DID YOU ENJOY WWE RAW ON OCTOBER 2ND 2023?
Very good show and great main event!,
and they finally decided to bring Gargano back!.
Will Dom regain the title tomorrow?
Cody and Jey in SD this Friday sounds interesting, although with the DIY reunion I don’t think they will win in fastlane.
Great promo from Seth.
Shin is an evil genius, I really want him to be world champion.
RAW delivered again.
You’d think by now people wouldn’t get so worked up over the previews beforehand.
I’m loving EVERYTHING WITH Nakamura and Drew. My two personal MVPs the past month.
Glad to finally have Gargano back. Ciampa vs Gunther was fantastic.
Glad to see Gargano back,
REALLY glad to see DIY back. Could see them in a tag title program against whoever have those belts at Mania.
This was a pretty good Raw
Great to have Mami back, the chemistry with her and Dom is too good
This inevitable heel turn for Drew is one of my favorite story right now
Gunther vs Ciampa was a absolute banger glad it got to main event
The judgment day is basically fast and furious 1
. JD is Brian and Priest is Vince saying he’s a cop. Finn is Dom, Dom is Jesse and Rhea is Letty.
Dragunov v Gunther again,
I don’t care how long I have to wait to see Dragunov v Gunther again, but it’s gotta happen. Both of them have leveled up to god tier since their last battle—and their last battle was already friggin incredible.
Solid show.
Good in ring stuff. Every segment felt like it mattered.
Also Gunther does more to put people over than the world champs.
Gable has looked amazing and they got Ciampa some fans tonight too
The Dirty Dom rub?
As crazy as it sounds Dom being NA champion has given a huge spotlight to NXT talent because Dom is so over right now people will watch anything with him.
The Dirty Dom rub?
Also Bryan Alvarez reported earlier today that Dom was never supposed to lose at No Mercy to Ali. So this was probably to get Trick on RAW and Dom and Dragon Lee will probably run it back at Halloween Havoc for the title and have a full circle Rey vs Eddie moment.
I honestly given up on DIY reuniting
I honestly given up on DIY reuniting so once I heard Gargano’s music. I think I might’ve made a loud noise.
It’s too bad that Damien Priest
It’s too bad that Damien Priest wasn’t medically cleared to cash in Rollins who was really ripe for the picking after that beatdown by Shinsuke Nakamura. I get it, reasons and all but still, Priest could’ve slow walked to the ring and stood with one foot on Rollins for the cash in lol
I keep seeing posts about the feed cutting out before DIY hit their finisher.
Over here the show ended after they hit the move, anyone else watching internationally have the same thing happen?
BUT THEN THE USA NETWORK CUT TO A GINGER DOLL AND RUINED IT
HHH saw all the complaints about tonight’s card and said “Aight imma drop the best Raw of the year”
Fuck yeah DIY lets gooooooooooo!
These two together on the main roster as a tag team again will be absolute magic. Hopefully they can recapture some of that magic that made them big in NXT.
smile so much.
That ending made me smile so much.
I wouldn’t care too much about the reaction.
They didn’t care about Ciampa before that match tonight. One DIY banger and they’ll have the crowd again.
The crowd may have seemed indifferent about Johnny,
The crowd may have seemed indifferent about Johnny, but I can understand it given that he hasn’t been featured in a long time, and that theme is terrible. So they might’ve not realized at first. Give DIY time and they’ll have the crowd behind them in no time. It took one match for Ciampa to turn that crowd around.
Next week should be big for the women’s division. Becky vs Tegan and Nia vs Raquel are both big matches and I’m excited for next week.
I liked the big lady brawl at the start of the show, it was good and Rhea beating up the security guards was awesome. That Fatal 4 Way sounds very entertaining if it happens. Raquel vs Nia next week should be teasing something big and I’m interested.
However does anyone else feel like that Rhea’s return in relation to the women’s championship story was underwhelming? Nia took her out for weeks and she interacts with her for like 10 seconds then after the pull apart she’s basically like “lol who cares about my women’s title, Nia injuring me, or these other two ladies I just fought with let’s talk about Judgement Day!”. Like she didnt care enough to talk about Nia very much for some reason. That basically sums up her whole title reign though so whatever. Also we just never saw Nia, Raquel, or Shayna again after that brawl, I wish there would’ve been a followup on their end.
