line, including potential title opportunities, all three teams will be pulling out all the stops to secure the win.
Rumored Surprises: What Could Happen?
While the confirmed matches are enough to make any WWE fan salivate, the rumors surrounding WWE LFG Live 3/9/25 are even more tantalizing. Here are a few possibilities that could send shockwaves through the WWE Universe:
The Return of The Rock

With his ties to Roman Reigns and the Bloodline storyline, it’s not hard to imagine The Great One making a surprise appearance to shake things up. Whether as a competitor or a special enforcer, The Rock’s presence would instantly elevate the event to legendary status.
A Shocking Debut
WWE has a long history of introducing new talent at major events, and LFG Live 3/9/25 could be the perfect stage for a shocking debut. Whether it’s a rising star from NXT or a surprise signing from another promotion, the WWE Universe is always ready to welcome the next big thing.
A Title Change
While Roman Reigns and Rhea Ripley have been dominant champions, nothing is guaranteed in WWE. With so much talent vying for the top spots, a title change could be in the cards. Could Cody Rhodes finally dethrone Roman? Could Bianca Belair reclaim her throne? The possibilities are endless.

Very good show
I think his Ic run being so long hurt him as a credible world champion. It’s like he fought all the same guys and crushed them for a mid card belt now we are supposed to believe they are an actual challenge to him as a world champion? Lol when they took the intercontinental title off of him they should have moved him to SmackDown and put a new list of challengers in front of him. And moved Cody and the WWE championship to raw
Very good episode,
imagine being deluded enough to think a multi billion dollar company with guys who literally have wrestling in their blood hot shoted a heel turn storyline because they booked themselves into a corner. are you serious dude? that is the most ridiculous thing i have read in a minute lol. good luck bro.
Great episode.
Punk/Cody was there for the taking and Cena could’ve gone up against Gunther.
They knee jerked a heel turn because they booked themselves into a nepotism corner
Very good show
honestly don’t get the hate. like sure, there’s no major story here YET. But Punk/Rollins/Reigns has a lot of potential to be a high quality match. I’m legit looking forward to it and love that these three have wound up in a match together.
Great episode.
The triple threat match between them at Wrestlemania is gonna be awesome. Super stoked for this match
Great show
Let’s mention the women’s match in every live/hate challenge. Easiest task for this group of “journalists” ever. Each one of these love/hates are more embarrassing than the last. We get it, women’s wrestling is amazing and should main event every show and if a women’s match is bad it’s because where it is on the card or the booking it’s never the talent, all the women are top tier wrestlers.
Very good show
You wanna find out who the real simps and shills are? Mark down anybody who defends that main event match! Even the diehard AEW fans are crapping on that main event. It was terrible.
This Moxley stuff is stinking out the entire show and the dude seems to think he is Brock Lesnar.
The sad part is that this wasn’t a terrible show overall and with all things taken into an account. But at the end of the day, a bad ending can ruin a whole show for a lot of people. “Game of Thrones season 8” style.
Great show
So the crux of it all is that the PLE started strong…then ended with a sour belch.
The fans most remember how you left them and the fans are going to remember this show with a resounding “bleh”!
And any casual fan who watched with their buddies who are more diehard fans, may have left the viewing saying aloud, “That guy was pretty good. He should go to WWE”.
Great show.
I’ve said before but I think one of the issues here is that Tony is a massive fan of NJPW and often looks to emulate their PPV card structure. NJPW cards typically build to a climax with the big matches back to back and tend not to feature cool down matches or spots. Problem is western audiences haven’t been conditioned for that over the last 40 years, so often results in burnout. Personally I would have laid out the card like below giving breathing spaces, opening with the Steel Cage match and building to the Hollywood Ending as the main event.
Storm vs. May
Mox vs. Cope
Hangman vs. MJF
Hurt Syndicate vs. Outrunners
Takeshita vs. Omega
Swerve vs. Ricochet
Okada vs. King
Mone vs. Watanabe
Ospreay vs. Fletcher
Great episode.
Very good show, but the ending is what people remember. WWE ended Elimination Chamber with a huge heel turn. AEW ended Revolution with that abominable ending.
it doesn’t totally undo a great show, but it might have done more harm than good.
Very good show
I can already see Trips the mark statues, Trips the mark with a 20 minutes speech, the camera focusing onTrips the mark every 30 seconds when he is on the crowd.
Great show.
I’m glad they are bringing it back to a nice venue. The idea of hosting it immediately after Smackdown is insane. Why not put a highlight show or broadcast the Hall of Fame instead of airing Smackdown that week.
best of the best
Very good show tonight
