ROH Wrestling Live – April 10, 2025: The Ultimate Preview

The stage is set, the warriors are ready, and the stakes have never been higher.

Ring of Honor (ROH) returns with another explosive live event on April 10, 2025, promising a night of high-octane action, shocking twists, and unforgettable moments. Whether you’re a die-hard ROH fan or a newcomer to the squared circle, this event is shaping up to be one of the most electrifying shows of the year.

In this exclusive preview, we’ll break down every confirmed match, analyze the rivalries, and predict the potential outcomes that could reshape the future of ROH. From championship clashes to grudge matches that have been months in the making, ROH Wrestling Live on April 10, 2025 is a must-watch spectacle.

🔥 Main Event: ROH World Championship – “The Dragon” vs. “The Titan”

ROH World Champion Shingo Takagi (c) vs. Jeff Cobb

The ROH World Championship will be on the line in a colossal battle between two of the most dominant forces in professional wrestling. Shingo Takagi, the reigning champion known as “The Dragon,” has been an unstoppable force since capturing the gold. His hard-hitting style, combined with unmatched resilience, has left a trail of fallen challengers in his wake.

But standing in his way is Jeff Cobb, “The Imperial Unit,” a powerhouse who has bulldozed through every opponent in recent months. Cobb’s strength and agility make him a nightmare matchup for any champion, and after earning this title shot, he’s more determined than ever to claim ROH’s top prize.

Prediction: This is a true toss-up. Takagi’s championship experience gives him an edge, but Cobb’s raw power could be the deciding factor. Expect a brutal, back-and-forth war that could steal the show.

💀 Grudge Match: The Death Before Dishonor Rematch

Eddie Kingston vs. Claudio Castagnoli – No Disqualification

The rivalry between Eddie Kingston and Claudio Castagnoli has reached a boiling point. Their last encounter ended in controversy, with Castagnoli using underhanded tactics to secure a victory. Kingston, a man of honor, has demanded this rematch under No Disqualification rules, ensuring there will be no escape for the Swiss Superman.

Both men thrive in hardcore environments, and with no rules to hold them back, this could turn into an all-out brawl featuring chairs, tables, and possibly even blood. Kingston’s intensity versus Castagnoli’s technical mastery creates a fascinating dynamic.

Prediction: Kingston finally gets his revenge in a violent, cathartic victory, possibly setting up a rubber match down the line.

🏆 ROH Women’s World Championship – A Clash of Styles

Athena (c) vs. Skye Blue

Athena, the dominant ROH Women’s World Champion, has been a fighting champion, taking on all challengers with ruthless aggression. But Skye Blue represents a fresh challenge—a high-flying, resilient competitor who has rapidly risen through the ranks.

Blue’s speed and aerial offense could give Athena problems, but the champion’s vicious striking and ring IQ make her a formidable obstacle. Will Athena continue her reign of terror, or will Skye Blue pull off the upset of her career?

Prediction: Athena retains, but Skye Blue proves she belongs in the main event scene, possibly earning a future rematch.

🔥 Tag Team Turmoil: The Foundation vs. The Briscoes

FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) vs. The Briscoe Brothers (Jay & Mark Briscoe)

Tag team wrestling doesn’t get any better than this. FTR, one of the greatest tag teams of all time, will collide with The Briscoe Brothers, ROH legends who have defined tag team wrestling for over two decades.

This is a dream match with old-school storytelling, hard-hitting action, and undeniable chemistry. Both teams have a history of stealing the show, and with pride, legacy, and possibly future title opportunities on the line, neither will hold back.

Prediction: A classic that could go either way, but FTR might edge out a victory to set up a future title match.

⚡ High-Stakes Showdown: The Pure Rules Challenge

Wheeler Yuta vs. Daniel Garcia – Pure Championship #1 Contender’s Match

Two of the brightest young stars in ROH, Wheeler Yuta and Daniel Garcia, will battle under Pure Rules to determine the next challenger for the ROH Pure Championship. Both men are technical wizards, and with limited rope breaks and strict rules in place, this will be a chess match of submissions, counters, and mat wrestling.

Yuta’s discipline versus Garcia’s unorthodox style makes for a fascinating clash. The winner could be next in line for a shot at Katsuyori Shibata’s Pure Championship.

Prediction: Garcia squeaks out a win with a surprise submission, setting up a future classic against Shibata.

💥 The X-Factor: Surprise Returns & Debuts?

ROH events are known for their shocking moments, and April 10 could deliver another major surprise. Rumors have been swirling about:

  • A potential return of a former ROH legend (could it be Samoa Joe, CM Punk, or Bryan Danielson?)
  • A major debut from a free agent (Mercedes Moné? Jay White?)
  • A wildcard appearance from an AEW or NJPW star

With Tony Khan’s connections, anything is possible.

