The women’s division needs more time badly. Mia and Zelina hardly appear and the witches after jumping the kabuki warriors i guess got away with it? Hopefully Asuka and Kairi cost the witches the match.
And Bianca needs to move to Raw or something, tired of her versus Damage CTRL
SmackDown is my favourite show right now.
That said I think the women’s division needs a lot of work. They only ever get one segment. Bianca continues to be the main focus. Damage CTRL is just the same stuff week after week. Hoping things pick up after the Rumble
Really loving the focus on non-title tag team feuds. The LWO v. LDF feud is to me the best thing
Bayley’s face turn has so much potential. I’m expecting a Jey USO-like character arc where the rest of the division aren’t willing to forgive her.
My main issue is why there’s no payoff to Fyre and Dawn attacking Asuka and Kairi. Why aren’t they calling out the witches? Makes them really stupid.

Randy should have been attacked
& taken out at the beginning of the show if they wanted him to have the surprise return. For the heels to be disadvantaged and on their heels all episode, even the odds for a minute, and then get beat down, it doesn’t feel like a cathartic win for the faces.

Nick Aldis has been such a great edition to Smackdown. He adds so many more layers and wrinkles to characters and their motivations. He also carries himself very well and I’ll never get tired of of him putting Heyman in his place either lol.

On a serious note, my hot take tonight is that Damage CTRL came across as more face like than Bayley. Bayley took shortcuts constantly in the match, and was cheating her ass off through the entire thing. Contrast that to last week, where Iyo won her match completely clean without cheating at all, and with no Damage CTRL at ringside. So I really don’t see how we are expected to cheer for Bayley here, because “but what about the sympathy” card might work with people online, but if they continue to push that Asuka, Kairi, and Iyo don’t need to cheat to win their matches, then Bayley’s face turn is dead in the water before it even started. All casual fans saw was Bayley cheating tonight and being a massive heel, and Damage CTRL just watching. Meanwhile Iyo wins completely clean last week.
Basically and I fully expect to catch downvotes for this, because it goes against the popular opinion, but I don’t think this is leading to a Bayley face turn. This feels like its leading to an Iyo, Asuka, and Kairi turn, because people here seem to forget that casual audiences REALLY want to get behind Iyo right now. She gets people into her matches almost every time.

Did Alba and Isla do anything since attacking Kairi and Asuka a few weeks ago, them getting a title shot is a tad random but whatever I’m here for it. If they won out of nowhere after 7 months of doing fuck all I’d kinda love it 😭.
