Holy shit what a PPV.
Speedball vs Will, Josh vs Shelley and Sabin vs Kenta are instant classics in my book. 3 amazing matches all trying to one up each other.
This ppv should easily be nominated for PPV of the year. Wow.
This was honestly a fantastic show.
Opened hot with Kenta/Sabin and just never let off the gas. Monster’s Ball was wild. Tag title match was great. Ospreay/Bailey was incredible. Call your shot was fun. Trinity/Mickie was decent. Main was really good and glad Shelley won.
Don’t know how I feel about the name change though.
I don’t see much of Impact wrestling
Saw a few clips above. Its interesting how progressive Impact is when it comes to gendered wrestling. Women and men wrestle, there are transgender and I guess gender fluid wrestlers who flip between and wrestle everyone. They’ve really took that Lucha Underground spirit but like a 2023 version.

I’m all for the rebrand back to TNA
. Whilst Impact did great with their shows and their overall rebranding as a company, still, the heart and soul was always TNA deep down. Hell, some people still reference it as TNA out of instinct alone. Overall, enjoyed this show from top to bottom and can’t wait to see what the future holds.
Is the return to TNA due to the production upgrades they’ll be getting soon?

I didn’t get to watch this PPV, but I’m so glad a woman won the Call Your Shot. I’m thrilled about Trinity vs Jordynne at Hard to Kill because Jordynne is one of the best women in the world imo and can give Trinity her best match. For those who watched, how was Mickie vs Trinity?Also why did MK Ultra get cut from the show?

If only we could get a new TV deal.
If there’s one takeaway from tonight, it’s that Anthem has its full faith in Scott D’Amore’s product. One of the first things Anthem did when they bought TNA was rebrand the company to get rid of the stigma. Six years later, they’re confident enough to change it back. Add that to the production upgrades and the all the Anthem branding tonight, and it’s clear that Anthem believes in what D’Amore is doing and wants to take the promotion higher.
I’m glad Shelley retained,
escaped being marked a placeholder champion and didn’t have his legs cut off right after hitting his stride. I think he’s been great as champ and only got better as the heel in this feud. There are still a lot of fresh and interesting stories and matches for him as champ. It’s unfortunate the post-match made it appear he may not be building on the angry, paranoid heel character he was crafting the past month. Him further unraveling mentally as a heel champ would’ve been a great story. Maybe they still go that way tomorrow.
Josh losing was the right move. He currently has no mountains to climb as champ. He’s beaten everyone who could be considered a credible challenger and even some not so credible ones. He currently has more stories outside the World Title mix than he does as champ. Them putting the belt on him without any struggle in his chase and his first defense being against Moose for a third straight reign would feel like they were going backwards in more ways than returning to their old name. Shelley winning also further established him as a main event single act at a time when the now TNA can use all of those they can get.
As for the rest, great overall show. Trinity v Mickie wasn’t as strong as the only KO match on BFG should’ve been, but it was fine. Ospreay v Bailey was awesome. I’m surprised PCO beat Moose who’s main eventing the next big PPV. CYS was fine but these matches take up too much time.
Good on them that they’re doing well now.

Show was great. Crowd was awesome till they ran out of gas in the Knockouts world title.
MK Ultra’s match getting cut from the show pissed me off. The show itself was great, no questionable booking decisions outside of PCO winning unless he is staying after all.
Grace beating Bully Ray with her finish was a legit HOLY FUCK moment.
When I tell former wrestling fans, I still watch Impact wrestling and I have to explain it’s the former TNA wrestling which is a name they recognize it makes sense to go back to the name even if it makes zero difference to me.
It’ll be a whole new show come January but TNA will have my money until their door closes so I can’t wait to see what they do
