From championship clashes to personal vendettas, this night is shaping up to be a defining moment in AEW history. So, grab your popcorn, settle in, and let’s get ready for the collision of a lifetime.
The Stage Is Set: What Makes AEW Collision Live Special?
AEW has consistently raised the bar for professional wrestling since its inception, and AEW Collision Live is no exception. This event is more than just a wrestling show—it’s a cultural phenomenon. With a stacked card featuring some of the biggest names in the industry, AEW Collision Live is poised to deliver a night of unforgettable moments that will be talked about for years to come.
What sets AEW apart is its commitment to storytelling, athleticism, and fan engagement. Every match on the card has a purpose, every rivalry has depth, and every moment is designed to keep you on the edge of your seat. AEW Collision Live is not just about the in-ring action; it’s about the emotional investment, the larger-than-life characters, and the unpredictable twists that make professional wrestling so captivating.
The Main Event: A Clash of Titans
The main event of AEW Collision Live is a match that has been months in the making. Two of the biggest stars in AEW, Kenny Omega and MJF, are set to collide in a match that could very well define their careers. This isn’t just a battle for supremacy; it’s a clash of ideologies. On one side, you have Kenny Omega, the “Best Bout Machine,” a technical mastermind who has proven time and time again that he is one of the greatest wrestlers of all time. On the other side, you have MJF, the self-proclaimed “Salt of the Earth,” a cunning and ruthless competitor who will do whatever it takes to win.
The build-up to this match has been nothing short of spectacular. Omega, the face of AEW’s elite in-ring performers, has been on a mission to prove that he is still the best in the world. Meanwhile, MJF has been playing mind games, using his silver tongue to get under Omega’s skin and gain a psychological edge. The tension between these two has reached a boiling point, and at AEW Collision Live, it will finally explode.
This match has all the makings of an instant classic. Will Omega’s unparalleled in-ring prowess be enough to overcome MJF’s underhanded tactics? Or will MJF’s cunning and ruthlessness prove to be too much for the “Best Bout Machine”? One thing is for sure: this is a match you do not want to miss.
The AEW World Championship: A Battle for Legacy
The AEW World Championship is the most prestigious title in the company, and at AEW Collision Live, the reigning champion, Hangman Adam Page, will defend his title against the relentless Swerve Strickland. This match is more than just a title defense; it’s a battle for legacy.
Hangman Adam Page has been on an incredible journey since winning the AEW World Championship. From overcoming personal demons to proving his doubters wrong, Hangman has solidified his place as one of the top stars in AEW. However, his reign as champion has been anything but easy. Swerve Strickland, a rising star with a chip on his shoulder, has been a thorn in Hangman’s side for months. Swerve’s unorthodox style and relentless aggression have made him a formidable challenger, and he’s made it clear that he will stop at nothing to take the title from Hangman.
The stakes couldn’t be higher for this match. For Hangman, it’s about proving that he is still the man to beat in AEW. For Swerve, it’s about cementing his place as a main-event player. With both men willing to leave it all in the ring, this match has the potential to steal the show.
The Tag Team Division: Chaos and Carnage
AEW’s tag team division is widely regarded as one of the best in the world, and at AEW Collision Live, the tag team titles will be on the line in a match that promises to be pure chaos. The reigning champions, FTR, will defend their titles against the high-flying duo of The Young Bucks.
This match is a dream come true for tag team wrestling fans. FTR, known for their old-school, no-nonsense style, have been on a tear since winning the titles, proving that they are one of the greatest tag teams of all time. The Young Bucks, on the other hand, are the epitome of modern tag team wrestling, with their high-flying moves and innovative offense.
The rivalry between these two teams is deeply personal. FTR and The Young Bucks have faced off before, but this match feels different. Both teams have something to prove, and both teams are willing to do whatever it takes to walk out as champions. Expect a fast-paced, hard-hitting match that will leave you breathless.
The Women’s Division: A New Era Begins
The AEW women’s division has been on the rise in recent years, and at AEW Collision Live, the women will take center stage in a match that could change the landscape of the division. The AEW Women’s World Champion, Thunder Rosa, will defend her title against the up-and-coming star, Julia Hart.
