This isn’t just another event—it’s a celebration of the future of wrestling, a showcase of raw talent, and a night where legends are born. Whether you’re a die-hard NXT fan or a casual viewer, this is the event you cannot afford to miss. From jaw-dropping matches to shocking twists, the 25th of March promises to be a night that will be etched in the annals of WWE history.
In this comprehensive preview, we’ll dive deep into the matches, rivalries, and potential surprises that await you. So, grab your popcorn, settle into your seat, and let’s get ready to witness the future of wrestling unfold live!
The Stage is Set: What Makes NXT Special?
Before we dive into the specifics of the event, let’s take a moment to appreciate what makes NXT so unique. Since its inception, NXT has been the breeding ground for WWE’s next generation of superstars. It’s where raw talent is honed, where rivalries are forged in fire, and where the line between scripted entertainment and genuine athleticism blurs. NXT isn’t just a brand—it’s a movement. And on March 25, 2025, that movement will reach new heights.
The NXT Live event on March 25 is shaping up to be one of the most stacked cards in recent memory. With a mix of established stars, rising talents, and potential debuts, this night promises to deliver everything that makes NXT the most exciting brand in wrestling today.
The Main Event: NXT Championship on the Line
At the heart of every great wrestling event is a main event that leaves fans on the edge of their seats. On March 25, the NXT Championship will be defended in what promises to be an instant classic. The reigning champion, Bron Breakker, will put his title on the line against the relentless and unpredictable Carmelo Hayes.
Bron Breakker, the second-generation superstar, has been a dominant force in NXT. His combination of raw power, agility, and intensity has made him one of the most formidable champions in recent memory. But Carmelo Hayes is no slouch. With his high-flying moves, technical prowess, and undeniable charisma, Hayes has proven time and time again that he’s a threat to anyone who steps in the ring with him.
The rivalry between these two has been building for months, with Hayes accusing Breakker of ducking him and Breakker dismissing Hayes as nothing more than a pretender. On March 25, the talking stops, and the action begins. Will Breakker continue his reign of dominance, or will Hayes finally claim the gold that has eluded him for so long? One thing is certain: this match will be a show-stealer.
Women’s Division Showdown: NXT Women’s Championship Match
The women of NXT have consistently proven that they are the backbone of the brand, and the NXT Women’s Championship match on March 25 is a testament to that. The current champion, Roxanne Perez, will defend her title against the fierce and determined Tiffany Stratton.
Roxanne Perez has been a revelation since her debut, capturing the hearts of fans with her underdog story and never-say-die attitude. But Tiffany Stratton is a force to be reckoned with. A former gymnast with unparalleled athleticism and a mean streak to match, Stratton has been on a warpath, dismantling everyone in her way to get to Perez.
This match is more than just a title bout—it’s a clash of styles, personalities, and ideologies. Perez represents the heart and soul of NXT, while Stratton embodies the ruthless ambition that drives the brand forward. Who will emerge victorious? Tune in to find out.
Tag Team Turmoil: NXT Tag Team Championship Match
The tag team division in NXT has always been a highlight, and the NXT Tag Team Championship match on March 25 is no exception. The reigning champions, The Creed Brothers, will defend their titles against the high-flying duo of Wes Lee and Dante Chen.
The Creed Brothers, with their amateur wrestling background and brute strength, have been a dominant force in the tag team division. But Wes Lee and Dante Chen bring a completely different dynamic to the table. Known for their speed, agility, and innovative offense, Lee and Chen have been on a roll, earning their shot at the titles.
This match promises to be a thrilling encounter, with both teams bringing their A-game. Will The Creed Brothers continue their reign of terror, or will Lee and Chen’s high-risk, high-reward style pay off? One thing’s for sure: the tag team division will never be the same after this match.
Grudge Match: Ilja Dragunov vs. Dijak
When it comes to pure intensity, few rivalries in NXT can match the animosity between Ilja Dragunov and Dijak. These two warriors have been at each other’s throats for months, and on March 25, they’ll finally settle their differences in the ring.
Ilja Dragunov, known as “The Mad Dragon,” is a man who thrives in chaos. His brutal, no-holds-barred style has made him one of the most feared competitors in NXT. But Dijak is no stranger to violence. A powerhouse with a mean streak, Dijak has made it clear that he’s willing to do whatever it takes to destroy Dragunov.
This match is guaranteed to be a hard-hitting, brutal affair. Expect stiff strikes, devastating power moves, and a level of intensity that will leave the crowd breathless. When the dust settles, only one man will be left standing.
Breakout Star Showcase: Axiom vs. Nathan Frazer
One of the most exciting aspects of NXT is the opportunity to see the next generation of superstars in action. On March 25, two of NXT’s brightest young talents, Axiom and Nathan Frazer, will go head-to-head in what promises to be a high-octane match.