Anyways on a more positive note, I liked Tegan vs Chelsea despite it lasting like 2 minutes. (Not the one women’s match of the night being that short after not doing the advertised Nia vs Shayna 💀) I still get nervous for Tegan’s knees but she’s been doing solid in these short matches. The Molly Go Round into the shiniest wizard was a good finish. Also that backstage segment with Chelsea saying she hates complainers was great
I’m fine with putting Tegan and Nattie together, they wont be top singles stars anytime soon and could work well together in a division that needs more people. I dont like that Katana/Kayden, Dawn/Fyre, and Candice/Indi (though with Johnny back their fortunes might change) arent getting to do anything because Chelsea and Piper keep interacting with random people though. About next week, prayers that everything goes right so they can finally have that match lol
Pretty good show
Triple h was definitely responsible for that main event.
Edge and Christian back in the same ring on Sunday,
Ciampa and Gargano on Monday. What a time to be a wrestling fan.
these tag teams
Ok NOW split the tag belts and do something with all these tag teams
Well, guess the fans got their moneys worth at the end.
But it’s about time the band got back together! Hopefully this is the missing piece for Gargano on the Main Roster.
DIY on the main roster is good for the division
Bit of a rushed ending but happy Johnny is back. DIY on the main roster is good for the division
Please give Gargano his old theme back.
Please give Gargano his old theme back. The audience had no clue who’s music even hit so he got less of a reaction. The song isn’t even good anyway. In good news, I love a DIY reunion.
A tag division of DiY, Alpha Academy,
A tag division of DiY, Alpha Academy, New Day, KO/Sami, Judgment Day, Imperium, and the Viking Raiders just sounds incredible
That Rhea/Dom segment is already breaking WWE’s social media platforms.
That may have been the most compelling first 20 minutes of RAW ever. No wonder the WWE is investing in Judgment Day so much.
They are versatile and can do anything asked of them: Drama, comedy, tension, cool heels, clumsy heels. Rhea, Dom and Damian have elevated their games. Their facial expressions were on point.
That Rhea/Dom segment is already breaking WWE’s social media platforms.
Should be nominated for an audience member of 2023.
Whoever said “She’s gonna spank that ass Dom!” Should be nominated for an audience member of 2023.
They should be champions before too long
DIY is exactly what will most benefit both guys. They should be champions before too long
FUCK CHUCKY!
But for real, does Gunther know this was just a random Raw. it’s like he treats every match like it’s a wrestlemania main event, he goes 200% every match he has. One of the best in the world.
USA Network
USA Network is not a big fan of #DIY I guess.
Triple H is starting
It didn’t work last year, but Triple H is starting to get black and gold over on the main roster.
We got a lot of tag teams now.
Ok, let’s split the tag titles now. We got a lot of tag teams now.
Gunther has been killing it.
Chad Gable was been really endearing to me recently. He’s such a great friend to Otis when he messes up in a world of tag partners hating each other for minor mistakes lol. I’m hoping he does get his moment against Gunther.
Also rare moment where someone breaks the record for longest reign and doesn’t lose it in their first defense after. Gunther has been killing it.
fucking USA cut out
I tuned in specifically for that moment and fucking USA cut out before they did the meet in the middle
Gargano and Ciampa
Gargano and Ciampa as a team should be enough to get them going. I don’t think they’ll ever be main event guys but they’re clearly two really good talents. they should have some bangers with Imperium.
Also cutting right at the right moment, so bad
If it was Old theme then i’d pop so hard for Gargano, but the new theme degraded it alot
WWE didn’t go the usual route
I’m really glad that WWE didn’t go the usual route where a champion sets a record then loses the next time they defend.
It’s ridiculous.
I completely understand that they used to abuse it, but wrestling absolutely NEEDS to be able to have an overrun.
Good stuff overall even if three hours really is long.
Honestly don’t say this a lot since Raw went three hours but a good show IMO. I like what WWE has been building up lately. Jey being elevated as a main eventer is great. Judgment Day is awesome and adds a lot to the show. Drew has a really interesting buildup going on now. Nakamura seems a bit like a filler feud but it’s been entertaining and he’s doing a great job. Gunther is great, and I really enjoyed the promo with Ciampa AND the match. I’m not a fan of Gargano so not excited about DIY but that was a great IC title match that made me think Ciampa might take the belt. And in the midcard, Alpha Academy, New Day, Viking Raiders have been putting on really entertaining matches. Bronson is being built up and he seems cool.
