Carmelo Hayes defends the NXT Championship against Baron Corbin
The NXT Championship will once again be on the line on NXT TV as Carmelo Hayes defends the brand’s greatest prize, this time against the dangerous Baron Corbin.
Corbin stunned the NXT Universe by appearing and attacking Hayes after Hayes’ successful title defense against Noam Dar, sending a message to the champ.
In the weeks following the attack, Corbin defeated Hayes’ right-hand man Trick Williams as well as Ilja Dragunov, solidifying himself as a serious threat to Hayes.
Tune in on Tuesday on USA at 8/7 C to find out who walks out of NXT Gold Rush with the NXT Title.
Thea Hail challenges Tiffany Stratton for the NXT Women’s Championship
Chase U Superstar Thea Hail has a chance to become the youngest NXT Women’s Champion in history, but standing in her way is the force that is Tiffany Stratton.
Stratton captured the title at NXT Battleground after defeating Lyra Valkyria and winning the NXT Women’s Championship Tournament, officially making it “Tiffy Time” in NXT.
Hail, meanwhile, has fought her way to the top, and after a harsh training session with Drew Gulak and Charlie Dempsey, she went out and won the No. 1 Contender Battle Royal to earn the right to challenge for the title.
Will Hail shock the NXT Universe and become the youngest women’s champion ever, or will another “Tiffybration” be in order? Tune in on Tuesday on USA at 8/7 C to find out!
Malik Blade & Edris Enofé to challenge Gallus for the NXT Tag Team Titles
The NXT Tag Team Championships will be on the line during Week Two of NXT Gold Rush as Gallus defend their titles against Malik Blade and Edris Enofé.
In recent weeks, Gallus has been daring the tag teams of NXT to step up to them, but they’ve also been dealing with the wrath of Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo, as The Underboss thinks Gallus had something to do with Tony D’Angelo’s incarceration.
That rivalry escalated when Stacks abducted Joe Coffey and left Gallus without one of their members.
Now, the champions have to turn their attention to the No. 1 Contenders in Blade and Enofé, who won a Triple Threat Tag Team Match to earn the honors.
Tune in to Week Two of NXT Gold Rush on USA at 8/7C to see who walks out as the NXT Tag Team Champs!
Nathan Frazer defends the NXT Heritage Cup for the first time against Dragon Lee
New NXT Heritage Cup Champion Nathan Frazer is wasting no time defending his title as he has granted Dragon Lee the first opportunity at his NXT Heritage Cup.
Frazer won the Cup from Oro Mensah, who was defending it on behalf of an apparently injured Noam Dar.
Dar was crestfallen after losing the Heritage Cup, and he’ll have to wait even longer to get a rematch as Frazer is allowing Lee to be the first challenger after he had Frazer’s back against The Meta-Four.
Will Lee capture his first NXT title, or will Frazer’s reign continue for another week? Tune in to Week Two of NXT Gold Rush on USA at 8/7C to find out!
Gigi Dolin to tangle with Kiana James
The No. 1 Contender Women’s Battle Royal from a few weeks ago spawned one of the newest rivalries in NXT as Gigi Dolin and Kiana James have been verbally blasting each other since they were both tossed over the top rope.
Both Superstars noted their very different paths to getting to NXT, and now they’ll share the ring in a one-on-one match to settle their differences.
Who’s walking out of the ring with their hand raised? Tune in to Week Two of NXT Gold Rush on USA at 8/7C to find out!
