DID YOU ENJOY AEW DYNAMITE ON NOVEMBER 29TH 2023?
A great show.
RUSH and Mark Briscoe looking like the MVP’s of the CC. And put a title on Swerve immediately after the tournament is over
Fucking solid show.
Great wrasslin, hot crowd and the MJF/Joe and Christian/Copeland segments properly moved those stories forward without being too silly.
Needless to say, I think Tony heard the criticisms. More of that, TK!
I really enjoyed this episode of Dynamite.
I thought after decisively winning the Hangman fued that Swerve would be next in line for a shot at MJF, but they seem to be slow playing it a bit. If he wins his group of the CC with Jay and Mox both in it, then beats Danielson in the final? I’d say that’s not only huge for the resume, but leads him to saying he has nothing else left to do but go for the big belt.
Also, I know each side of the bracket can’t be completely stacked, because you need guys to eat losses. But so far both Lethal and Briscoe matches have been great. They’ve both more than proven they’re capable to put on great matches with top guys (not that that was ever necessarily in doubt). But I’d love to see both Mark and Jay score upsets or take one of the big dogs to a draw, I’m sure it’s coming sooner than later.
Decent episode.
Wonder why people keep comparing it to Raw.
Great show!! All hits imo!
Mox vs Lethal was good! Mark vs Rush was really good! Dante’s back! Funny Storm segment. The Copeland-Cage promo was fantastic. MJF did a great job highlighting Joe in his promo, the devil stuff continues to build tension. Julia Hart continues to get good reactions and a great main event! Surprised at Swerve winning but in a good way.
Really really enjoying the Continental Classic so far!
That’s how you put over your opponent MJF is great at it
That Copeland and Christian Cage segment was pure sports entertainment
A fantastic episode
One of my favorites all year. All killer no filler besides the Wardlow match and even that accomplished something showing more of Wardlow than his typical squash.
But all 3 CC matches were pure class, this tournament has been amazing so far and everyone is shining. The 6 man tag and Emi/Julia both overdelivered and that Christian segment was one of the best AEW has done in a very long time.
I still think Jay is gonna win his group because him vs Bryan in the finals makes the most sense. They are the 2 with the most background to be called the 1st AEW triple crown champion. Jay will win out from here and likely him vs Mox will decide the block. Swerve will probably lose to Mox and maybe draw with Briscoe or Rush to open the door for Jay. I know he’s on fire, but I honestly seem him more as the next world champ than I do as the triple crown champ.
Man, I was really stoked to see Dante return.
I hope both he and his brother stay healthy, because I would love to see Top Flight win the tag team titles.
Great, fast episode.
Especially after sitting through 3 hours of Raw.
Also, Penta in a suit rules.
Long live AEW.
What a truly awesome move to have Swerve win.
Crowd here was extremely behind him, he needs to be the next champ
Another tremendous dynamite
As per usual
it’s this one
If there was ever a week that made me happy to have an alternative
legitimate win
I’m thrilled that Emi Sakura is in the role of “legitimate win”, but I wish they’d use her on Dynamite more to set up that she’s respected.
Didn’t expect Swerve to actually win. Dude really is so over right now.
I know people were dismissive when Lethal was announced for the tourney but I’ve really enjoyed his matches so far. Solid limb work throughout both.
Christian and Copeland might be my favorite thing in AEW right now. It’s just the right kind of wrestling soap opera to be tons of fun and also drama filled.
Great Dynamite
I haven’t been as down on the show lately as some others have but it felt like they found a better balance of serious-comedy than they’ve had in awhile.
Some killer matches, Timeless Toni fun and a really great segment with Christian and Copeland.
Good AEW
I like how the tournament can make different matches and new feuds. They need to really use this once the honeymoon time of Jay White has passed.
Dynamite felt VIBRANT tonight.
All 3 CC matches were great (especially RUSH/Briscoe) and the show showcased a lot of the young generation (Julia, Mariah, Swerve, Jay White, MJF, Top Flight).
Also, GO F**K YOURSELF
A lovely watch.
WWE is hotter, but there is no one on this earth who can convince me that the overall quality and watchability of their shows is better than AEW.
That Christian segment was amazing.
Good progress on the C2. Loved the call back to Jay White doing the low blow. I look forward to more things like that as the tournament progresses
Swerve’s the fuckin man
Swerve’s House, Swerve’s Tournament,
Why didn’t that fan get to take Switchblade home?
In football, if a ball gets thrown in to the crowd, the fan gets to keep it.
We are so back!
Kissinger never getting to see who wins the C2.
This era of Dynamite
This era of Dynamite is gonna be looked back on years from now as underrated all timer. Once you remove yourself from the mind numbing modern day discourse.
psychotic Jay
Now we get peak Jay. Mental breakdown.
goddamn moon
Push Swerve Strickland to the goddamn moon.
I don’t know if WWE still does it,
But I’m so happy wrestling seems to have to moved away from the “all heels get along with each other” trope.
In story: Jay and Swerve are both villains, but they’re also competitors that want to win, so they actually fuckin’ laid into each other.
Not at all.
Wardlow coming out with his hair mussed immediately after a segment where four masked men attempted to assault MJF isn’t suspicious at all.
That was a ballsy move, more than some might think.
Main event with two heels is a great concept to establish a hierarchy.
MJF saying that Samoa Joe
Idk if this is me being nit picky but MJF saying that Samoa Joe “wasn’t afforded the opportunity to be WWE Champion” sounds very blatantly like him calling wrestling fake in character (seeing as Joe actually challenged for the title when he was there)
Was at the show tonight.
Super fun. Hopefully crowd came across well!
What a dick.
Christian is doing the best work of his career and his former best friend wants to take it all away from him.
Aew has this obsession with eye patches.
Why the fuck turn the devil angle into retribution 2.0 like it’s so obvious now that it’s Ali like from the hacking into the show gimmick to the masked men and even wardlows hair came off like he just had a mask on. Also who in aew has this obsession with eye patches.