I feel bad for Natalya..
You know… I feel bad for Natalya… She’s pretty much damaged goods and unsalvageable at this point given the fact that she’s been there since 2008
Her character is basically being schizophrenic over here being a heel one minute and then the next minute she’s over here being a babyface trying to offer words of encouragement and celebrating with Tegan Nox…
She’s a really great worker and she gave Rhea Ripley one of her best matches as Smackdown Women’s Champion on Monday Night Raw and you can hear a lot about how she coaches and helps out with training a lot of younger talent not just down in NXT but also even on the main roster as well with Tyson Kidd / TJ Wilson.
Side note: Currently, who do you guys think is the better and more interesting champion, Roman Reigns or Seth “Freakin” Rollins? 🤔
please let Nakamura win.
I’m a big fan of Rollins but please let Nakamura win.
Gunther ain’t losing
Is clear that Gunther ain’t losing that title for a bit. He’s probably going to kill Gargano next.
Did Cedric injure his hip hitting the floor?
He seemed to have a hitch in his step afterward—the ending felt rushed and I wonder if he got hurt or if I was reading too much into things.

Additional Analysis
Here are some additional thoughts and analysis on the WWE RAW results from October 2, 2023:
- Rhea Ripley’s ultimatum to Dominik Mysterio: This is a very interesting development, and it will be interesting to see how Mysterio responds. If he is unable to win the North American Championship next week, it could lead to some tension between him and Ripley.
- Rhea Ripley vs. Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso: This should be a very good match, and it will be interesting to see how Ripley interacts with Rhodes and Uso. Rhodes and Uso are two of the top stars in WWE, and this match could help to elevate Ripley’s status even further.
- Seth Rollins calls out Roman Reigns: This is the feud that everyone has been waiting for, and it looks like it is finally going to happen. Rollins and Reigns are two of the best wrestlers in WWE, and they have a lot of history together. This match is sure to be a blockbuster, and it will be the biggest match of Rollins’ career since he returned to WWE in 2021.
- The Bloodline attacks Seth Rollins: This attack was a good way to build heat for the Rollins vs. Reigns match. It also showed that The Bloodline is still the dominant faction in WWE.
McIntyre was the dominant force in the match from the start, and he quickly took Miz to the ground. McIntyre hit Miz with a few clotheslines and then followed it up with a belly-to-belly suplex. Miz tried to fight back, but McIntyre was too strong for him.
McIntyre eventually hit Miz with the Claymore Kick for the pinfall victory. After the match, McIntyre celebrated in the ring, and he was joined by the fans.
This match was a good way to put McIntyre back in the title picture. He has been one of the most popular wrestlers in WWE for the past few years, and he is deserving of another title run. The Miz is also a very good wrestler, and he helped to put on a great match with McIntyre.
I am looking forward to seeing what is next for McIntyre. I think he would make a great WWE Champion again, and I would like to see him face Roman Reigns for the title in the near future.
Analysis of the other segments:
- Rhea Ripley gives Dominik Mysterio an ultimatum: This is a very interesting development, and it will be interesting to see how Mysterio responds. If he is unable to win the North American Championship next week, it could lead to some tension between him and Ripley.
I think Ripley is right to give Mysterio an ultimatum. He has been given a lot of opportunities, but he has not been able to capitalize on them. He needs to step up and win the North American Championship next week, or he could lose Ripley’s support.
I am looking forward to this match, and I think it has the potential to be one of the best matches of the night. Ripley is a very talented wrestler, and she is going to have to prove herself against two of the best in the business.
I am looking forward to this feud, and I think it has the potential to be one of the best feuds of the year. Rollins and Reigns are two of the most popular wrestlers in WWE, and this feud is going to generate a lot of excitement.
- The Bloodline attacks Seth Rollins: This attack was a good way to build heat for the Rollins vs. Reigns match. It also showed that The Bloodline is still the dominant faction in WWE.
I am looking forward to seeing how Rollins responds to this attack. I think it is going to make him even more determined to defeat Reigns at WrestleMania.
Overall, WWE RAW was a good show this week, and it set up some interesting storylines for the future. I am looking forward to seeing how these storylines develop in the coming weeks and months.
