The second night of WWE’s historic first WrestleMania on ESPN kicked off with host John Cena soaking in the Vegas energy before an explosive night of title changes, brutal stipulations, and emotional farewells.
Opening Match: The Future Shocks the Beast
- Match: Oba Femi vs. Brock Lesnar (w/ Paul Heyman)
- Summary: In his WrestleMania debut, the colossal Oba Femi went toe-to-toe with the veteran Lesnar. After surviving an early onslaught of German suplexes and an F5, Femi leveled Lesnar with a devastating chokeslam. He followed up with his finisher, Fall From Grace, to secure the pinfall victory.
- Aftermath: In a stunning and emotional moment, a visibly respectful Brock Lesnar removed his boots and gloves, leaving them in the center of the ring. He shared a long hug with Paul Heyman, soaked in the fans’ applause, and high-fived his way up the ramp—a powerful, symbolic end to his in-ring career.
Intercontinental Championship – Ladder Match Mayhem
- Match: Penta (c) vs. JD McDonagh vs. Dragon Lee vs. Rusev vs. Je’Von Evans vs. Rey Mysterio
- Summary: A high-octane car crash of ladders and high spots. Highlights included Rey Mysterio hanging by his toes from a ladder, Dragon Lee hitting a Styles Clash, and a Spanish Fly off a ladder by McDonagh. In the chaotic finale, Penta delivered a Mexican Destroyer to Je’Von Evans using the ladder itself, then climbed to retrieve the title and retain his championship.
United States Championship – The Rapper’s Delight
- Match: Sami Zayn (c) vs. Trick Williams (w/ Lil Yachty)
- Summary: Zayn dominated early, sending Williams outside and even attacking the rapper Lil Yachty at ringside. However, Yachty got revenge by slamming Zayn’s face off the top rope, creating an opening. Williams capitalized instantly with his Trick Shot finisher. A second Trick Shot moments later sealed the victory, crowning Trick Williams as the NEW United States Champion.
Street Fight – The Demon’s Revenge
- Match: Finn Balor (as “The Demon”) vs. Dominik Mysterio
- Summary: A brutal, weapon-filled grudge match. Dominik dominated much of the fight, using kendo sticks, chairs, and putting Balor through a table in the corner. After kicking out of a Frog Splash from Dominik, Balor turned the tide. He set up another table, ascended to the top rope, and drove Dominik through it with a thunderous Coup De Grace for the win.
Women’s Championship – A Chaotic Crowning
- Match: Jade Cargill (c) vs. Rhea Ripley
- Summary: A hard-hitting power struggle. After Cargill neutralized Ripley’s allies (Michin & B-Fab), IYO SKY made a surprise run-in, wiping out Cargill’s backup. The distraction allowed Ripley to counter Cargill’s “Jaded” finisher into her own Rip Tide. Ripley pinned Cargill to become the NEW Women’s Champion.
Post-Match Segment: The Miz Gets Cursed
- Event: After the title match, John Cena announced the two-night attendance total of 106,072. He was interrupted by The Miz and Kit Wilson. Before they could attack, Danhausen and an army of “little people” Danhausens stormed the ring. Danhausen cursed The Miz and hit a Five Knuckle Shuffle as the tiny army carried Miz to the back.

Main Event – World Heavyweight Championship (Title vs. Legacy)
- Match: CM Punk (c) vs. Roman Reigns
- Summary: A 25-minute war. They brawled through the crowd and destroyed the announce desk. Punk targeted Reigns’ neck with an Anaconda Vice, while Reigns countered with his Guillotine. In a controversial finish, Punk ripped the tape off his hand, threw it at the referee, and delivered a low blow followed by a GTS. Reigns barely kicked out. An enraged Punk dove off the top rope, putting Reigns through the second announce desk. Back in the ring, Punk’s legs gave out attempting another GTS. Reigns seized the moment, hitting two consecutive spears to pin Punk and become the NEW World Heavyweight Champion.
Final Result: A new era dawns in WWE with Trick Williams, Rhea Ripley, and Roman Reigns all capturing gold, while Brock Lesnar says a poignant farewell.
