Chaos Erupts as John Cena’s WrestleMania Thank-You Turns into a Danhausen Takeover
Date: April 20, 2026
The Scene: Moments after John Cena officially announced the night two attendance (55,255) and the combined two-night total (106,072) for WrestleMania 42, the ring was invaded by an unlikely pair: The Miz and Kit Wilson. They interrupted Cena’s heartfelt thanks to the crowd, with Miz demanding his own “WrestleMania moment.” Cena, amused, simply stepped aside and waved them on, saying, “Have at it.”
The Danhausen Arrival: Before Miz could get his wish, the arena went dark and the quirky, eerie music of Danhausen hit. A group of small, face-painted “Littlehausens” danced onto the stage, followed by Danhausen himself—who drove his signature “Danhausen mobile” all the way down the ramp. He stormed the ring, pointed dramatically at a baffled Cena, and declared he was a “huge Fanhausen” of the 16-time champion.
The Beatdown: The Miz scoffed, and Kit Wilson shoved one of the Littlehausens, calling them “toxic.” That was his mistake. Another mini-Danhausen delivered a swift low blow to Wilson, and Danhausen ordered the swarm to “dog pile” on him. Then, Danhausen turned and nailed The Miz with a low blow of his own. Cena, now fully entertained, gave Danhausen a nod of approval to hit the Five Knuckle Shuffle on the fallen A-Lister.
The Escape: As Miz was carried away by the Littlehausens, Danhausen dropped a smoke bomb, vanishing right in front of John Cena. Seconds later, Cena spotted him—hilariously trying to hide under the ring apron. The segment ended with Cena laughing at the absurdity as Danhausen scurried away.
