WWE Evolve May 21st, 2025: A Night of High-Stakes Action & Unstoppable Rivalries
By [Watch Wrestling]
The WWE Universe is buzzing with anticipation as WWE Evolve returns with another explosive event on May 21st, 2025! This night promises to deliver high-octane matches, shocking twists, and career-defining moments as some of the most electrifying superstars in sports entertainment step into the ring.
From brutal grudge matches to championship showdowns, this card is stacked with must-see action. Will new champions be crowned? Will bitter rivalries reach their breaking point? And who will leave Evolve as the undeniable MVP of the night?
Let’s break down every match, analyze the rivalries, and predict what could go down in this can’t-miss spectacle!
Main Event: “The Apex Predator” Damian Priest vs. “The Revolutionary” Carmelo Hayes – No Disqualification Match
🔥 The Feud That Couldn’t Be Contained 🔥
This rivalry has been one of the most personal in recent WWE history. What started as a battle for supremacy quickly turned into an all-out war. Carmelo Hayes, the self-proclaimed “Revolutionary,” has been on a mission to prove he’s the future of WWE, while Damian Priest, the “Apex Predator,” has made it clear that Hayes isn’t ready for his spot at the top.
After weeks of ambush attacks, brutal brawls, and near-career-ending maneuvers, WWE officials had no choice but to make this a No Disqualification Match—anything goes!
What to Expect:
- High-risk spots: Both men are known for their daredevil styles. Expect ladder spots, table breaks, and possibly even a dive through the announcer’s desk.
- Outside interference? Hayes has been known to rely on his faction, The New Foundation, while Priest has been a lone wolf. Will someone tip the scales?
- A definitive ending: With no rules, this feud must end here. Will Priest silence Hayes for good, or will “Melo” cement his legacy?
Prediction: Damian Priest wins after a brutal Chokeslam through the announce table, but Hayes’ resilience ensures this isn’t their last encounter.
WWE Evolve Championship Match: Bron Breakker (c) vs. Ilja Dragunov – 2 Out of 3 Falls
💀 A Collision of Unstoppable Force vs. Immovable Object 💀
Bron Breakker has been an unstoppable force since capturing the Evolve Championship, mowing down every challenger with his raw power and explosive intensity. But Ilja Dragunov is unlike any opponent he’s faced—a man who thrives in brutal, physical wars and refuses to stay down.
This 2 Out of 3 Falls Match ensures that only the toughest, most resilient competitor walks out as champion.
What to Expect:
- A war of attrition: Both men will push each other to absolute limits. Expect German suplexes, spine-crushing spears, and possibly a broken ring.
- Near falls that will have fans on their feet: Dragunov’s Torpedo Moscow and Breakker’s Gorilla Press Powerslam could each end it at any moment.
- Will outside factors play a role? Breakker has shown a darker edge lately—will he resort to underhanded tactics to retain?
Prediction: Ilja Dragunov wins 2-1 in an instant classic, finally dethroning Breakker after an epic 30-minute war.
Grudge Match: Roxanne Perez vs. Tiffany Stratton – “I Quit” Match
😈 The Ultimate Test of Willpower 😈
This rivalry has gotten ugly, personal, and downright vicious. Roxanne Perez and Tiffany Stratton have brawled in parking lots, attacked each other with steel chairs, and even cost each other championship opportunities. Now, the only way this ends is when one of them utters the two most humiliating words in wrestling: “I Quit.”
What to Expect:
- Brutal submissions and weapon shots: Perez’s armbar vs. Stratton’s brutal knee strikes—who breaks first?
- Mind games: Stratton is a master manipulator. Will she trick Perez into quitting, or will Roxanne’s heart prevail?
- A star-making performance: Whoever wins this will solidify themselves as the toughest woman in WWE.
Prediction: Roxanne Perez wins after locking in a brutal armbar with a steel chair wrapped around Stratton’s neck, forcing her to quit.
Tag Team Turmoil: The Creed Brothers vs. Pretty Deadly – Winners Get NXT Tag Title Shot
🏆 A Path to Gold on the Line 🏆
The Creed Brothers (Brutus & Julius Creed) have been dominating the tag division with their amateur wrestling prowess and raw power. But Pretty Deadly (Kit Wilson & Elton Prince) are the most cunning duo in WWE, using every trick in the book to steal victories.
The winners of this match get a future shot at the NXT Tag Team Championships, making this a must-win for both teams.
