DID YOU ENJOY WWE NXT ON NOVEMBER 28TH 2023?

What worked on WWE NXT

Rated 5.0 out of 5
November 29, 2023

Fatal 4-way main event. The poet Robert Burns wrote that the best laid plans of mice & men often go astray. Dirty Dom should look that up, since it applies to him after tonight. Cam Grimes has been mostly a JTTS on Smackdown of late, only because they haven’t come up with a significant story for him since Baron Corbin came down to NXT.

Personally, I would’ve loved it if HBK sweetened the pot by saying the winner, regardless of who it is, would get the next shot, leaving a door open in case Wes Lee lost.

BTW, Dom, you’re not the greatest NA champ yet. Not when the majority of your defenses have needed Judgment Day help. The four men in that main event would all rank ahead of you, as would Trick & Carmelo.

Moving on……

Both of Arianna Grace’s wins have come with an eye gouge setting up her finisher. There’s still some work to be done in the ring, but her gimmick otherwise is getting over.

Lexis King vs. Brooks Jensen was fine for what it was. I’m calling it now. Trick & ‘Melo vs. Briggs & Jensen post-Deadline, since ‘Melo has a match next week.

The tag title match, as expected, was a banger. Too soon for Garza & Carrillo to win the gold, but that day is coming.

In the middle:

Iron Survivor qualifiers. I said earlier that this would be a slam dunk for Bron, but they told a good story with Eddy Thorpe. We all knew Roxanne would collect a receipt on Kiana, enabling Kelani to advance to Deadline.

Dragunov vs. Frazer was a good one, too. Very uncharacteristic for Nathan to put his foot in his mouth, don’t ya think?

Meta-Four promo was lacking something. Of all the Scots across the WWE roster, Noam Dar has the thickest brogue. It’s easier listening to Drew McIntyre or any of the Scottish women (i.e. Nikki Cross, Alba Fyre) than Dar. Facts.

What didn’t worK: Darren making more mistakes than usual. He needs an editor.

Nathan

Kelani vs Kiana was ok.

November 29, 2023

Kelani winning was clear because three heels were already in the match and we know Roxanne wasn’t going to let Kiana in the match. I really liked the follow up segment where Tiffany said Kiana will qualify and not Roxanne, it keeps their little alliance storyline going. I feel like Roxanne has a good shot at winning the last chance where Kiana would cost her the match itself but I’d love it if Fallon won and we’d get Kiana vs Roxanne in a stipulation at Deadline, this fued is intense enough now for one.

I’ll be honest though, I’m a tad worried about the Iron Survivor match itself, I’m not sure how anyone involved so far but Blair will do in a 10-25 minute match depending how long they’re in for, it’s kinda a necessity for her to start it. I like seeing Lash and Kelani get these opportunities but multiple non long match wrestlers at the same time could get messy, I hope I’m surprised.

Nikkita returning soon will be interesting, she’s been out for most of 2023 and she was doing well with her matches against KC2 before the injury. She will probably go after Blair Davenport who caused it.

Jacy’s depressed look during that speech by Chase lol. I feel like whatever was being gambled on will be something about Thea, but the theory that Jacy leaked the document to get Chase U in trouble is also plausible.

Fallon is lowkey so sassy in these backstage segments lol. Her confronting Lyra was interesting in her second segment, but the big thing from that was Tatum lurking behind the curtain. Tatum has been a weird case, she had a match with Katana Chance on Main Event where she wore her Daffney gear and was crazy. Her fall to being the biggest jobber on NXT was pretty quick considering she was in a well liked team with Ivy soon before, that breakup really did nothing for either of them. I hope whatever this is works for her. Also about Lyra, I’m shocked she and Lola haven’t interacted at all since the breakdown tournament ended.

Nice to see Maxxine getting a match next week in the 6 person mixed tag, her wrestling on NXT more often is probably a smart move as she can get more experience away from Raw.

Arianna vs Karmen felt fresh, the breakout tournament has breathed even more life into the women’s division. This fued has felt a bit weird though because Arianna really hasn’t done anything too bad lol. Sure she’s annoying but it felt a little uncalled for when Karmen attacked her. She was also grabbing Arianna’s hair so she deserved that eye poke tbh. The Miss NXT can do no wrong! /s

They are on this insane streak at the monent. They rarely miss. I’m so glad I started watching right before Great American Bash.

