ROH Wrestling 3/20/25: A Night of Chaos, Glory, and Unforgettable Moments – Live Online Preview
The world of professional wrestling is a stage where athleticism, drama, and storytelling collide in a symphony of chaos and glory. And when it comes to Ring of Honor (ROH), the stakes are always high, the action is always intense, and the moments are always unforgettable. On March 20, 2025, ROH Wrestling returns with a live event that promises to be nothing short of spectacular. Whether you’re a die-hard fan or a casual viewer, this is one night you won’t want to miss. So, buckle up as we dive deep into the preview of ROH Wrestling’s 3/20/25 event, streaming live online for fans around the globe.
The Stage is Set: What Makes ROH Wrestling Special?
Before we get into the nitty-gritty of the event, let’s take a moment to appreciate what makes ROH Wrestling stand out in the crowded world of professional wrestling. Founded in 2002, ROH has built a reputation for delivering hard-hitting, technical, and emotionally charged matches. It’s a promotion that values in-ring storytelling above all else, where every move, every counter, and every submission holds meaning. ROH is where future legends are born, and where established stars push themselves to their absolute limits.
The 3/20/25 event is no exception. With a card stacked with dream matches, title defenses, and personal rivalries, this night is poised to be a defining moment in ROH history. So, let’s break it down match by match, moment by moment, and explore why this event is a must-watch.
Main Event: The ROH World Championship – A Clash of Titans
The main event of the evening features the ROH World Championship on the line as the reigning champion, “The Apex Predator” Marcus Steele, defends his title against the challenger, “The Phenomenal” Adrian Cole. This match has been months in the making, with Cole earning his shot after a grueling tournament that saw him defeat some of ROH’s finest.
Marcus Steele, a dominant champion with a ruthless streak, has held the title for over 300 days, dismantling every opponent in his path. His combination of brute strength and technical prowess makes him a nearly unstoppable force. But Adrian Cole is no ordinary challenger. Known for his high-flying maneuvers and unparalleled resilience, Cole has the heart of a warrior and the skill to back it up.
The build-up to this match has been electric. Steele has mocked Cole’s underdog status, calling him “too small, too weak, and too naive” to dethrone him. Cole, on the other hand, has vowed to prove that heart and determination can overcome even the most insurmountable odds. The tension between these two is palpable, and when the bell rings, expect nothing less than an all-out war.
Why You Should Watch: This is more than just a title match; it’s a battle of ideologies. Can the underdog rise to the occasion, or will the predator continue his reign of terror? The outcome will shape the future of ROH for years to come.
Grudge Match: The Blood Feud – Tyler Cross vs. Damian Black
If there’s one match that has personal stakes written all over it, it’s the grudge match between Tyler Cross and Damian Black. These two have been at each other’s throats for months, with their rivalry escalating from heated words to outright violence. The animosity reached its peak when Black cost Cross a shot at the ROH Television Championship, leading to a backstage brawl that had to be broken up by security.
Cross, a fan favorite known for his high-energy style and never-say-die attitude, has sworn to make Black pay for his treachery. Black, a cunning and ruthless heel, has reveled in his role as the villain, taunting Cross at every opportunity. This match isn’t just about winning; it’s about pride, revenge, and settling the score once and for all.
Why You Should Watch: Grudge matches in ROH are always brutal, and this one promises to be no different. Expect chairs, tables, and maybe even a few surprises as these two tear each other apart in the name of vengeance.
Tag Team Turmoil: The ROH World Tag Team Championship
The ROH World Tag Team Championship will also be on the line as the reigning champions, The Iron Alliance (Jax Stone & Victor Kane), face off against the high-flying duo of Skybound (Elijah Vega & Zane Carter). The Iron Alliance has been a dominant force in the tag team division, using their brute strength and unbreakable bond to crush their opponents. But Skybound brings a different kind of challenge, with their aerial assaults and seamless teamwork.
The build-up to this match has been intense, with Skybound accusing The Iron Alliance of being “one-dimensional” and The Iron Alliance dismissing Skybound as “spot monkeys.” The clash of styles makes this match a must-see, as it’s anyone’s guess who will walk away with the gold.
Why You Should Watch: Tag team wrestling is an art form, and ROH has some of the best tag teams in the world. This match is a showcase of contrasting styles, and the chemistry between both teams is sure to deliver a classic.
Women’s Division Showcase: The ROH Women’s World Championship
The ROH Women’s World Championship will also be defended as the champion, “The Queen of Hearts” Serena Blake, takes on the challenger, “The Phoenix” Layla Hart. Serena Blake has been a dominant champion, using her technical mastery and unshakable confidence to outclass her opponents. But Layla Hart is a rising star, known for her resilience and ability to rise from the ashes of defeat.