🎟️ How to Watch ROH Wrestling Live – April 10, 2025

  • Date: April 10, 2025
  • Time: 8 PM EST / 5 PM PST
  • Where to Watch: ROH HonorClub, Bleacher Report, FITE TV, or traditional PPV
  • Ticket Info: Limited seats may still be available at the venue—check ROH’s official website for last-minute availability.

Final Thoughts: Why You Can’t Miss This Event

ROH continues to deliver must-see wrestling, blending hard-hitting action, compelling storytelling, and unpredictable moments. April 10’s card is stacked from top to bottom, featuring:

✅ A World Title clash between two powerhouses
✅ A blood feud settled under No DQ rules
✅ A women’s division showcase with Athena vs. Skye Blue
✅ A tag team dream match for the ages
✅ A technical masterpiece in Yuta vs. Garcia

Will championships change hands? Will new rivalries emerge? Will a shocking debut or return shake the foundation of ROH?

Tune in LIVE on April 10 to find out!

Very good show

March 11, 2025

I think his Ic run being so long hurt him as a credible world champion. It’s like he fought all the same guys and crushed them for a mid card belt now we are supposed to believe they are an actual challenge to him as a world champion? Lol when they took the intercontinental title off of him they should have moved him to SmackDown and put a new list of challengers in front of him. And moved Cody and the WWE championship to raw

Ezra

Very good episode,

March 11, 2025

imagine being deluded enough to think a multi billion dollar company with guys who literally have wrestling in their blood hot shoted a heel turn storyline because they booked themselves into a corner. are you serious dude? that is the most ridiculous thing i have read in a minute lol. good luck bro.

Rowan

Great episode.

March 11, 2025

Punk/Cody was there for the taking and Cena could’ve gone up against Gunther.

They knee jerked a heel turn because they booked themselves into a nepotism corner

Hudson

Very good show

March 11, 2025

honestly don’t get the hate. like sure, there’s no major story here YET. But Punk/Rollins/Reigns has a lot of potential to be a high quality match. I’m legit looking forward to it and love that these three have wound up in a match together.

Willie

Great episode.

March 11, 2025

The triple threat match between them at Wrestlemania is gonna be awesome. Super stoked for this match

Gary

Great show

March 10, 2025

Let’s mention the women’s match in every live/hate challenge. Easiest task for this group of “journalists” ever. Each one of these love/hates are more embarrassing than the last. We get it, women’s wrestling is amazing and should main event every show and if a women’s match is bad it’s because where it is on the card or the booking it’s never the talent, all the women are top tier wrestlers.

Gerald

Very good show

March 10, 2025

You wanna find out who the real simps and shills are? Mark down anybody who defends that main event match! Even the diehard AEW fans are crapping on that main event. It was terrible.

This Moxley stuff is stinking out the entire show and the dude seems to think he is Brock Lesnar.

The sad part is that this wasn’t a terrible show overall and with all things taken into an account. But at the end of the day, a bad ending can ruin a whole show for a lot of people. “Game of Thrones season 8” style.

Frank

Great show

March 10, 2025

So the crux of it all is that the PLE started strong…then ended with a sour belch.

The fans most remember how you left them and the fans are going to remember this show with a resounding “bleh”!

And any casual fan who watched with their buddies who are more diehard fans, may have left the viewing saying aloud, “That guy was pretty good. He should go to WWE”.

Evelyn

Great show.

March 10, 2025

I’ve said before but I think one of the issues here is that Tony is a massive fan of NJPW and often looks to emulate their PPV card structure. NJPW cards typically build to a climax with the big matches back to back and tend not to feature cool down matches or spots. Problem is western audiences haven’t been conditioned for that over the last 40 years, so often results in burnout. Personally I would have laid out the card like below giving breathing spaces, opening with the Steel Cage match and building to the Hollywood Ending as the main event.

Storm vs. May

Mox vs. Cope

Hangman vs. MJF

Hurt Syndicate vs. Outrunners

Takeshita vs. Omega

Swerve vs. Ricochet

Okada vs. King

Mone vs. Watanabe

Ospreay vs. Fletcher

Willie

Great episode.

March 10, 2025

Very good show, but the ending is what people remember. WWE ended Elimination Chamber with a huge heel turn. AEW ended Revolution with that abominable ending.

it doesn’t totally undo a great show, but it might have done more harm than good.

Christian

Very good show

March 10, 2025

I can already see Trips the mark statues, Trips the mark with a 20 minutes speech, the camera focusing onTrips the mark every 30 seconds when he is on the crowd.

Oliver

Great show.

March 10, 2025

I’m glad they are bringing it back to a nice venue. The idea of hosting it immediately after Smackdown is insane. Why not put a highlight show or broadcast the Hall of Fame instead of airing Smackdown that week.