What to Expect:
- High-impact tag team wrestling: The Creeds’ power moves vs. Pretty Deadly’s flamboyant but deadly offense.
- Cheating galore: Pretty Deadly will use every shortcut possible, but will it be enough?
- A surprise return or interference? Could a mystery team make their presence felt?
Prediction: The Creed Brothers win clean, setting up a monster push toward the NXT Tag Titles.
Special Attraction Match: Dragon Lee vs. Axiom – High-Flying Showcase
🚀 Aerial Mastery at Its Finest 🚀
If you love high-flying, fast-paced, jaw-dropping action, this is your match. Dragon Lee and Axiom are two of the most innovative luchadores in WWE, and this could easily steal the show.
What to Expect:
- Dives, flips, and counters that defy physics
- A possible 5-star classic if given enough time
- Will this lead to a bigger rivalry?
Prediction: Dragon Lee wins with a Phoenix Splash, but both men earn standing ovations.

What do YOU think will happen? Let us know in the comments!
Very good show
I think his Ic run being so long hurt him as a credible world champion. It’s like he fought all the same guys and crushed them for a mid card belt now we are supposed to believe they are an actual challenge to him as a world champion? Lol when they took the intercontinental title off of him they should have moved him to SmackDown and put a new list of challengers in front of him. And moved Cody and the WWE championship to raw
Very good episode,
imagine being deluded enough to think a multi billion dollar company with guys who literally have wrestling in their blood hot shoted a heel turn storyline because they booked themselves into a corner. are you serious dude? that is the most ridiculous thing i have read in a minute lol. good luck bro.
Great episode.
Punk/Cody was there for the taking and Cena could’ve gone up against Gunther.
They knee jerked a heel turn because they booked themselves into a nepotism corner
Very good show
honestly don’t get the hate. like sure, there’s no major story here YET. But Punk/Rollins/Reigns has a lot of potential to be a high quality match. I’m legit looking forward to it and love that these three have wound up in a match together.
Great episode.
The triple threat match between them at Wrestlemania is gonna be awesome. Super stoked for this match
Great show
Let’s mention the women’s match in every live/hate challenge. Easiest task for this group of “journalists” ever. Each one of these love/hates are more embarrassing than the last. We get it, women’s wrestling is amazing and should main event every show and if a women’s match is bad it’s because where it is on the card or the booking it’s never the talent, all the women are top tier wrestlers.
Very good show
You wanna find out who the real simps and shills are? Mark down anybody who defends that main event match! Even the diehard AEW fans are crapping on that main event. It was terrible.
This Moxley stuff is stinking out the entire show and the dude seems to think he is Brock Lesnar.
The sad part is that this wasn’t a terrible show overall and with all things taken into an account. But at the end of the day, a bad ending can ruin a whole show for a lot of people. “Game of Thrones season 8” style.
Great show
So the crux of it all is that the PLE started strong…then ended with a sour belch.
The fans most remember how you left them and the fans are going to remember this show with a resounding “bleh”!
And any casual fan who watched with their buddies who are more diehard fans, may have left the viewing saying aloud, “That guy was pretty good. He should go to WWE”.
Great show.
I’ve said before but I think one of the issues here is that Tony is a massive fan of NJPW and often looks to emulate their PPV card structure. NJPW cards typically build to a climax with the big matches back to back and tend not to feature cool down matches or spots. Problem is western audiences haven’t been conditioned for that over the last 40 years, so often results in burnout. Personally I would have laid out the card like below giving breathing spaces, opening with the Steel Cage match and building to the Hollywood Ending as the main event.
Storm vs. May
Mox vs. Cope
Hangman vs. MJF
Hurt Syndicate vs. Outrunners
Takeshita vs. Omega
Swerve vs. Ricochet
Okada vs. King
Mone vs. Watanabe
Ospreay vs. Fletcher
Great episode.
Very good show, but the ending is what people remember. WWE ended Elimination Chamber with a huge heel turn. AEW ended Revolution with that abominable ending.
it doesn’t totally undo a great show, but it might have done more harm than good.
Very good show
I can already see Trips the mark statues, Trips the mark with a 20 minutes speech, the camera focusing onTrips the mark every 30 seconds when he is on the crowd.
Great show.
I’m glad they are bringing it back to a nice venue. The idea of hosting it immediately after Smackdown is insane. Why not put a highlight show or broadcast the Hall of Fame instead of airing Smackdown that week.
best of the best
Very good show tonight