Thunder Rosa has been a dominant champion, but Julia Hart has been on a meteoric rise. With her unique in-ring style and undeniable charisma, Julia has quickly become one of the most popular stars in AEW. This match is a classic case of experience vs. youth, and it will be fascinating to see who comes out on top.
The Wildcards: What Surprises Are in Store?
One of the things that makes AEW so exciting is its unpredictability. At AEW Collision Live, fans can expect the unexpected. Will we see surprise debuts? Shocking returns? Unforgettable moments that will leave the wrestling world buzzing? The possibilities are endless, and that’s what makes AEW Collision Live so exciting.

Very good show
I think his Ic run being so long hurt him as a credible world champion. It’s like he fought all the same guys and crushed them for a mid card belt now we are supposed to believe they are an actual challenge to him as a world champion? Lol when they took the intercontinental title off of him they should have moved him to SmackDown and put a new list of challengers in front of him. And moved Cody and the WWE championship to raw
Very good episode,
imagine being deluded enough to think a multi billion dollar company with guys who literally have wrestling in their blood hot shoted a heel turn storyline because they booked themselves into a corner. are you serious dude? that is the most ridiculous thing i have read in a minute lol. good luck bro.
Great episode.
Punk/Cody was there for the taking and Cena could’ve gone up against Gunther.
They knee jerked a heel turn because they booked themselves into a nepotism corner
Very good show
honestly don’t get the hate. like sure, there’s no major story here YET. But Punk/Rollins/Reigns has a lot of potential to be a high quality match. I’m legit looking forward to it and love that these three have wound up in a match together.
Great episode.
The triple threat match between them at Wrestlemania is gonna be awesome. Super stoked for this match
Great show
Let’s mention the women’s match in every live/hate challenge. Easiest task for this group of “journalists” ever. Each one of these love/hates are more embarrassing than the last. We get it, women’s wrestling is amazing and should main event every show and if a women’s match is bad it’s because where it is on the card or the booking it’s never the talent, all the women are top tier wrestlers.
Very good show
You wanna find out who the real simps and shills are? Mark down anybody who defends that main event match! Even the diehard AEW fans are crapping on that main event. It was terrible.
This Moxley stuff is stinking out the entire show and the dude seems to think he is Brock Lesnar.
The sad part is that this wasn’t a terrible show overall and with all things taken into an account. But at the end of the day, a bad ending can ruin a whole show for a lot of people. “Game of Thrones season 8” style.
Great show
So the crux of it all is that the PLE started strong…then ended with a sour belch.
The fans most remember how you left them and the fans are going to remember this show with a resounding “bleh”!
And any casual fan who watched with their buddies who are more diehard fans, may have left the viewing saying aloud, “That guy was pretty good. He should go to WWE”.
Great show.
I’ve said before but I think one of the issues here is that Tony is a massive fan of NJPW and often looks to emulate their PPV card structure. NJPW cards typically build to a climax with the big matches back to back and tend not to feature cool down matches or spots. Problem is western audiences haven’t been conditioned for that over the last 40 years, so often results in burnout. Personally I would have laid out the card like below giving breathing spaces, opening with the Steel Cage match and building to the Hollywood Ending as the main event.
Storm vs. May
Mox vs. Cope
Hangman vs. MJF
Hurt Syndicate vs. Outrunners
Takeshita vs. Omega
Swerve vs. Ricochet
Okada vs. King
Mone vs. Watanabe
Ospreay vs. Fletcher
Great episode.
Very good show, but the ending is what people remember. WWE ended Elimination Chamber with a huge heel turn. AEW ended Revolution with that abominable ending.
it doesn’t totally undo a great show, but it might have done more harm than good.
Very good show
I can already see Trips the mark statues, Trips the mark with a 20 minutes speech, the camera focusing onTrips the mark every 30 seconds when he is on the crowd.
Great show.
I’m glad they are bringing it back to a nice venue. The idea of hosting it immediately after Smackdown is insane. Why not put a highlight show or broadcast the Hall of Fame instead of airing Smackdown that week.
best of the best
Very good show tonight