This match is a testament to the growth of the ROH women’s division, which has become a cornerstone of the promotion. Both women have promised to steal the show, and given their track records, they just might.
Why You Should Watch: The women of ROH consistently deliver some of the best matches on the card, and this one is no exception. It’s a battle of skill, heart, and determination.
The Wildcard: A Mystery Opponent
In true ROH fashion, there’s always room for a surprise. Rumors have been swirling about a mystery opponent making their debut or return at the 3/20/25 event. Could it be a former ROH legend coming back to reclaim their glory? Or perhaps a rising star from another promotion looking to make a name for themselves? Whatever the case, the anticipation is building, and the mystery adds an extra layer of excitement to an already stacked card.
Why You Should Watch: Because in ROH, you never know what’s going to happen. The mystery opponent could change the course of the entire night.

Very good show
I think his Ic run being so long hurt him as a credible world champion. It’s like he fought all the same guys and crushed them for a mid card belt now we are supposed to believe they are an actual challenge to him as a world champion? Lol when they took the intercontinental title off of him they should have moved him to SmackDown and put a new list of challengers in front of him. And moved Cody and the WWE championship to raw
Very good episode,
imagine being deluded enough to think a multi billion dollar company with guys who literally have wrestling in their blood hot shoted a heel turn storyline because they booked themselves into a corner. are you serious dude? that is the most ridiculous thing i have read in a minute lol. good luck bro.
Great episode.
Punk/Cody was there for the taking and Cena could’ve gone up against Gunther.
They knee jerked a heel turn because they booked themselves into a nepotism corner
Very good show
honestly don’t get the hate. like sure, there’s no major story here YET. But Punk/Rollins/Reigns has a lot of potential to be a high quality match. I’m legit looking forward to it and love that these three have wound up in a match together.
Great episode.
The triple threat match between them at Wrestlemania is gonna be awesome. Super stoked for this match
Great show
Let’s mention the women’s match in every live/hate challenge. Easiest task for this group of “journalists” ever. Each one of these love/hates are more embarrassing than the last. We get it, women’s wrestling is amazing and should main event every show and if a women’s match is bad it’s because where it is on the card or the booking it’s never the talent, all the women are top tier wrestlers.
Very good show
You wanna find out who the real simps and shills are? Mark down anybody who defends that main event match! Even the diehard AEW fans are crapping on that main event. It was terrible.
This Moxley stuff is stinking out the entire show and the dude seems to think he is Brock Lesnar.
The sad part is that this wasn’t a terrible show overall and with all things taken into an account. But at the end of the day, a bad ending can ruin a whole show for a lot of people. “Game of Thrones season 8” style.
Great show
So the crux of it all is that the PLE started strong…then ended with a sour belch.
The fans most remember how you left them and the fans are going to remember this show with a resounding “bleh”!
And any casual fan who watched with their buddies who are more diehard fans, may have left the viewing saying aloud, “That guy was pretty good. He should go to WWE”.
Great show.
I’ve said before but I think one of the issues here is that Tony is a massive fan of NJPW and often looks to emulate their PPV card structure. NJPW cards typically build to a climax with the big matches back to back and tend not to feature cool down matches or spots. Problem is western audiences haven’t been conditioned for that over the last 40 years, so often results in burnout. Personally I would have laid out the card like below giving breathing spaces, opening with the Steel Cage match and building to the Hollywood Ending as the main event.
Storm vs. May
Mox vs. Cope
Hangman vs. MJF
Hurt Syndicate vs. Outrunners
Takeshita vs. Omega
Swerve vs. Ricochet
Okada vs. King
Mone vs. Watanabe
Ospreay vs. Fletcher
Great episode.
Very good show, but the ending is what people remember. WWE ended Elimination Chamber with a huge heel turn. AEW ended Revolution with that abominable ending.
it doesn’t totally undo a great show, but it might have done more harm than good.
Very good show
I can already see Trips the mark statues, Trips the mark with a 20 minutes speech, the camera focusing onTrips the mark every 30 seconds when he is on the crowd.
Great show.
I’m glad they are bringing it back to a nice venue. The idea of hosting it immediately after Smackdown is insane. Why not put a highlight show or broadcast the Hall of Fame instead of airing Smackdown that week.
best of the best
Very good show tonight

Really don’t like that it’s the Women’s NXT North American Championship. Besides being an awkward mouthful, it’s too derivative of Men’s midcard title.