Axiom, with his mysterious persona and innovative offense, has quickly become a fan favorite. Nathan Frazer, on the other hand, is a speed demon with a knack for pulling off the impossible. Both men are hungry to prove themselves, and this match is the perfect opportunity to do just that.
Expect a fast-paced, high-flying encounter that will leave the crowd in awe. This is the future of NXT, and it’s looking brighter than ever.
Potential Surprises and Debuts
No NXT event would be complete without a few surprises, and March 25 is shaping up to be no exception. Rumors have been swirling about potential debuts and returns, and if history is any indication, NXT always delivers when it comes to shocking moments.
Could we see the debut of a highly-touted prospect from the WWE Performance Center? Or perhaps the return of a former NXT superstar looking to reclaim their glory? Whatever happens, one thing is certain: the WWE Universe will be talking about it for weeks to come.
How to Watch WWE NXT Live on March 25, 2025

Very good show
I think his Ic run being so long hurt him as a credible world champion. It’s like he fought all the same guys and crushed them for a mid card belt now we are supposed to believe they are an actual challenge to him as a world champion? Lol when they took the intercontinental title off of him they should have moved him to SmackDown and put a new list of challengers in front of him. And moved Cody and the WWE championship to raw
Very good episode,
imagine being deluded enough to think a multi billion dollar company with guys who literally have wrestling in their blood hot shoted a heel turn storyline because they booked themselves into a corner. are you serious dude? that is the most ridiculous thing i have read in a minute lol. good luck bro.
Great episode.
Punk/Cody was there for the taking and Cena could’ve gone up against Gunther.
They knee jerked a heel turn because they booked themselves into a nepotism corner
Very good show
honestly don’t get the hate. like sure, there’s no major story here YET. But Punk/Rollins/Reigns has a lot of potential to be a high quality match. I’m legit looking forward to it and love that these three have wound up in a match together.
Great episode.
The triple threat match between them at Wrestlemania is gonna be awesome. Super stoked for this match
Great show
Let’s mention the women’s match in every live/hate challenge. Easiest task for this group of “journalists” ever. Each one of these love/hates are more embarrassing than the last. We get it, women’s wrestling is amazing and should main event every show and if a women’s match is bad it’s because where it is on the card or the booking it’s never the talent, all the women are top tier wrestlers.
Very good show
You wanna find out who the real simps and shills are? Mark down anybody who defends that main event match! Even the diehard AEW fans are crapping on that main event. It was terrible.
This Moxley stuff is stinking out the entire show and the dude seems to think he is Brock Lesnar.
The sad part is that this wasn’t a terrible show overall and with all things taken into an account. But at the end of the day, a bad ending can ruin a whole show for a lot of people. “Game of Thrones season 8” style.
Great show
So the crux of it all is that the PLE started strong…then ended with a sour belch.
The fans most remember how you left them and the fans are going to remember this show with a resounding “bleh”!
And any casual fan who watched with their buddies who are more diehard fans, may have left the viewing saying aloud, “That guy was pretty good. He should go to WWE”.
Great show.
I’ve said before but I think one of the issues here is that Tony is a massive fan of NJPW and often looks to emulate their PPV card structure. NJPW cards typically build to a climax with the big matches back to back and tend not to feature cool down matches or spots. Problem is western audiences haven’t been conditioned for that over the last 40 years, so often results in burnout. Personally I would have laid out the card like below giving breathing spaces, opening with the Steel Cage match and building to the Hollywood Ending as the main event.
Storm vs. May
Mox vs. Cope
Hangman vs. MJF
Hurt Syndicate vs. Outrunners
Takeshita vs. Omega
Swerve vs. Ricochet
Okada vs. King
Mone vs. Watanabe
Ospreay vs. Fletcher
Great episode.
Very good show, but the ending is what people remember. WWE ended Elimination Chamber with a huge heel turn. AEW ended Revolution with that abominable ending.
it doesn’t totally undo a great show, but it might have done more harm than good.
Very good show
I can already see Trips the mark statues, Trips the mark with a 20 minutes speech, the camera focusing onTrips the mark every 30 seconds when he is on the crowd.
Great show.
I’m glad they are bringing it back to a nice venue. The idea of hosting it immediately after Smackdown is insane. Why not put a highlight show or broadcast the Hall of Fame instead of airing Smackdown that week.
best of the best
Very good show tonight

Really don’t like that it’s the Women’s NXT North American Championship.
Really don’t like that it’s the Women’s NXT North American Championship. Besides being an awkward mouthful, it’s too derivative of Men’s midcard title.