Wes Lee is having a great comeback story, I cant wait to see them go at it at Deadline.

Lexuals stay winning after tonight.

I bet neither Roxanne or Kianna get into the Iron Survivor challenge because they are blinded by their feud.

The mens match is FUCKING STACKED and very tall with Dijak, Trick and Briggs. Breaker makes up for it with wideness so its okay.

Aaron

Don’t make Roxanne angry because you’re not going to like her when she’s angry!

Roxanne Perez was a NXT Womens Champion but think I like her much more now where’s she at in a feud with Kianna James because she continues to grow and grow her character and her fiery side is on fire and she actually scares me when she’s angry.

The rise of underdog babyface Wes Lee is one of the better stories in NXT’s history imo. From losing your tag partner under controversial circumstances to being the best NA champ of all time. I feel like HBK handled every Wes Lee screen time with sincere care to get him over

Kelani vs Kiana was a fun match, Kelani is coming along nicely. This Roxanne vs Kiana feud is who can out petty each other lmao

Seth Rollins had a phase where he thought that he was a messiah, now he laughs all the time. Checks out

Big E started to hang around two other guys , and went on to talk about unicorns, cereal, trombones, booty, meat, booty meat, building a condo on Sami Zayn’s asscheeks, etc. Checks out

Bo Dallas became a delusional motivational speaker, blindly followed the Miz around, then became Uncle Howdy(we think). Check.

Neville became a Bastard. Check.

Kevin Owens turned on and teamed up with one guy many many times, not to mention his downward spiral ending in the total elimination of Ezekiel. Also Screams a lot. Check.

Sami Zayn did the exact same thing, not to mention his claims of being IC Champion when. He wasn’t. Also trusting the Tribal Chief. Check.

Finn Balor became a demon, a smiley guy, an angry guy, a demon again, and now he’s prison Mike. Check.

Samoa Joe obsessed over AJ Styles’ wife. Check.

HAVE YOU SEEN WHAT SHINSUKE’S DONE LATELY?? Not to mention kissing Muta and roughly fondling Phenomenal Balls. Check.

Bobby Roode became narcissistic, referring to himself as Glorious, Check.

Have you seen how Drew’s been lately? Also anyone being Shane Mcmahon’s bodyguard is an instant check.

Andrade took on having CJ as his manager, knowing full well that Miro will kill him sooner or later. Check.

Everything Aleister Black has done is an instant check.

Ciampa was on some evil shit during his reign. Instant check.

Adam Cole became drunk with power being a big fish in a small pond. Also at the time, teaming with a guy known for turning on his allies is a check.

Keith Lee is a check for giving up being a double champion by vacating the NA Championship so quickly only for him to lose to a guy that had to vacate, causing him to lose two titles in a matter of weeks.

Kross is a check for being so obsessed with time. Your ass ain’t a mad hatter.

Breakker attempted murder and caused brain injury on Von Wagner via steel step. Check.

Even though this was before he won the title, helping dump dog food on Roman Reigns, imitating legends for a brief spell, being a male cheerleader and a caddy for a man who renounced his Latin Heritage, HAVING BLACK HAIR FOR ONE RAW, that’s a check for Zigs.

Melo’s on a downward spiral with everyone believing that he would assault his best friend when it was CLEARLY WES LEE. Check.

The Fatal 4 Way and Ilja’s match were phenomenal. I guess we are not getting heel Wes after all. That’s sad but at least we get The Prodigy kicking butt all over the building. Great show as usual.

I’m thinking Fallon

Larry

Another great show.

November 29, 2023

Notice that Chase said that he takes responsibility, but not that he is actually that one that did it. Hudson’s old gimmick is a poker player. Hmm. . .

And I assume that Roxy and Kiana will cost each other next week, which leaves Fallon and Thea. Thinking Fallon takes it. The men’s match is a bit harder. HBK can do something with Melo being in or not being in it but I have him out for now, Bate has been a non-factor recently, Thorpe. . . blah, Coffey. . . ew but HBK loves Coffey. Ugh i can see Coffey getting in.

Need one more match, which I think will be Roxy vs Kiana again. Needs a stip, so maybe ‘Loser Leaves NXT’? Kiana wins or Roxy disappears until the Rumble.
