With the main event of Sakura Genesis already set – Kazuchika Okada defending the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship against Zack Sabre Jr. – the Road tour serves as a crucial platform for building momentum and settling scores. One of the most anticipated matches of the night saw the “Dragon” Shingo Takagi go head-to-head with the ever-devious Yoshinobu Kanemaru. This was a clash of titans, with Takagi’s raw power pitted against Kanemaru’s cunning technical skills. The match was a back-and-forth affair, with Takagi unleashing a series of brutal strikes and Kanemaru utilizing his trademark submissions and underhanded tactics.
